Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Mycoplasma synoviae HN01, a virulent epidemic strain isolated from a sick chicken with synovitis in Henan Province, China. HN01 is the Asian source of an M. synoviae strain that is completely sequenced, genome annotated, and published with relevant data.

Elizabethkingia sp. strain 2-6 was collected from a water faucet in the intensive care unit of a medical center in Taiwan. The complete genome sequence and annotation are reported. Analysis of the genetic relatedness to the known Elizabethkingia genomes indicated that strain 2-6 may be a new genomospecies of Elizabethkingia.

Here, we present the complete genome sequence of Mycoplasma synoviae strain 5-9. Strain 5-9 was attenuated by chemical mutagenesis from a field strain isolated from egg breeders in Ningxia, China. It was completely sequenced and its genome annotated; it is presented with the relevant data as a potential vaccine candidate.

Thermus thermophilus strain HC11 was isolated from Mine Geyser in Japan, where type strain HB8 was isolated 50 years ago. In this article, the complete genome sequence of HC11 is presented. HC11 shares the highest average nucleotide identity with HB8 among known T. thermophilus genomes (93.1%) with no genetic rearrangements.

Caballeronia sp. strain NK8 grows on 3-chlorobenzoate and shows chemotaxis toward 3-chlorobenzoate and its degradation products, such as chlorocatechols. Complete genome sequencing revealed a 9.2-Mb genome consisting of three chromosomes and four plasmids. The genes for degradation of chlorobenzoate and chlorocatechols were located on plasmids pNK81 and pNK84, respectively.

ABSTRACT Whole-genome sequencing of Acinetobacter sp. strain NCu2D-2, isolated from the trachea of a mouse, revealed the presence of a plasmid of 309,964 bp with little overall similarity to known plasmids and enriched in insertion sequences (ISs) closely related to IS elements known from the nosocomial pathogen Acinetobacter baumannii.

ABSTRACT The genome sequence of Rhizobium sp. strain 76, a bacterium isolated from the hyphosphere of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum, is reported here. Genome sequencing and assembly yielded 5,375,961 bases with a 59.14% G+C content, comprising two chromosomes and one plasmid.

Although isolation of the bacteriophages (phages) specific to Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) is increasing, the number of those specific to STEC non-O157 strains, instead of STEC O157, with whole-genome sequencing characterization is relatively low. Here, we announce the complete genome sequence of a T7-like lytic phage against STEC O45.
