This tutorial covers the basics of algorithmization and programming in Microsoft Visual Basic. The tutorial discusses the basics of algorithmization and programming in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), describes the action of linear, branching and cyclic structures. Much attention is paid to programming based on functions and procedures, processing one-dimensional and two-dimensional arrays, working with files. Examples of mathematical data processing, the use of spreadsheets for charting are given. In addition, the methods of creating macros, the principles of developing test programs based on various controls are considered. At the end of each Chapter there is a set of control questions and tasks.
