A literature review and fresh evidence are presented on economic motives for migration and barriers to moving. Given urban income opportunities, higher rural incomes are shown to deter decisions to move from countryside to town. Rural-urban migrants enjoy substantial gains on average, though selection into migration is estimated to be negative on unobserved traits and skills. Those who do not move forego substantial, potential gains. Ethnolinguistic minorities, those living at greater distances from cities, and the socially disadvantaged with lower levels of schooling forego the most. Thus, very real barriers to migrating arise for these populations, though it remains unclear to what extent the constraints are financial, discomfort with the prospects of urban life, or concern to be near kith and kin. However, the amount of potential gain to nonmigrants does not decline at higher income levels of countries, suggesting financial barriers may not be paramount.

AbstractThe past decade has witnessed remarkable progress in the device efficiency of quantum dot light-emitting diodes based on the framework of organic-inorganic hybrid device structure. The striking improvement notwithstanding, the following conundrum remains underexplored: state-of-the-art devices with seemingly unfavorable energy landscape exhibit barrierless hole injection initiated even at sub-band gap voltages. Here, we unravel that the cause of barrierless hole injection stems from the Fermi level alignment derived by the surface states. The reorganized energy landscape provides macroscopic electrostatic potential gain to promote hole injection to quantum dots. The energy level alignment surpasses the Coulombic attraction induced by a charge employed in quantum dots which adjust the local carrier injection barrier of opposite charges by a relatively small margin. Our finding elucidates how quantum dots accommodate barrierless carrier injection and paves the way to a generalized design principle for efficient electroluminescent devices employing nanocrystal emitters.

the last decade has witnessed the birth of technological advances such as the IoT, artificial intelligence, machine learning and augmented reality. These technologies have driven the transition to Industry 4.0 where they have enabled the digitization of manufacturing with potential gain. Also Industry 4.0 has given birth to several new hybrid concepts as well as several management operations to take advantage and become more efficient by using IoT and these new technologies. In our paper, we discuss the effect of Industry 4.0 on management and quality practices by answering the following questions based on the literature review: What is the positive effect of Industry 4.0 on quality improvement and operations management? How does Industry 4.0 integrate concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, Supply Chain ...) to create new paradigms?

Abstract: The original aim of the research was to investigate the conceptual dimensions of cloud security threats and vulnerabilities. Cloud computing has changed the whole picture from centralized (client-server not web-based) to distributed systems and now we are getting back to virtual centralization (cloud computing). Although potential gain achieved from cloud computing but still model security is questionable. . The cloud computing concept offers dynamically scalable resources and so it uses internet as a communication media. This paper proposes survey on emerging threats of cloud and also discussed the existing threat report and their remediation. The result and analysis show that solution of this work will be helpful in summarizing the main security risks of cloud computing from different organizations. Keywords: Threat, vulnerabilities, model security.

UD PT. Tri Adi Bersama is a technology-based shipping service company known as Anteraja and sends packages by courier called Satria. This company is a supporter of Tokopedia's ecommers and will expand to other marketplaces. Currently, staging stores exist throughout Indonesia, except Papua. In the world of expedition or competing services from various companies, there are so many companies, but from all of that companies must think creatively in the services they provide to customers or consumers, companies must compete - competing for creativity in program problems that they will apply in their promotional system. Other online services have also been rampant in the general public and for competitors they also have promo programs and express facilities have tough challenges compared to other services which are only in the form of dropship services in staging areas. The Pick Up service is a service that is featured from the expedition of the Triputra group with a specified pick-up period, so the shiper or what can be called the shop owner can control and manage delivery schedules without being confused about delays in delivery The purpose of this research is to obtain complaint data to evaluate the level of customer satisfaction so that it can be used as a benchmark for companies in improving their service systems to customers using the CSI and PGCV methods.

To boost economic growth, SAARC countries resorted to trade liberalization policies since mid-1980s, therefore, now it is high time to evaluate the outcomes of this outward-oriented trade regime. Available literature confined the potential gain with the trading country’s status of the financial sector development. This study therefore empirically investigates the complementarity between domestic financial sector and trade openness for its growth effectiveness in the case of SAARC region. The empirical analysis basis upon the panel of six SAARC countries, using panel co-integration technique for the period 1980-2014. The empirical estimates of FMOLS and DOLS indicate that countries holding relatively developed domestic financial sectors enjoy larger gains from trade openness, which finally translates into economic progress. To be exact, the country’s domestic financial sector plays a complementary role between openness and growth in SAARC countries. Results hence suggest that SAARC countries need to lay higher emphasis on the development of the domestic financial sector.
