The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the Define stage in the development of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) -based learning devices to improve students' higher order thinking skills. The learning device development model used is the four D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The Define stage is carried out to define and define learning requirements. The steps that have been taken at the Define stage are front end analysis, student analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and formulation of learning objectives. The results of the research for needs analysis are a description of the competencies that students must have after taking physics lectures, the learning approach used is based on STEM, the profile of graduates to answer future challenges and demands. The results of research for student analysis are descriptions of student characteristics which include reasoning abilities, background knowledge, and levels of student cognitive development. The results of research for task analysis are in the form of module position maps. The results of the research for concept analysis are in the form of a concept map about oscillations. The results of the study for the formulation of learning objectives were a description of the competencies consisting of attitudes, knowledge and skills. The conclusion from this research is that the Define Stage has been completed so that the development stage of learning devices can be carried out to the next stage, namely the Design stage

This research aims to produce comic-based LKPD comic products on the subject of social arithmetic and how to develop comic-based LKPD to be effective. This research uses research method of development of Thiagarajan-4D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely definition, design, development and dissemination. This study begins from a preliminary study in the form of needs analysis consisting of learner analysis, material analysis and task analysis. Preliminary study results indicate the need for the development of comic-based LKPD on the subject of social arithmetic. The development of worksheet based  comic begins with arranging worksheet design and all components based on guidance of worksheet preparation in the form of draft 1. The draft 1 has been compiled and then validated by expert to produce draft 2. The validation result indicates that worksheet has fulfilled the content and design feasibility standard. The draft 1 is then refined to produce draft 2 and tested to several learners called a limited trial. The results of a limited trial show that worksheet is included in either category.

Educational play tools (APE) have become a necessity during AUD learning because they are full of educational materials that can be adapted to their growth. This development research aims to produce a product in the form of a ladder snake APE in improving the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years in the fields of science and mathematics at RA Mafatihul Ulum, Serang City, Banten Province. This type of research involves using a number of methods and types of research and going through various stages of research sessions, so each session is carried out to achieve its respective objectives. The Four-D Model development model suggested by Sivasailam This model consists of 4 development stages, namely; Define (defining), Design (Design), Develop (development) and Disseminate (deployment). The definition stage offered in the 4D model consists of several stages of analysis, namely curriculum analysis, needs analysis, student analysis, concept analysis, task analysis and formulation of learning objectives

School of Communication (Sekom) is a place for educational institutions of the Indonesian Navy'sNational Army which has the duty to educate and prepare human resources in the field of communication. In providing Morse gesture learning material, the instructors still use the media in the form of a Morseknock tool manually, the news is received and recorded by other students with a sheet of paper or abook. There are ideas or ideas from the author to combine the Morse signal method using computermedia in its implementation. The design of this study was carried out to provide an overview of thesystem to be created. The flow of news delivery is news that is processed in the server and then sentusing the computer as a server automatically so that it will come out in the form of morse audio after theprocess begins and then is received by students using a computer as a client and the results of studentanswers will be automatically saved into the server, after saving the teacher can retrieve the resultsdirectly typing students who automatically have a value that is managed in the server. The assessmentsystem is automatically processed in the server by means of a comparison between the news sent by theteacher with the results typed by students. Keywords: Morse, Server and client.

The present study is a Type 1 design and developmental research (DDR) study that aims to analyse the situation, design, develop and evaluate an instructional Place-Based Process Genre Module (PBPGM). Upon completing the needs analysis, design and development of the module, it underwent a pilot test. The validity and reliability were then conducted. A panel of experts were involved in determining the validity of the module's content, sessions, and activities. A group of 30 ESL learners were involved in determining its reliability. All content, sessions and activities were rated above 70%, and all sessions and activities were rated over alpha value of 0.70 indicating that PBPGM was valid and reliable to be experimented with.

The aim of this study to development of materials teaching writing text drama based on problems that happened in 9th of grade Students of Methodist Medan.  The reason for choosing this school student at Methodist Senior High School 12 Medan was because it had all the supporting aspects so that the research could run well. This study was conducted on July2019. The result is students who scored 65-74 were 2 with a percentage of 7%, at 55-64 there were 1 2 people with a percentage of 40 % and at 0-54 as many as 16 people with a percentage of 53%. In the posttest score increased better learning outcomes around 85-100 scores by 2 with a percentage of 7 %, 75-84 scores by 2 2 with a percentage of 73 %, a value of 65-74 by 6 with a percentage of 20 % . So, the final results of the needs analysis showed that 100% of teachers and students of Medan Methodist 12 High School needed a companion module in learning Indonesian.

This research is motivated by the attitudes of class X SMA / MA students who are still adjusting to the new learning environment and not many students have studied Arabic so that students experience learning difficulties, especially in learning Arabic listening skills. This causes some students to lack a sense of responsibility for the learning material so that students do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation. Therefore, the development of learning methods for Arabic listening skills based on cooperative jigsaw type for class X SMA / MA students is needed so that students can have a sense of responsibility for their learning and that of others so that the learning objectives will be achieved properly. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a research and development design (Research and Development). The results of this study are as follows. First, teachers and students want the development of a jigsaw-type cooperative method for Arabic listening skills for class X SMA / MA. Second, the prototype of this method contains the background, assumptions, characteristics of the method, KI, KD, and indicators of Arabic listening skills for class X SMA / MA odd semester, learning steps, evaluation, and assessment criteria. Third, the assessment on the feasibility aspect of the presentation got a value of 44.5, the audio feasibility aspect got a value of 12.75, and the aspect of the feasibility of the method got a value of 30.75. The overall value of the aspects of this learning method is 88 in the very feasible category so that it can be used for learning Arabic listening skills for class X SMA / MA.

Using 40 Ss the relative effectiveness of intuitive and analytical problem solving was determined as a function of creativity and task complexity. A three-way analysis of variance yielded a significant three-way interaction between thinking mode (intuition or analysis), task complexity, and creativity (as measured by the Barron-Welsh Art Scale). More creative Ss found intuition more effective for a complex task, analysis on the simple task; this relation was reversed for the less creative Ss.

An aided visual inspection workstation was ergonomically redesigned according to company economic constraints. Predesign research included observational analysis, task analysis and experimentation. The previous poor posture was eliminated by reducing a required 45° angle of the head. This involved supporting the elbows with a flexible mechanism. Workplace aids and a documented training program complimented the entire design effort.
