This study visually presents bibliometric analyses for quantitative, qualitative and mixed empirical consumer behaviour research on COVID-19 published in various leading research journals with Scopus, ESCI and/or SSCI indexes in 2020 and 2021. For this aim, bibliometric analyzes of 50 studies selected for this study were performed using the VOSviewer software. According to the results obtained from the study, it was observed that primarily multi-author empirical studies were conducted at the national or global level regarding the changing consumer behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the studies conducted by the researchers, consumer behaviours were evaluated multidimensionally by using different theoretical models. For this, data were collected from consumers with other demographic characteristics by various methods and different analysis methods were used to analyse the collected data. The study provides implications as well as directions for future studies.

A visual transcript map of six genes was constructed on the chromosome 21q22.3 by high resolution fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Expressed sequence tags (ESTs) from six genes—PWP2, KNP1, AIRE, C21orf3,SMT3A, and C21orf1—were successfully localized by fiber–FISH by use of sensitive tyramide-based detection. The sizes of the ESTs varied between 315 to 956 bp and most of them map within the 3′-untranslated region. The ESTs were assigned to and subsequently ordered within cosmid, PAC, and BAC clones hybridized on DNA fibers. Physical distances between ESTs and known markers were determined. Our results demonstrate the feasibility and accuracy of visual mapping EST sequences in relation to known markers. The main advantage of this approach is that it can be applied to finely map any of the database ESTs for positional cloning efforts. The sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility of this high-resolution EST mapping technique is evaluated.

Abstract Nowadays, the transformations of metropolises into smart cities is a crucial factor in improving the living conditions of the inhabitants. The goal of the smart city concept is modern urban management using technical tools that offer state-of-the-art technologies, considering the applicable ecological standards while saving resources and achieving the expected results. The purpose of this article is to identify the areas of research analysed in the international literature in the field of smart cities. The bibliometric analysis was carried out to achieve the purpose. The analysis covered publications on smart cities published in Scopus and Web of Science databases from January 2009 to May 2019. Based on the bibliometric analysis, a bibliometric map was developed using the mapping technique VOS — the visualisation of similarities. Original clusters were created using the VOSviewer software. The bibliometric map visualises the results of the analysis that targeted the word coexistence.
