The study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of establishing a shared-use community/ commercial kitchen as an economic development tool. The study was intended to reveal other potential opportunities that could exist with a viable community kitchen concept to enhance workforce training in the food service industry, culinary arts and help the local food manufacturers who do not have their kitchen facility. A 700 square meter, including areas for processing, storage, shipping, warehousing, etc and areas for culinary training, shared user community kitchen facility is needed in Liliw Laguna according to the fifty (50) respondent’s. The volume of responses and their consistent support of the shared – use concept of community kitchen facility provide sufficient basis for a positive feasibility determination. The strength of the anecdotal information drawn from in – depth interviews simply verifies the survey and provides a high degree of confidence in the study result. The needed facility design and equipment should match ethnic foods, local delicacies/snack foods, meat products and catered meals production. Freelance cooks wanted to use the facility regularly. Ninety-eight percent of the facility schedule could be absorbed by the potential users. The number of caterers without a kitchen in Liliw Laguna area seems to provide a sufficient base to provide a steady revenue stream, for the facility. Specialty food producers accounted for majority of all intended users (60% of respondents) with caterers the second most likely users (23% of respondents). Survey results indicated that there is a potential “hour lease” estimated at 166/168 revenue hours per week. Both groups would utilize the proposed facility. Liliw Senior High School – TVL strand within the vicinity desire to utilize the kitchen as a training facility. The capital budget needed is Php 9, 401, 981. The internal rate of return of the project is 23% at 20% cost money hurdle cost. The Return – on – Investment is 43% using DuPont’s Model and has positive net present value Php 1, 597, 649 assuming project life of eight years. The project can generate sufficient revenue to achieve breakeven point at 3, 173 rental services of Php 850 per hour. Has the ability to pay for itself within three and half (3.5) years with two employees – a facility General Manager on full time employment basis and a Facility General Manager on full time employment basis and a Facility General Affairs Assistant as soon as the revenue permits. The survey result indicated that the facility site is preferred at Mh. Del Pilar Bgry Pagasa Liliw Laguna. Many catering institutions need to be located in close proximity to their catering sites and clientele. A variety of collaborations is possible in developing the project and operating the facility. Potential structures include choices as Liliw Laguna as sole sponsor, owner, operator and administrator of the project transforming the kitchen as Government Owned and Controlled Corporation. The National Pension Scheme (NPS) is a defined contribution and a corporate pension fund that provides financial assistance to all Indian citizens. There are two types of accounts in the National Pension Scheme: Tier I and Tier II. Tier I is a mandatory deposit pension fund account and Tier II is a voluntary pension account. Tier I and Tier II is are consisted of different assets namely, equity, government security and alternative asset. The equity schemes are directly linked with the market. The return of all the fund managers in equity schemes are not same as the portfolio of all the fund managers are not same. Secondary data has been collected from respective websites of Pension Fund Managers and has been used to calculate mean, SD, Variance, and Correlation to predict the performance of equity funds. ANOVA and T-test have been for assessing the comparative analysis of the different fund managers under equity scheme in tier II. As per the study, LIC PF and ICICI PF are the best performer during the study period. The performance of SBI PF is poor among other equity funds under Tier-II of NPS during the study period. In term of risk, LIC PF is the higher risky equity fund and UIT PF is the lowest risky equity fund under Tier-II of NPS. It can be said that investors need to be high-risk taker to invest in that LIC PF. Through the risk analysis during said period of time, it is found that the ability to observe risk differs in equity funds under Tier-II of NPS. The main reason for this being a voluntary account of Tier -II. As there is no lock-in period in this account, the investors mostly use for a short-term purpose. In the recent decision of the government, Tier-II offers a lock-in period for 3 years with tax benefit. This decision may be affected the investment pattern of the investors. Today, transportation quantities on roadways have increased to the point where alternate forms of transportation are required. Sea Routes Transportation (SRT) is one option that has the potential to assist relieve traffic congestion on roadways. Most SRT systems employ vessels in which cargo is rolled on and off by a ramp with relatively limited capacity, often less than 500 TEU, however with increased cargo flow, it is unclear if such alternatives will be economical. The dilemma for ports participating in SRT to face this new massive change is to make suitable expenditures and analysis software. Transition is not just a current trend, as well as a structured process. That modification could not be avoided by excluding ports. A transformation project has begun in order to modify their operating structure as well as the services they provide. Artificial intelligence and data-driven services expand the landscape of services far beyond conventional models now in use. The purpose of this study is to examine and assess the new potential for Telecommunications/Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies at port facilities. These prospects are a first step in transforming ports for the long term. The research’s important component is the application of technology science approaches in the area of strategy and planning connected to the construction of components systems (e.g., interrelations among ships and materiel) with managing equipment selections. Lake Nakuru National Park is choking of solid and liquid waste pollutants emanating from upstream more so during the windy and rainy seasons. Due to the nature of terrains, most of the flashflood water and the drainage system find its way to the lake. The strong winds from the upper area of the town collect waste which ends up on top of the forest trees around the lake. Further, at times the sewer system bursts and discharges the raw sewer to the park. These unfortunate incidences lead to damage or destruction of the ecosystem that has been protected over the years. The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility on Industrial Waste Management within Nakuru Environs and Lake National Park. The study adopted Stakeholders and Institutional theories for its study. A sample of 55 employees of Lake Nakuru National Park and 15 Community Business Leaders were used for the study. Primary data was collected using questionnaires and interview schedule. It was established that an effective industrial waste management practices on the environment has positive economic effects for businesses prosperity, flora and fauna conservation as well as a sustainable environmental. Environmental conservation awareness trainings for most businesses had been undertaken. Most of the business people held some sense of responsibility on managing waste as they conduct their businesses but the issue mainly lies on the part of the consumer’s disposal of packaging materials. Consumers were also becoming increasingly aware, sensitive and alive to the fact that a clean and safe environment is important. The emerging model shows the need to shift from the traditional 3Rs to 5Rs, owing to changes in national environmental policies, which emphasis on the use of Repackaging of products in terms of quality management, and reduce as additional waste management practices, thus, a shift from the 3Rs to 5Rs. The study recommended that the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources should mobilize financial, technical and physical resources for building the capacity of the local community, and the business community towards effective industrial waste management. There should be strict compliance to industrial waste management policies by all stakeholders. Emphasis on the 5R’S from the marketing perspective was also recommended. This way, waste will be minimized and the environment will be conserved. The recommendations will be beneficial to the County Government, the Business Community as well as the Park Management. It can also assist the National government in formulating policies that can assist in addressing issues to do with environmental concerns and management. This study evaluated the effect of Human Resource Accounting on profitability: A study of selected firm’s quoted on the Nigerian stock exchange. The study adopted ex-post facto research design. The population of the study was 116 firms categorized as non-financial services sector. Purposive sampling technique was used and 76 firms were considered which had secondary data information that covered a period of 10years from 2010-2020. The regression analysis/hypothesis testing was done with the aid of linear structural relations LISREL 8.80 student edition. Data were sourced from annual reports and accounts and Nigerian stock exchange fact book 2020. Findings using profitability measure showed that Staff Training and Development cost has a significant positive effect on EBTIDA but no significant positive effect on ROCE of quoted non–financial service firms. . Increment in number of staff has no significant positive effect on EBTIDA but has a positive significant effect on ROCE of quoted non–financial service firms. The study concluded that Human Resource Accounting affects corporate performance of non-financial service firms quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. It is therefore recommended among others, that staff training and development has to be a regular program both on-the-job and off-the job tailored towards filling the identified skills and attitude gaps in the company. Also Increment in the number of staff should be encouraged as this will attract more positive effect on ROCE.

