Every year the industry in the world is gaining momentum: the number of industrial enterprises is growing, and with it the number of accidents at them. Oil today is the most common product for the synthesis and production of products. Increasing the level of fire protection systems at oil refine¬ries remains one of the most important components of protecting people from technogenic hazards. The speed of innovation allows the application of artificial intelligence in the creation of automated fire protection systems. Research objective. This study is aimed at building a model of an automated integrated fire protection system (AISPPO).Through the synthesis of digital automata and minimizing the control functions of the digital model is created a system of automated integrated fire protection system. Materials and methods. To solve the problems of research used methods of constructing graphical algorithms of automated integrated fire protection system. This system is a new approach to solving the issue of safety of industrial facilities in the oil refining industry. Results. The proposed new model of the software implementation of a digital automaton in an automated integrated system of fire detection and monitoring of an oil refinery has made it possible to create a bank of calculated and analytical data on all potential types of failures in the structure of the enterprise in order to train personnel and make changes to existing methodological documents and instructions for personnel actions in a particular situation. Conclusion. The developed technology allows you to process the incoming signal contained in cyclograms into an intermediate form for the synthesis of digital automata using innovative tools.

The paper qualitatively and quantitatively analyzes a multi-state water supply subsystem in one fire protection system using stated analysis technique of GO Methodology. All states and probabilities of components are obtained, as well as minimal cut sets and the probabilities of them under failure states. The results prove to be effective for analyzing reliability of repairable systems with the stated analysis technique of GO methodology.

Hotel is a public living facility for tourists by providing room services, food and beverage providers, and accommodation with payment terms. Fire is a flame, both small and large, which is usually hard to control and detrimental and can occur in a place that we do not expect. Ensuring the protection of hotel residents is one of the goals of hotel business standards. Grand Kanaya Hotel is a 3-star hotel building in the city of Medan, with 152 units of rooms and several facilities that enable activities involving large numbers of people, such as restaurants and ballrooms. According to the quite high number of occupants, Grand Kanaya Hotel requires a fire protection system that can protect all hotel residents against fire hazards. The study aims to evaluate the fire protection system that has been applied to the building of the Grand Kanaya Hotel and provide references for fire protection systems that are standard in hotel buildings. This research is using the qualitative method that obtains from field observation and uses a type of descriptive research that explains the facts or existing conditions of fire protection systems in the Grand Kanaya Hotel building. The results show that there are several fire protection systems in Grand Kanaya Hotels that not according to the standards, such as the minimum size, the material used is not resistant to fire, and maximum distance lies, which still exceeds the maximum value. The study results are useful as information for other researchers and hotels regarding fire protection systems at the Grand Kanaya Hotel building.

Stabile systems for fire protection present very important and powerful way for fire protection. The realization of these protection systems can be on different ways and with different fire extinguishers. Fire extinguishers that can be used in these protection systems are water, CO2, dust, foam, inergen, halon or some "new fire extinguishers". The biggest meaning of these systems usage is in the fact that they can be used in cases of human or fire fighters absence, in cases when is important to "cover" large space or volume, in cases where problems and difficulties with fire mobile equipment exist, in cases when fire extinguishers quantity can be small etc. The way of realization of these systems depend from many different factors. This paper was written to present the stabile systems for fire protection with CO2 extinguishers and FDS computer simulation of extinguishing with this kind of stabile fire protection system.

Evaluation of a passive fire protection system is an effort to find out how feasible a fire protection system is in a building. One of the main problems arising from fire hazards in mall buildings is fire protection systems that do not meet standards. This study aims to analyze the building fire protection system, with the Sun Plaza Medan case study with a total of six floors and one basement, and located in the city center. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative and quantitative, with a variable observation stage which is then carried out by a comparison process using the Analytical Hierarchy Process. This AHP method is helpful for researchers to get the results needed. Evaluation results obtained at shopping centers (case studies: Sun Plaza Medan) can be categorized as good, although several components do not meet the standards. Several recommendations were made for changes by testing, to obtain an increase in the value of the reliability of the passive fire protection system in the case study.
