In recent years vast quantities of data have been managed in various ways of medical applications and multiple organizations worldwide have developed this type of data and, together, these heterogeneous data are called big data. Data with other characteristics, quantity, speed and variety are the word big data. The healthcare sector has faced the need to handle the large data from different sources, renowned for generating large amounts of heterogeneous data. We can use the Big Data analysis to make proper decision in the health system by tweaking some of the current machine learning algorithms. If we have a large amount of knowledge that we want to predict or identify patterns, master learning would be the way forward. In this article, a brief overview of the Big Data, functionality and ways of Big data analytics are presented, which play an important role and affect healthcare information technology significantly. Within this paper we have presented a comparative study of algorithms for machine learning. We need to make effective use of all the current machine learning algorithms to anticipate accurate outcomes in the world of nursing.

AbstractAdvances in mobile phone technology and social media have created a world where the volume of information generated and shared is outpacing the ability of humans to review and use that data. Machine learning (ML) models and “big data” analytical tools have the power to ease that burden by making sense of this information and providing insights that might not otherwise exist. In the context of international criminal and human rights law, ML is being used for a variety of purposes, including to uncover mass graves in Mexico, find evidence of homes and schools destroyed in Darfur, detect fake videos and doctored evidence, predict the outcomes of judicial hearings at the European Court of Human Rights, and gather evidence of war crimes in Syria. ML models are also increasingly being incorporated by States into weapon systems in order to better enable targeting systems to distinguish between civilians, allied soldiers and enemy combatants or even inform decision-making for military attacks.The same technology, however, also comes with significant risks. ML models and big data analytics are highly susceptible to common human biases. As a result of these biases, ML models have the potential to reinforce and even accelerate existing racial, political or gender inequalities, and can also paint a misleading and distorted picture of the facts on the ground. This article discusses how common human biases can impact ML models and big data analytics, and examines what legal implications these biases can have under international criminal law and international humanitarian law.

In today’s world, an immense measure of information in the form of unstructured, semi-structured and unstructured is generated by different sources all over the world in a tremendous amount. Big data is the termed coined to address these enormous amounts of data. One of the major challenges in the health sector is handling a high-volume variety of data generated from diverse sources and utilizing it for the wellbeing of human. Like other fields, the healthcare sector has also been greatly impacted by big data. A huge volume of healthcare data and other related data are being continually generated from diverse sources. Tapping and analysing these data, suitably, would open up new avenues and opportunities for healthcare services. In view of that, this paper aims to present a systematic overview of big data and big data analytics, applicable to modern-day healthcare. Acknowledging the massive upsurge in healthcare data generation, various ‘V's, specific to healthcare big data, are identified. Different types of data analytics, applicable to healthcare, are discussed. Along with presenting the technological backbone of healthcare big data and analytics, the advantages and challenges of healthcare big data are meticulously explained. A brief report on the present and future market of healthcare big data and analytics is also presented. Besides, several applications and use cases are discussed with sufficient details.
