The objective of this manuscript is to research the management, biology, habitat, ecology, geographic distribution, taxonomy, life cycle, phenology, parasitoidism (parasitism) of the Mymaridae Family (Insecta: Hymenoptera). The research was carried out in studies related to quantitative aspects taxonomic and conceptual aspects. A literature search was carried out containing articles published from 1984 to 2021. The mini review was prepared in Goiânia, Goiás, from September to October 2021. Prosopanche cocuccii is described as a new species from Southern Brazil. It resembles P. bonacinae due to the trigonous rhizome and by the general size of the flower organs. Nevertheless, P. cocuccii is distinguished by the main floral morphological characteristics used to differentiate species. In addition, the new species presents some rare characters for the genus, such as a highly branched rhizome and flowers usually grouped in fascicles. We provide a description, illustrations, field photographs, morphological details under the stereomicroscope, and comments on habitat, ecology, distribution, and conservation of the new species, as well as an updated key for the genus Prosopanche. In addition, we identified that P. cocuccii produces a large number of rhizomes and fruits for each single host specimen of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum), which resulted in a decrease in height and growth of its only known host plant.

The present work is an effort to untangle the taxonomy of Phlogacanthus pulcherrimus, a poorly known species reported here for the first time for the flora of Vietnam. Fresh specimens of this species were collected from three localities in Southern Vietnam. They provided new insights to its appearance and morphology. Phlogacanthus pulcherrimus can be distinguished from the morphologically close P. geoffrayi and P. turgidus by oblanceolate-obovate, light to dark purple flower-subtending bracts, oblanceolate bracteoles, and staminodes 1 mm long. The corolla of the Vietnamese specimens of P. pulcherrimus is uniformly dark purple outside. A detailed description, photographs, and information on habitat, ecology and distribution of P. pulcherrimus are provided. Typification of this name is performed, and a specimen at K (K000885620) is designated as a lectotype.

Two Monodiamesa species collected in all stages and both sexes from the Tibetan Plateau are erected as M. secunditibetica Han and Tang, sp. n. and M. bonalpicola Han and Tang, sp. n. Molecular analysis of barcodes (COI-5P) for some related known species confirms the species validity and allows inference of internal relationships. Detailed description, habitat ecology and geographical information of two new species are provided. Additionally, brief comments on some known eastern Palaearctic species of Monodiamesa are made to give insights on further study.
