In buying a product, consumers usually decide to purchase through certain stages and consumers understand their needs. Consumers also get stimuli from other people’s opinions including for problem identification, information seeking, evaluation, and decision-making activities. This study aimed to analyze the attributes that affect consumer preferences in buying plaster sheet products of CV Anugrah Jaya Sentosa. The questions studied in this research were: What are the attributes that affect consumer preferences in buying plaster sheet products? What are the most critical attributes for consumers of CV Anugrah Jaya Sentosa plaster sheet products? The most important attribute was a product thickness of 12 mm with a special quality, then a layer of purchase of goods only and a layer of paint + stain that simplifies the work for finishing and produces maximum results. Keywords: ceiling products, quality, coating, thickness, purchase

During product platform life cycle, innovation problem identification and decision-making are regarded as vital issues in product platform evolution process. The Comprehensive Disturbance Degree is proposed and analyzed considering customer demand, technology status and production capacities, then existing problems of product platform are identified. According to Innovation Problem Selecting Principles, the innovation problem set Q is defined. The value of modules in product platform is calculated using Value Engineering, the module set M needed to be improved is determined. Then based upon the correlation degree analysis of the innovation problem set and the module set, Fuzzy Clustering Algorithms is advanced to classify innovation problems. Finally, a case study is given to illustrate the validity of the methodology.

Abstract Metacognitive aspects of decision-making processes were investigated in eight professional translators who translated related and unrelated texts from L2 English into L1 Portuguese and also from L1 into L2. Retrospective protocols were recorded after each translation task. Verbal utterances were classified into two categories (problem identification and prospective solution) and each one was divided into several subcategories. The data analyses evaluated metacognitive activities during decision-making processes. Results suggest that noteworthy differences between direct and inverse translation can be assessed via retrospective protocols and that translator performance and behavior might be closely related to the source text.

Standard psychiatric diagnoses (e.g., DSM-III—R) are compared with multimodal assessment and problem identification (i.e., BASIC I.D. formulations). Two case comparisons are presented as an heuristic to illustrate the way in which the multimodal framework promotes diagnostic precision and enhances clinical decision-making.

The decision-making activities include<br />problem identification, problem formulation, and alternative selection decisions based on calculations and the various impacts that may arise. In the stage of decision making implementation, the headmaster of the madrasah as a leader must make many routine decisions in order to control activities in accordance with the plans. While in control stage that includes monitoring,<br />inspection, and assessment of the implementation results was performed to evaluate the implementation of the decisions.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p><strong></strong><br />Hakikat pengambilan keputusan oleh kepala madrasah adalah tindakan dalam mengeluarkan keputusan yang bersifat taktis maupun operasional seperti memuat program yang ingin dicapai, strategi pelaksanaannya dan strategi pe-<br />mecahan masalah, melalui suatu keputusan yang didasarkan pada hasil pemilihan beberapa alternatif masalah yang telah ditetapkan untuk pencapaian<br />tujuan madrasah.
