The Heteroptera (true bugs) and its fourth-largest family Pentatomidae (stink bugs) are worldwide distributed groups with higher diversity in the tropics. The pentatomid subfamily Discocephalinae is almost restricted to the Neotropical Region, and it is divided into the tribes Discocephalini and Ochlerini. Eurystethus Mayr, 1864 is placed within Discocephalini and comprises 18 species, 16 out of them classified into two subgenera. Here we describe Eurystethus jo sp. nov., Eurystethus multipunctatus sp. nov., and Eurystethus rufodorsatus sp. nov., all occurring in Brazil, compare them to other species and provide a distribution map.

Four samples of hydrobiids from Macedonia (N-Greece) have been studied, two of which could be identified as Grossuana angeltsekovi, a widely distributed species in Bulgaria and N-Greece. Three species are described as new for science by morphology of the shell and penis. A distribution map, photos of the shells and the penis are presented. The material has been collected by Robert Reuselaars and Kyriakos Papavasileiou during a field trip in September 2017.

The current paper expands knowledge of the genus Coddingtonia Miller, Griswold & Yin, 2009. Based on morphological characters and molecular data, three species are documented as new to science: C. erhuan Feng & Lin, sp. nov. (♀) from China, C. lizu Feng & Lin, sp. nov. (♀) from China, and C. huifengi Feng & Lin, sp. nov. (♂♀) from Indonesia. The type of C. euryopoides Miller, Griswold & Yin, 2009 is also reexamined. DNA sequences (COI), detailed illustrations of habitus, male palp and epigyne are provided for these four species, as well as a key and a distribution map for Coddingtonia species.

Three new species of Drephalys Watson, 1893 from Brazil are described as follows: D. dracarys Madruga, Siewert, Mielke & Dolibaina, sp. n. from Acre, Mato Grosso and Rondônia states, D. electrinus Siewert, Madruga, Mielke & Dolibaina, sp. n. from Acre and Amazonas states, and D. citrinus Madruga, Siewert, Mielke & Casagrande, sp. n. from Amazonas state. Drephalys heraclides Bell, 1942 was reported for the first time from Brazil. To characterize the new species, illustrations of the male genitalia of D. heraclides, D. phoenice (Hewitson, 1867) and D. phoenicoides (Mabille & Boullet, 1919) are provided. Diagnosis, adult photos, illustration of the male genitalia and a geographical distribution map are provided for the new species.

This synopsis provides a key, genus description, synonymy, species descriptions, distribution, habitat, vernacular names (when available), specimens examined, illustrations and distribution map for the five species of Laxoplumeria known. A new synonym (L. macrophylla) is proposed and three new species (L. aberrans, L. longipetiolata, L. verticillata) are described.

The genus Luispenaia Martínez (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Melolonthinae: Tanyproctini), is revised and four species are recognized: L. paradoxa Martínez, L. atacamensis new species, L. paposo new species, and L. paulseni new species. This genus is endemic to the Atacama Desert in northern Chile from the regions of Antofagasta to Coquimbo. Diagnostic characters, illustrations, a distribution map, and an identification key are provided for all species. Observations on the habitat, ecology, and distribution of species are given.

We describe three new species in the genus Glaphyrosoma: G. magnaproctalis n. sp., G. franciscoasturiasi n. sp. and G. hectorcentenoi n. sp. We provide new data on the distribution of G. karnyi, G. beretka and G. anderi in Guatemala. We propose G. bruneri as nomen dubium and we define the status of specimens recorded as G. gracile in Guatemala and Costa Rica. We also include a species distribution map of this genus with the information available to us up to date and a key to species.

Campylocentrum comprises about 70 species, half of which are cited from Brazil. In recent studies for the taxonomical review of the genus, three new species belonging to C. sect. Campylocentrum were found and are here described. Two of these species are from the Atlantic Forest, C. itatiaiae and C. schlechterianum, and one from Cerrado vegetation, C. carvalhoi. We provide illustrations, distribution map and a discussion about their affinities with allied species.

Tapiena Bolívar, 1906 (type species Tapeina acutangula Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878) (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae) is reviewed from China. A list and an identification key to ten species of Tapiena from China are given. Three new species are described: T. parapentagona sp. n., T. bilobata sp. n., and T. stridulous sp. n.. The previously unknown female of T. spinicaudata Liu & Xia, 1996 are described for the first time. Based on the examination of male stridulatory area, some known species are redescribed. Important and necessary illustrations, a distribution map, and discussion on distribution of Tapiena are provided.

Three new species of the genus Incadorcus are described from Junín, Peru, and Coroico and Carrasco, Bolivia. The new species are compared with related species and illustrated. Dorsal habitus, head, pronotum, elytra and male genitalia of all species are figured and a distribution map is included. Incadorcus cuzcoensis Arnaud, Noguchi & Bomans is elevated to species status and Incadorcus kirchneri Schenk is synonymized with Incadorcus michellae Arnaud & Bomans. The species Metadorcus rufolineatus Nagel and Aegognathus nigrosuturalis Weinreich are transferred to the genus Onorelucanus.
