Introduction: The organizational citizenship behavior in hospitals is of great importance since it enhances positive relationships between employees and their involvement in organizational activities. On the other hand, culture is one of the main and major components of the organization, which has a direct effect on promoting the organization's activities. In this regard, rich Islamic culture with its pure concepts has a great role in shaping and refining people's behaviors. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Islamic culture on organizational citizenship behavior among nurses in hospitals of Yazd University of Medical Sciences. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 264 staff of the selected hospitals affiliated with Yazd University of Medical Sciences was selected using two-stage sampling method. The data collection tool was a valid and reliable questionnaire consisting of three sections: demographic information, a 22-item organizational citizenship behavior questionnaire with 5 dimensions, and the Islamic culture questionnaire, which should be answered using a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and SmartPLS software. Results: Among the dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior, the highest mean and standard deviation were related to conscientiousness dimension (3.10±0.69). The total mean and standard deviation was calculated as 2.99±0.57 for the component of organizational citizenship behavior. The mean and standard deviation of Islamic culture was 2.89±0.53. According to the data analysis algorithm in PLS method, by examining the significant coefficients of t for each path, Islamic culture had significant effect on all components of the organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: Considering the impact of Islamic culture on organizational citizenship behavior, various cultural programs such as cultural training courses, cultural seminars, and cultural events are suggested to promote Islamic culture in hospitals

Aims The present research was conducted in 2017-2018 with an aim to determin the relationship of participatory management style with Organizational Citizenship Behavior and organizational commitment of nurses in hospitals affiliated with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Methods & Materials The present research was a descriptive-correlational applied study. The statistical population of the study included all nurses working in hospitals affiliated with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and it was comprised of 3538 members. A one-step cluster sampling was used in the present research. Using Cochran formula, 347 members of this community were selected as samples. In order to collect data, standard participatory management (Choopani), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Organ and Konovsky), and organizational commitment (Allen and Meyer) questionnaires were used. Cronbach’s Alpha showed that the values for reliability of the three questionnaire were 0.902, 0.7140 and 0.795, respectively. The validities of the three questionnaires were confirmed by content validity and construct validity. SPSS18 and LISREL software were used to analyze the data. Findings The findings of the research showed that the relationship between participatory management style and organizational citizenship behavior was positive and significant (P=0.62), and the relationship between participatory management style and organizational commitment was also positive and significant (p=0.48). Considering the value of path coefficient, it was concluded that politeness dimension and respect dimension of organizational citizenship behavior (P=0.65) and emotional commitment dimension (P=0.53) have the most intense relationships with participatory management style. Conclusion The final results of the research suggested that participatory management was in a significant positive relationship with all dimensions of citizenship behavior an also, with the three dimensions of organizational commitment. therefore, it is recommended that the managers of treatment and healthcare centers adopt participatory management style.

Zusammenfassung: Einer größeren Lehrerstichprobe (N = 434), die hinsichtlich verschiedener demographischer Merkmale heterogen ist, wird der AVEM (Arbeitsbezogenes Verhaltens- und Erlebensmuster; Schaarschmidt & Fischer, 1996 , 1997 ) vorgelegt. Als Kriteriumsvariablen werden körperliche Beschwerden, Fehltage, berufliche Belastungen, Pensionierungsabsichten sowie Organizational Citizenship Behavior ( Organ, 1988 ) erfragt. Teilstichproben beantworten zusätzlich Skalen zu Copingverhalten, Sozialer Unterstützung, Kompetenzerwartung sowie eine an den Lehrerberuf adaptierte Version des Job Diagnostic Survey ( Hackman & Oldham, 1980 ). Faktoren- und Reliabilitätsanalysen replizieren die Ergebnisse von Schaarschmidt und Fischer. Eine Clusteranalyse ergibt vier Muster, von denen drei Muster der von Schaarschmidt und Fischer postulierten Einteilung entsprechen; ein viertes Muster weicht von dieser Klassifikation ab. Eine zweite Studie mit N = 283 Lehrerinnen und Lehrern kann die Lösung der ersten Clusteranalyse replizieren. Die Zusammenhänge belegen insgesamt eine gute konvergente, diskriminante und Kriteriumsvalidität und weisen den AVEM als brauchbares Messinstrument zur Analyse von Belastung und Beanspruchung im Lehrerberuf aus.

Abstract. The current paper presents the development and validation of a unit-level Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) scale based on the Referent-Shift Consensus Model (RSCM). In Study 1, with 124 individuals measured twice, both an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and a Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) established and confirmed a five-factor solution (helping behavior, sportsmanship, loyalty, civic virtue, and conscientiousness). Test–retest reliabilities at a 2-month interval were high (between .59 and .79 for the subscales, .83 for the total scale). In Study 2, unit-level OCB was analyzed in a sample of 129 work teams. Both Interrater Reliability (IRR) measures and Interrater Agreement (IRA) values provided support for RSCM requirements. Finally, unit-level OCB was associated with group task interdependence and was more predictable (by job satisfaction and integrity of the supervisor) than individual-level OCB in previous research.

Abstract. There is a trend to view workplace relationships through the lens of attachment theory. We developed and validated a 7-item Organizational Attachment Scale (OAS). In Study 1, we recruited 957 participants, who filled out study materials at three separate times. The OAS preserved the two-factor solution in traditional attachment measures – anxious attachment and avoidant attachment – and was invariant across time. In Study 2, we recruited 400 participants who completed the OAS in addition to several other surveys. The OAS was conceptually unique from Richards and Schat’s (2011) Co-Worker Attachment Scale (CWAS). The OAS incrementally predicted organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and organizational identity beyond the CWAS. Additionally, the OAS incrementally predicted organizational citizenship behavior and counterproductive work behavior beyond the CWAS.