This mini survey is aiming at collecting communal idea and feeling of employees towards their institute and operational modes of different modalities. Through the result from this survey, the management may make conform of the issues suggested by participants basing on the institute existing situation. The survey contemplated on the evaluating level of employees’ job satisfaction. All professional employees were invited to participate in the survey and the data was conveniently collected from 22 participants through structured questionnaire (Likert scale). The main areas addressed in the survey were employee job recognition, employee work environment, salary and wages, employee supervision at work. The results from the survey indicate that majority(86%) of the employees are satisfied with the manner they are recognized by the institute management. Most of the employees were satisfied with working environment. However, majority (82%) were dissatisfied with amount of salary and wages paid for their work. The survey team recommends the institute management to maintain admirable those areas with high level of satisfaction and take action for those areas with low satisfaction. However, large survey may be needed to observe other areas of satisfaction and dissatisfaction. KEY WORDS: Employees Job Satisfaction Level

The degree of fluctuation of a country’s currency in relation to other currencies is an important factor in determining her foreign trade position. The study employed both theoretical and empirical approaches to examine Ghana’s real exchange rate and the impact on her foreign trade. A time series data, spanning from 1991 to 2019 was analyzed in an attempt to establish the relationship between exchange rate and economic growth. It is argued in the study that exchange rate has impact on a country’s export volumes. A verification on the relationship between labour force and international trade was also conducted. The study was also extended to examining the impact of a country’s access to stable electric power on export volumes. Findings of the study revealed a statistically significant and inverse association existing between exchange rate and international trade. The study also found that, wide electricity coverage has statistically significant and direct effect on foreign trade, resulting from an increased production capacity due to the availability of electric power. The study however found no suggestive evidence to support the claim that, labour force has impact on her foreign trade. A test on granger causality found no causal linkage between the variables. Myanmar is a resource-rich country. It is endowed with precious mineral resources. Previously, Myanmar was called ‘Rice bowl of the East’ because of its fertile land and rich forest products. Not only in mineral resources, it is also rich in cultural aspects as well. Myanmar is also known as a ‘home of many civilizations to the South East Asian nations’. However, it is one of the poorest countries in the world despite its richness in natural and mineral resources. It has been known as one of the most isolated countries due to its setback under the military rule. The economy was under strict governmental control and the poor economic policies virtually destroyed the whole economy. In other words, the economy of the country deteriorated due to poor management of resources. The people of the ‘rice bowl of the east’ were dying due to hunger and the morale of the people has been ruined. Many cases of human rights violation have been reported every year.

The study empirically examined the effect of debt management on infrastructural development of the Nigeria economy. Ex- post facto research design was adopted for the study. Data was collected through secondary sources from the archive of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Debt management Office of Nigeria (DMON). The data analysis was done using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression technique. The population of study consists of the federal government of Nigeria, the thirty- six state governments in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) bringing the total population to thirty – eight (38). The same number serves as the sample size. The major findings showed that debt servicing and interest rate appeared with negative relationship on infrastructural development. It is recommended that government should apply appropriate policies with respect to debt variables for sustaining development in infrastructure.
