This paper elaborates on the development of elastic combined packing and an integrated device for treating domestic sewage aboard ships, analyzes the growth of combined packing microorganisms, the speed of membrane forming as well as the impact of raw water quality on membrane forming, and conducts a simulation experiment of treating domestic sewage by membrane bio-reactors. Researches show that elastic combined packing features high specific surface area and high speed of membrane forming and that this integrated domestic sewage treatment device performs well and can be widely applied.

PSTA BATAN (Center of Science and Accelerator Technology) has been developed the 13 MeV cyclotron named DECY-13 for producing radioisotope. That cyclotron has five subsystems and hasn’t established by communication standard protocol yet. In order to make cyclotron communicate effectively, this paper presented the design of data acquisition with OPC (OLE for Process Control) based standard protocol and it has established in DECY-13’s Instrumentation and Control System by case study method. We used Modbus TCP/IP architecture to make all of HMI from five subsystems building communication with each other to Server Computer (OPC Server). OPC Server and OPC Client has configured by NI OPC Server and NI LabVIEW. Data acquisition has monitored by LabVIEW. Configuration of the system for 13 MeV cyclotron and performance test result showed in RMSE value from Reflected Drive Amp Power is  13,94 %, Magnetic Field is 11,2 % ; Forward Final Amp Power is 5,24 % ; Forward Drive Amp Power is 1,98 % ; MPS current is 1,87 % ; Beam Current and A2 Sensor are 1,85 % ; B2 Sensor is 1,77 % ; Bias Current is 1,71%. Based on monitoring and test result, the design of DAQ system has succeeded and established  the communication from several different data types from subsystems with OPC protocol standard

A transmission test platform for performance analysis was designed based on 3-D modeling and simulation technology which were used to provide a theoretical comparison basis for the following experiments. Design of key part of the transmission system, such as couplings which were customized. Modeling of test platform was built to study the mechanical structure in theory. Static structure and modal analyses were carried out to evaluate the performance of planetary and worm gearing. Compare analysis results between planetary gear and worm gear reducer which include backlash and vibration phenomenon. At last, we make a conclusion that the planetary gear has less vibration and noise than the worm gear in this type of reducer in theory, and we will give some reasonable explanation.

Roof system failures are common during high wind events. In locations subject to high wind conditions, membrane roofing systems must typically be either physically attached or fully adhered to the substrate or ballast may be added to weigh down the membrane. An alternative to these installation approaches could be to use aerodynamics principles such as the Bernoulli and Venturi effects to create a low-pressure region beneath the membrane roof that is lower than the ambient pressure and thus counteracts the uplifting force. A new omnidirectional vent has been designed and tested that takes advantage of these aerodynamics principles to induce low pressure under the membrane layer. This new vent operates with no moving parts and was tested in the high-speed stability wind tunnel at Virginia Tech to wind speeds up to 233 km/h. The results demonstrate that this new vent generates pressures lower than the ambient when subjected to high wind conditions. This paper presents the design principles and performance test results for this new roof vent system and other applications for roof vent technologies.

Due to the simple structure, low inertia and the ability to operate for a long time under high-speed and high-temperature conditions, the induction motor is widely used in high-speed applications. Aiming at the most prominent loss and stress problems in high-speed induction motors, the use of low loss material and the choice of a reliable rotor structure are effective optimized methods. In this paper, the electromagnetic loss, stator temperature distribution and performance parameters of high-speed induction motor are analyzed with stator cores of different materials. In addition, for the different rotor structures, the mechanical stress is compared. Furthermore, the comparison and analysis are used to improve the motor performance and provide a reference for prototype development. A performance test of the prototype is conducted, which proves the validity of the study in this paper.

In this paper, a general aviation airborne conflict detection and resolution simulation system is designed and implemented. We do some researches and improvements on the conflict detection and resolution algorithm that is suitable for general aviation environment. Based on this, the core system software functional modules based on VxWorks are realized. In the end, simulation and test are carried out to prove the effectiveness of its functionality and performance. Test result shows that the system is stable and meets the simulation requirements.
