An aided visual inspection workstation was ergonomically redesigned according to company economic constraints. Predesign research included observational analysis, task analysis and experimentation. The previous poor posture was eliminated by reducing a required 45° angle of the head. This involved supporting the elbows with a flexible mechanism. Workplace aids and a documented training program complimented the entire design effort.

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the Define stage in the development of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) -based learning devices to improve students' higher order thinking skills. The learning device development model used is the four D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The Define stage is carried out to define and define learning requirements. The steps that have been taken at the Define stage are front end analysis, student analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and formulation of learning objectives. The results of the research for needs analysis are a description of the competencies that students must have after taking physics lectures, the learning approach used is based on STEM, the profile of graduates to answer future challenges and demands. The results of research for student analysis are descriptions of student characteristics which include reasoning abilities, background knowledge, and levels of student cognitive development. The results of research for task analysis are in the form of module position maps. The results of the research for concept analysis are in the form of a concept map about oscillations. The results of the study for the formulation of learning objectives were a description of the competencies consisting of attitudes, knowledge and skills. The conclusion from this research is that the Define Stage has been completed so that the development stage of learning devices can be carried out to the next stage, namely the Design stage

This study aims to produce a calculus module using geogebra software on limits, derivatives, and integrals. This research uses the 4D Thiagarajan development. This method is modified into 3D, thats define, design, and development. This research begins with a need’s analysis covering student analysis, material analysis, task analysis, analysis of the formulation of learning objectives. The results of the needs analysis that the calculus module using geogebra applications needs to be developed. Based on the results of the student and teacher questionnaire responses said the module developed was very good with a value of 81%.

Using 40 Ss the relative effectiveness of intuitive and analytical problem solving was determined as a function of creativity and task complexity. A three-way analysis of variance yielded a significant three-way interaction between thinking mode (intuition or analysis), task complexity, and creativity (as measured by the Barron-Welsh Art Scale). More creative Ss found intuition more effective for a complex task, analysis on the simple task; this relation was reversed for the less creative Ss.

Eleven instrumentations professional was integrated to measuring & control technology and instrumentation specialties in 1998, and its professional connotation is widely. During the elite education transformation to mass education, how to change education idea and cultivating talents are the most important. Discipline superiority had been fully utilized to outstanding "pipeline inner detection technology "and "visual inspection technology" characteristic and the detection technology was used as the core features. A series of reforms has been processing from course system refined to the specialty profession construction and students' practical ability training in order to form the professional characteristics.

Primary care medical practice is in a period of transformational change. Practices have limited capacity to cope with this transformation. Thousands of practices require support, and any intervention must both scale to that level and be usable by practices with limited change capacity. Various organizations train practice facilitators (PFs) to help with this transformation. We developed a training program for PFs to learn the basics of cognitive task analysis (CTA) to analyze and advise practices and to help them transform by improving macrocognitive functions. The training program comprised preparatory readings and 14 hr of didactic sessions and guided exercises over 2 days. That preparation was followed by a three-interview progression under actual field conditions: seconding for an experienced lead interviewer, leading with an experience interviewer as second, and leading with another PF as second. The data collection, analysis, and reporting are highly structured, tailored to the constraints of primary care, and scalable. Early experience with practices in Alberta indicates the resulting CTA reports to have significant impact. PFs have spontaneously transferred their use of CTA skills to other areas of their facilitation work.

Kata kunci: perangkat trigonometri, strategi inkuiri, model kooperatif tipe STAD   DEVELOPING AN INQUIRY MODEL-BASED TRIGONOMETRY TEACHING KIT USING STAD METHOD   Abstract The aim of this study is to produce an inquiry model-based trigonometry teaching kit using STAD method of cooperative learning which is  valid, practical, and effective in terms of students’ mathematics achievement and  communication skills. This is a research and development study (R & D), which consisted of a 4-D development model  by Thiangarajan, Semmel and Semmel. The development process started with front-end analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, specifying of objectives analysis, media selection,  format selection, product design, validators’ and practitioners’ evaluations, small scale try-out, and the field test. There were a total of 67 subjects used for the study which consisted of nine students for the small try-out and 58 students for the field test. The subjects were year 10 students of Bernas Senior High School in the region of Pelalawan, Riau. The results reveal that the developed product is valid, practical, and effective in terms of students’ mathematics achievement and  communication skills to be used as a learning resource. Keywords: inquiry strategies, trigonometry, model STAD cooperative
