In this article, Dave Pollard, Chief Knowledge Officer at Ernst & Young Canada since 1994, relates the award-winning process his firm has used, and which many of the corporations that have visited the Centre for Business Knowledge in Toronto are adapting for their own needs, to transform the company from a knowledge-hoarding to a knowledge-sharing enterprise. The article espouses a five-phase transformation process: • Developing the Knowledge Future State Vision, Knowledge Strategy and Value Propositions • Developing the Knowledge Architecture and Determining its Content • Developing the Knowledge Infrastructure, Service Model and Network Support Mechanisms • Developing a Knowledge Culture Transformation Program • Leveraging Knowledge into Innovation The author identifies possible strategies, leading practices, and pitfalls to avoid in each phase. He also explores the challenges involved in identifying and measuring intellectual capital, encouraging new knowledge creation, capturing human knowledge in structural form, and enabling virtual workgroup collaboration.

Subject. This article discusses the effectiveness of government programmes to support renewable energy and whether they should continue to be implemented. Objectives. The article aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the changes in solar and wind power projects under the State support programme within the period from 2014 to 2019 and assess the effectiveness of the acting incentive mechanisms. Methods. For the study, I used the Learning-by-Doing theory and Project Management principles and methods. Results. The article proposes to consider the local content of the projects implemented as the key effectiveness indicator of the renewable energy support programme in Russia. For solar projects, this figure is currently significantly higher than the planned one, and it corresponds to the planned one for wind projects. In general, therefore, the programme can be considered effective. Conclusions. Further improvements in renewable energy support mechanisms should take into account the need to drastically increase the pace of training in the full cycle of the renewable energy project, including the operation phase of generating equipment and the supply of electricity to the grid.

Background: Persons with an intellectual disability are at increased risk of experiencing adversities. The current study aims at providing an overview of the research on how resilience in adults with intellectual disabilities, in the face of adversity, is supported by sources in their social network. Method: A literature review was conducted in the databases Psycinfo and Web of Science. To evaluate the quality of the included studies, the Mixed Method Appraisal Tool (MMAT) was used. Results: The themes: “ positive emotions,” “ network acceptance,” “ sense of coherence” and “ network support,” were identified as sources of resilience in the social network of the adults with intellectual disabilities. Conclusion: The current review showed that research addressing sources of resilience among persons with intellectual disabilities is scarce. In this first overview, four sources of resilience in the social network of people with intellectual disabilities were identified that interact and possibly strengthen each other.
