The application of specific motor learning principles (MLPs) in treatment for developmental motor-based articulation disorder in children has not been reported to date. The aims were to determine treatment effects of a novel hybrid intervention approach for a single participant with motor-based articulation disorder, and to examine the role of specific MLP, namely blocked versus serial practice schedules, in performance, generalization, and maintenance of speech skills. Results suggested that the novel hybrid treatment approach produced measurable gains in most instances. However, there were no systematic differences between the different practice schedules. Possible reasons for these specific treatment and generalization effects were explored.

The outbreak of coronavirus disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is declared pandemic by World Health Organization (WHO) keeping in view its infection rate and toxicity level. The entire world is struggling hard to survive the prevailing health emergency. The authors realise the urgent need of contributing an overview of the present scenario to the researchers who are breathlessly trying to combat this pandemic situation. This review aimed at binding all the scattered data and research available till now on COVID-19 disease starting from its origin to transmission and spread through environmental factors till treatment and the safety measures that should be implemented. This article would possibly help the readers by providing an outlook of current scenario on various perspectives of COVID-19 disease at a single glance. The types, origin and toxicity caused are discussed in brief. The role of contaminated aerosols (viral-laden smoke from tobacco, cigarettes), wastewater, fomites, human and faecal matter are important in spreading the novel coronavirus in the environment. There is no specific treatment till date but clinical trials and diagnosis on several known drugs are on-going. The precaution and safety measures could hopefully reduce number of infections and mortality. The number of infected cases confirmed till 2 August 2020 was 17660523 with 680894 deaths in the world. We tried in this review article to summarize the scattered data available on biochemistry of SARS-CoV-2, environmental spread of virus and the safety measures to combat COVID-19 pandemic.

Coronavirus is present everywhere on earth. Humans get the infection of this in late fall, winter and early spring. Horseshoe bat is considered as the repository of CoV. This virus affects the respiratory tract. The disruption may vary. It may be mild, or it may grow fatal. The whole world is baffled over the issue, for, there isn't a specific treatment prescribed in any of the novel systems of medicines. Many types of research are being carried out in all modes of cure. This study aims at immune-booster therapy drugs which can elevate the immunity level in human beings. The drug is in a Rasāyana form with haritaki, pippali andAagastya as its chief compositions. The Rasāyana can keep any infectious virus or bacteria at bay. If anyone gets infect,ed it can rejuvenate their cells and tissues rapid,ly thus enhancing their immunity. The Ministry of AYUSH is making a kwath preparation for covid 19 aa preventative medicine for coronavirus. It includes some drugs like pippali which act as antipyreti.There are some āyurvedic immun-ty boosting measures which can be followed daily. It is useful for al age groups. weour is to understand the role of Rasyana dravyas and to find review outcome of Rasayana therapy in COVID – 19. Ayurvedic Scriptures, Scientific journals, Internet websites and published article have been used as materials for the purpose. A response evocation program, some principles underlying its development and administration, and a review of some clinical experiences with the program are presented. Sixty-five children with developmental articulation errors of the /ɝ/ phoneme were administered the program by one of 19 clinicians. Approximately 70% of program administrations resulted in a child emitting a good /ɝ/ within six minutes. Approximately 10% of children who were given additional training on program step failures emitted good /ɝ/'s in subsequent sessions. These preliminary observations are discussed in relation to the role of task analysis and motor skills learning principles in response evocation, clinician influences in program outcomes, and professional issues in service delivery to children with developmental articulation errors.

This chapter analyzes the role of fashion as a discursive force in Rosamond Lehmann’s 1932 coming-of-age novel Invitation to the Waltz. Reading the novel alongside such fashion magazines as Vogue, it demonstrates Lehmann’s awareness that 1920s fashion, in spite of its carefully stylized public image as harbinger of originality, emphasized the importance of following preconceived (dress) patterns in the successful construction of modern feminine types. Invitation to the Waltz, it argues, opposes the production of patterned types and celebrates difference and disobedience in its stead. At the same time, the novel’s formal appearance is nonetheless dependent on the very same tenets it criticizes. On closer scrutiny, it is seen to reveal its resemblance to Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse (1927). A tension between imitation and originality determines sartorial fashion choices. This chapter shows that female authorship in the inter-war period was subjected to the same market forces that controlled and sustained the organization of the fashion industry.

SARS-COV2 virus causes Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and represents the causative agent of a potentially fatal disease that is of great global public health concern. The novel coronavirus (2019) was discovered in 2019 in Wuhan, the market of the wet animal, China with viral pneumonia cases and is life-threatening. Today, WHO announces COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. COVID-19 is likely to be zoonotic. It is transmitted from bats as intermediary animals to human. Also, the virus is transmitted from human to human who is in close contact with others. The computerized tomographic chest scan is usually abnormal even in those with no symptoms or mild disease. Treatment is nearly supportive; the role of antiviral agents is yet to be established. The SARS-COV2 virus spreads faster than its two ancestors, the SARS-CoV and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), but has lower fatality. In this article, we aimed to summarize the transmission, symptoms, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and vaccine to control the spread of this fatal disease.
