There are some problems in English smart classroom, such as slow response speed of related platforms and room for improvement of teaching effect. Therefore, it is necessary to construct English smart classroom and innovate teaching mode under the background of Internet of Things (IoT) multimedia communication. The teaching objectives are divided into classroom teaching objectives, curriculum objectives, and education and training objectives, so as to design the technical support for English smart classroom, that is, to build a smart classroom integrating cloud application platform (including students’ learning cloud and teachers’ teaching cloud), teaching platform, resource platform, learning space, and interactive classroom by using Internet of Things multimedia communication technology, and build an innovative teaching mode of English wisdom classroom. The fuzzy hierarchical evaluation model is used to design the fuzzy hierarchical evaluation algorithm. Through the fuzzy hierarchical evaluation algorithm, the teaching effect of smart classroom is evaluated, and the final evaluation result is obtained. The results show that the average platform login time of the proposed method is always below 0.3 s, the average score of the summative evaluation is high, the evaluation time is always below 0.4 s, the average communication delay is 0.54 s, and the user satisfaction is always above 9.2. The practical application effect is better.

With the development of emerging technology innovations such as the internet of things, classroom management has also shown an informatization trend. Among them, smart classrooms are an important part of the current university information environment construction. The purpose of this article is to build a smart classroom into an intelligent teaching environment with many functions such as intelligent perception and identification, real-time monitoring based on the internet of things technology and cloud computing technology. A questionnaire survey was conducted among freshman students in some majors, and interviews were conducted with the instructors. It was found that 92.19% of the students were satisfied with the classroom learning in the smart classroom environment, and most teachers thought that the teaching effect had been improved. Experiments have proven that the operation of smart classrooms based on the internet of things and cloud computing realizes the intelligence of teaching management services and improves the level of education informationization in schools.

Internet of Things (IoT) is going to create many changes in libraries. However, its application in libraries requires the use of various infrastructures. This paper aims to determine IoT infrastructures in academic libraries and examine them in Iranian academic libraries. This is a descriptive survey with two qualitative and quantitative approaches. The statistical population consists of 15 central libraries of state universities of Tehran in 2018. The infrastructures needed to apply this technology in libraries were extracted through an in-depth study method and based on which a researcher-made questionnaire was designed and its reliability and validity were confirmed. The questions were answered in three parts by managers, library staffs, and IT specialists Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics and SPSS software. A total of 4 infrastructures and 42 components were obtained for IoT in libraries. The results showed that the studied libraries, having 60.53% of the required infrastructures are in moderate condition. Technical, financial, legal and human resource infrastructures, respectively, with an average score of 64.85%, 63.7%, 71.23%, and 64.7% are also in moderate condition. The studied libraries are in moderate condition in terms of the required infrastructures for using IoT and are still far from ideal. It is suggested that the identified weaknesses and shortcomings will be addressed by managers and authorities in order to provide the basis for using this technology.

Recent progress in learning indicates the importance of students to be active in invents things rather than passive recipients. Smart Classrooms can make a noticeable change in how teachers can teach and learners can learn. The objective of the project presented in this paper is to propose a smart algorithm that provides a means of achieving a smart classroom environment in which most of the manual processes are automated and provides an efficient way of interconnecting multiple classes, thereby providing a unique way for information transfer. The proposed algorithm uses the Internet of Things to communicate between various classrooms and transmit/receive the required information. An embedded module installed in each classroom can collect information such as attendance detail, teacher’s location, and updates the information in the server for future use. These details are then used for some critical purposes, such as sending circulars, calling a particular teacher immediately to the office, etc

This paper concerns the study of user experience and focuses on two aspects i.e. usability and user satisfaction. Two mobile applications for monitoring human activity, Mi Fit and Google Fit, were tested. Both applications work with sports armbands. Two methods were used for the study: a questionnaire and eye tracking. The comparison of the applications was made on the basis of the collected results from questionnaires, measurements of task completion times and the number and type of errors detected. Nine respondents participated in the study. The Google Fit application received a higher average score for user satisfaction, fewer errors and shorter task completion times.

A design is proposed using IR and LDR sensor for automation of lights and fans using ATMEGA 328P with Internet of Things for smart collage. Nowadays we’re having automation of every little electrical device in our homes and collage’s. Internet of Things is the concept of basically connecting any device with an on and off switch to the internet. EMBEDDED SYSTEM is more than smart homes and collage’s and connected appliances; however, it scales up to include smart cities with connected sensors. Using IR sensors, the lights will automatically turn on and off according to the intensity of light. Temperature sensors will detect the room temperature and turn on and off fans.
