Tomosvaryella Aczél, 1939 has a cosmopolitan distribution and is a genus well studied in general in the Neotropical Region. However, in Colombia only three species were recorded. Two new species of Tomosvaryella are described from protected areas and from conflict territories of limited access in Colombia, namely: Tomosvaryella macarenensis sp. nov. (type-locality: Serrania Macarena, Meta) and T. martae sp. nov. (type-locality: San Vicente del Caguan, Caquetá). The female of T. tuberculata Hardy, 1948 is described. Tomosvaryella similis (Hough, 1899) is new to South America (Colombia) and T. galapagensis (Curran, 1934), T. lynchi (Shannon, 1927), T. mexicanensis Ale-Rocha & Rafael, 1995, T. similis, T. tuberculata and T. venezuelana Ale-Rocha, 1993 are reported for the first time in Colombia. Illustrations and a dichotomic key to Colombian species of Tomosvaryella are presented. Furthermore, the diagnosis of all species recorded in Colombia are amended. The Tomosvaryella fauna is increased from three to 11 species in Colombia.

The article describes two new species: Roepkiella jakli sp. nov. (type locality: Indonesia, Sangir Isl., Tahuna Distr., Bukit Bembalut Hill) and R. korshunovi sp. nov. (type locality: Thailand, Khon Kaen Prov., Phu Wiang Wat). The diagnostic features are given, the male genitalia of R. celebensis (Roepke, 1957) are described for the first time.

The diverse bee genus Psaenythia Gerstaecker (Panurginae, Protandrenini), hitherto known from central and southern South America, is recorded from northern South America for the first time. Two new species are described: Psaenythia diceratops, sp. n., from northeastern Colombia, and P. guaricoensis, sp. n., from central Venezuela. The males of P. diceratops are noteworthy for possessing prominent apicolateral clypeal horns, elongate scythe-like mandibles, and displaying macrocephaly with strong dimorphism. In this contribution we present updates on the taxonomy and morphology of the South American species of Amitermes. Two new species are described: Amitermes bandeirai, sp. n., from Brazil, and Amitermes lilloi, sp. n., from Argentina. Amitermes nordestinus is a junior synonym of Amitermes aporema. The imago of A. aporema is described for the first time. Detailed comparative gut anatomy of the eight species is presented for the first time. The geographic distribution of Amitermes in South America is expanded and the distribution patterns of some species are discussed.

Two new species of Neotropical Geophilomorpha are described: Ribautia combinata n. sp. from Peru and R. donatellae n. sp. from Brazil. New records from Amazonia are given for R. ducalis Pereira, Minelli & Barbieri, 1995. R. proxima Pereira, Minelli & Barbieri, 1994 is recorded for the first time from Guyane française. Abstract - A new species of Megagrapha Melander, 1927 and a new species of Tachyempis Melander, 1927 are described. The genus Megagrapha is reported from the Neotropical region for the first time. Megagrapha boliviana n. sp. is related to M. pubescens (Loew,1862), from which it differs in having a yellow occipital region, a linear posterior margin along eye, in the shape of the flagellomere, 1 developed humeral seta, 2 notopleural setae, the different costal index of the wing, yellow first and second abdominal segments and other segments brown. Tachyempis bettellai n. sp. is related to T. gagatina Melander, 1927, from which it differs in having the wing entirely infuscate, yellow coxae, yellow fore and midlegs, hindleg with brown femur and apically brown tibia and the different costal index of the wing.Riassunto - Due nuove specie di ditteri Hybotidae della Bolivia con chiave delle specie mondiali di Megagrapha (Diptera). Vengono descritte una nuova specie di Megagrapha Melander, 1927 e una nuova specie di Tachyempis Melander, 1927 della Bolivia. Il genere Megagrapha è nuovo per la Regione Neotropicale. Megagrapha boliviana n. sp. differisce dall’affine M. pubescens (Loew, 1862) per l’area occipitale gialla, il margine posteriore dell’occhio lineare, la struttura del flagellomero, la presenza di una setola omerale, 2 setole notopleurali, il primo e secondo segmento addominale gialli e gli altri bruni e per il differente indice costale dell’ala; Tachyempis bettellai n. sp. differisce dall’affine T. gagatina Melander, 1927 per le ali uniformemente imbrunite, le anche gialle, le zampe anteriori e mediane interamente gialle, il femore posteriore bruno e la tibia posteriore con l’apice bruno, nonché per il differente indice costale dell’ala.

Acropsis Grant, 1958 is a monotypic genus with records only for Peru (type locality). Acropsis is being redescribed, including the Acropsis tectiformis species and two new species: Acropsis solimoesensis sp. nov. and Acropsis julianae sp. nov. The male internal genitalia and the stridulatory file morphology for the genus is being described for the first time. Furthermore, the genus is registered for the first time for Colombia (Caquetá) and Brazil (Acre and Amazonas) and additionally notes on the habitat are made.

The paper reviews the  most recent findings of the  Rosaceae-feeding Nepticulidae species along with previous records of these tropically specialized leaf-miners in South America and describes three new species: one species on Hesperomeles obtusifolia (Pers.) Lindl (Stigmella circinata Diškus  &  Stonis, sp.  nov.) and two species on Rubus  spp. (S. rubiphagiella Diškus & Stonis, sp. nov. and Ectoedemia morae Diškus & Stonis, sp. nov.); all from the equatorial Andes. Additionally, leaf-mines of the unknown Stigmella taxa feeding on Acaena L., Alchemilla L., Rubus L., Prunus L., and Hesperomeles Lindl are documented. Description of previously unknown females of Stigmella nubimontana Puplesis & Diškus and photographic documentation of leaf-mines of S. nubimontana and S. rubeta Puplesis & Diškus are provided for the first time. The discovered Rosaceae-feeding Nepticulidae exhibit morphological and taxonomical diversity: two new species groups, Stigmella imperatoria and S. circinata, are designated; the latter is also compared with the most similar and probably closely related Holarctic S. hemargyrella and S. sorbi groups.

The genus Laemostenus is recorded from China for the first time, and two new species are described: L. (Pristonychus) zhentangensissp. nov. (type locality: Dinggyê County, Xizang), and L. (P.) zhamensissp. nov. (type locality: Nyalam County, Xizang). The relationships of these new species are briefly discussed.

Three subgenera of Chelonus Panzer (1806): Areselonus Braet (1999), Baculonus Braet & van Achterberg (2001) and Megachelonus Baker (1926) are recorded for the first time from China. The species of Chelonus (Areselonus) chailini Walker & Huddleson is reported for the first time, and new host information is provided. The subgenus of Baculonus Braet & van Achterberg, 2001 has been recorded only from the Neotropical region before this study. Chelonus (Baculonus) icteribasis sp. nov., represents the first record of this group from the Old World. Two new species of subgenus Megachelonus, i.e., C. (M.) macros sp. nov. and C. (M.) longqiensis sp. nov., are described from China. A key to the six currently known Megachelonus species is included to facilitate future identifications.

Two new species are described from Ecuador: Anisopodus flavomarginatus, and Leptocometes brevicornis. Hyperplatys argus (Bates, 1872) is transferred to its original genus: Anisopodus White, 1855. Comments regarding the type locality of Hylettus eremita (Erichson, 1847) and variation of pronotal and elytral pubescence pattern in the species are provided. The species is reported from Colombia for the first time. The type locality, number of specimens in the original description, and institution depositary of the syntypes of Astynomus sallei Candèze (1861 (= H. eremita) are discussed.
