The aim of the paper is to introduce the concept of new hybrid contractions that combine Jaggi hybrid type contractions and Suzuki type contractions with w -orbital admissible. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of such new hybrid contractions in theorems and results. Further, an illustrated example is given. With the results of this study, we generalize several well-known results in the recent fixed point literature.

The goal of this manuscript is to present a new fixed-point theorem on θ − contraction mappings in the setting of rectangular M-metric spaces (RMMSs). Also, a nontrivial example to illustrate our main result has been given. Moreover, some related sequences with θ − contraction mappings have been discussed. Ultimately, our theoretical result has been implicated to study the existence and uniqueness of the solution to a nonlinear integral equation (NIE).

AbstractIn this paper, we introduce the notion of α-ψ-contractive mapping of type E, to remedy of the weakness of the existing contraction mappings. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of such mappings. We also list some examples to illustrate our results that unify and generalize the several well-known results including the famous Banach contraction mapping principle.

Partial b -metric spaces are characterised by a modified triangular inequality and that the self-distance of any point of space may not be zero and the symmetry is preserved. The spaces with a symmetric property have interesting topological properties. This manuscript paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of fixed point points for contraction mappings using triangular weak α -admissibility with regard to η and C -class functions in the class of partial b -metric spaces. We also introduce an example to demonstrate the obtained results.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of set-valued Prešić–Reich type contractive condition in ultrametric spaces and establish the existence and uniqueness of coincidence and common fixed point of a set-valued and a single-valued mapping besides furnishing illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements in the context of ultrametric spaces. Our results generalize and extend some known results in the literature.

<p>In this paper, we introduce $ \alpha $-admissible extended $ \mathcal{Z} $-contraction in the extended rectangular $ b $-metric spaces, then we provide some other conditions in Theorem 3.1, which are different from that in Chifu et al. [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="b1">1</xref>], and obtain the existence and uniqueness of fixed point in such spaces. Moreover, some examples are given to show the validity of our main theorems, and we give some corollaries related to our main results. As an application, we apply our main results to solve the existence of solutions for a class of boundary value problems of second order ordinary differential equations.</p>

In this paper, we establish fixed point theorems for α - F -convex contraction mappings in b -metric space and prove the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for such mappings. Our result extends and generalizes comparable results in the existing literature. Finally, we provide an example in support of our main finding.

<p>In this paper, we introduce the notions of generalized α-F-contraction and modified generalized α-F-contraction. Then, we present sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of fixed points for the above kind of contractions. Necessarily, our results generalize and unify several results of the existing literature. Some examples are presented to substantiate the usability of our obtained results.</p>

Combining the approaches of functionals associated with h-concave functions and fixed point techniques, we study the existence and uniqueness of a solution for a class of nonlinear integral equation: x(t) = g1(t)-g2(t) + ? ?t,0 V1(t,s)h1(s,x(s))ds + ? ?T,0 V2(t,s)h2(s,x(s))ds; where C([0,T];R) denotes the space of all continuous functions on [0,T] equipped with the uniform metric and t?[0,T], ?,? are real numbers, g1, g2 ? C([0, T],R) and V1(t,s), V2(t,s), h1(t,s), h2(t,s) are continuous real-valued functions in [0,T]xR.

AbstractIn this paper, we propose some new type of weak cyclic multivalued contraction mappings by generalizing the cyclic contraction using the δ-distance function. Several novel fixed point results are deduced for such class of weak cyclic multivalued mappings in the framework of metric spaces. Also, we construct some examples to validate the usability of the results. Various existing results of the literature are generalized.
