One of the main factors that help to create a powerful brand is investment and improving the quality of services. Nowadays, the competition for improving the quality of services is raised as a key strategic issue for organizations that operate in the services sector. The aim of this research is to investigate how the dimensions of service quality affect the brand equity in the fast food industry. The customers of fast food industry (Restaurant Raphael) in Boushehr constitute the statistical population of this research. Given that the statistical population is unlimited, through sampling 390 questionnaires were distributed, collected and analyzed. For analyzing the data, the structural equations modelling was used by help of the software smart PLS. The results show that the entire dimensions of service quality of model SERVQUAL (tangible factors of services, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy) have a positive and significant impact on the brand equity. It also became clear that among the five dimensions of quality of services, the tangible factors of services have the most impact on the brand equity in the fast food industry. So implementing the programs to enhance the quality of services will have to a very large extent a positive effect on increasing the brand equity in the fast food industry.

The high demand from customers for quality services and competitive environment in the fast food industry give rise to the need to improve customers’ satisfaction that will increase the restaurant’s revenue. The objective of this study is to investigate the factors effecting customers’ satisfaction in fast food restaurants namely the price, service quality, and food quality of fast food restaurants in Arau, Perlis. The fast food restaurants selected for this study are Marry Brown, KFC, Pizza Hut and Domino's Pizza. A quantitative method was applied using online questionnaire to collect data from customers. The respondents consisted of customers who had experienced purchasing at these fast food restaurants. The findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between customers’ satisfaction and the price of the foods. However, the study indicated insignificant relationships between food quality, service quality of fast food businesses and customers’ satisfaction. For future studies, it is recommended that the study area is expanded to involve various samples of the population, for broader results. To obtain more precise and reliable results, a similar study considering other factors that influence customer satisfaction in fast food restaurants could be added as variables.

This study aims to measure and analyze the effect of several restaurant-related quality attributes toward customer loyalty with a mediating effect from customer satisfaction in the local fast-food industry in Indonesia. The nature of local fast-food industry is different compared to its global counterpart, so a new perspective has to be taken into account. Based on literature review of previous studies, the quality attributes that are selected for this study are food quality, service quality, environment, price, and location. Data in this study were collected from the responses of 461 participants and analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The SEM result shows that only price and location significantly affect customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. When customer satisfaction is removed and restaurant-related quality attributes is directly tested towards customer loyalty, only price and food quality significantly affect customer loyalty. Both with and without mediating effect from customer satisfaction, price keeps influencing customer loyalty. This result is against the majority of fast-food customer loyalty studies which usually emphasize on food or service quality as the main factor that influences customer loyalty and customer satisfaction.

<p>In fast-food industry, food quality and safety become pre-requisite to launch a fast-food restaurant. Thus, the players in this industry offer similar quality of food. This has caused a shift of the focus of competition in the industry from competing in the quality of product to the quality of human resources in serving customers. The aim of this study is to find out whether service quality, product, and satisfaction have any impact on customer loyalty. The study surveyed 30 respondents in the pre-testing and 170 respondents in actual data testing. SmartPLS3.2 software was used to process data, that was collected using questionnaire. Data processing was conducted using validity test, reliability test, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The test revealed that Service Quality is indeed an important variable to affect Customer Loyalty. This study aims to analyze the level of service quality and prioritize improvements. The method that used in this study is service quality (SERVQUAL) combined with fuzzy concepts to find out the gap between expectations and consumer perceptions through five dimensions namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Fuzzy concepts are used to present uncertainties over respondents' assessment of subjective questionnaires. To determine the priority of improvement, used the Customer Value Index Potential Gains (IPGCV) method. Based on processing data results by using fuzzy-servqual method, it is known that the Tangible dimension has a gap of -0.13, the Reliability dimension has a gap of -0.13, the Responsive dimension has a gap of -0.14, the dimension of Assurance has a gap of -0.12, Empathy dimension has a gap of -0.11. The negative value on fuzzy-servqual assessment can be interpreted that the overall service has not met customer expectations. Achievement of the quality level is equal to 0.8606 which is indicates the quality of services still need improvement because the level of service quality is less than 1 (Q <1). Based on calculation using the PGCV Index, it is known that services which have the highest priority are employees who have adequate support from their institutions so that they can carry out their duties properl
