Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense is the causal agent of banana Fusarium wilt, also known as Panama disease. Here, we present a high-quality genome sequence of F. oxysporum f. sp. cubense strain 160527. The genome assembly is composed of 12 contigs with a total assembly length of 51,139,495 bp (N 50 contig length, 4,884,632 bp).

Colletotrichum fructicola is a causal agent of strawberry anthracnose and a major economic pathogen of horticultural and ornamental crops worldwide. Here, we present an annotated draft genome sequence for a C. fructicola isolate previously used for transcriptomic analysis. The assembly totals 58.0 Mb in 477 contigs with 18,143 predicted genes.

ABSTRACT Rhizobium sp. strain TBD182, isolated from a novel hydroponics system, is an antagonistic bacterium that inhibits the mycelial growth of Fusarium oxysporum but does not eliminate the pathogen. We report the draft genome sequence of TBD182, which may contribute to elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of its fungistatic activity.

Here, we present a draft genome sequence of the type strain IBSBF 435 of Erwinia psidii (Enterobacteriaceae), a phytopathogen that causes bacterial blight on guava (Psidium guava) and dieback and wilt on eucalypt (Eucalyptus spp.), both of which are important emerging diseases.

ABSTRACT Here, we report the genome of Fusarium euwallaceae strain HFEW-16-IV-019, an isolate obtained from Kuroshio shot hole borer (a Euwallacea sp.). These beetles were collected in Tijuana, Mexico, from elm trees showing typical symptoms of Fusarium dieback. The final assembly consists of 287 scaffolds spanning 48,274,071 bp and 13,777 genes.

ABSTRACT Streptomyces aureoverticillatus HN6 was isolated in Hainan, China. It is highly inhibitory to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense race 4 (FOC4), which causes banana Fusarium wilt. The HN6 genome was fully sequenced and assembled. Bionformatic analysis shows that the HN6 genome contains at least 208 genes involved in antibiotic biosynthesis.

Fusarium proliferatum is a component of the onion basal rot disease complex. We present an annotated F. proliferatum draft genome sequence, totaling 45.8 Mb in size, assembled into 597 contigs, with a predicted 15,418 genes. The genome contains 58 secondary metabolite clusters and homologs of the Fusarium oxysporum effector SIX2.
