We provide the theorem that is connected with functional method of G.F. Voronoi. We establish sufficient conditions for a function that generates the summation method of G.F. Voronoi, on function-multiplier, and on function $f(t)$, under which the Fourier integral of this function with multiplier is absolutely summable by the functional method of G.F. Voronoi.

We obtain the conditions for function that generates functional method and for the multiplier $\mu(y)$ that are sufficient for absolute summability of$$\int\limits_0^{\infty} \mu (y) B(y, t) dy$$where $\int\limits_0^{\infty} B(y, t) dy$ is the Fourier integral of a function $f(t) \in L_{(-\infty, \infty)}$.

Shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks (SICNNs) are considered with the introduction of continuously distributed delays in the leakage (or forgetting) terms. By using the Lyapunov functional method and differential inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions for the existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solutions are established. Our results complement with some recent ones.

SynopsisA uniform asymptotic expansion of the Laplace integrals ℒ(f, s) with explicit remainder terms is given. This expansion is valid in the whole complex s−plane. In particular, for s = −ix, it provides the Fourier integral expansion.

We investigate a class of fuzzy neural networks with Hebbian-type unsupervised learning on time scales. By using Lyapunov functional method, some new sufficient conditions are derived to ensure learning dynamics and exponential stability of fuzzy networks on time scales. Our results are general and can include continuous-time learning-based fuzzy networks and corresponding discrete-time analogues. Moreover, our results reveal some new learning behavior of fuzzy synapses on time scales which are seldom discussed in the literature.

In order to effectively improve the equipment maintenance material procurement management efficiency, improve economic efficiency of using the procurement funds, strengthen mathematical theory applications in the area of procurement, the neural network used in evaluation of organizational change is one of the most effective means. In this paper, a class of stochastic Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with reaction-diffusion terms, discrete time delay and distributed time delay is investigated. First, we describe the modeling, illuminate the significance of the system and introduce some preliminary definitions and lemmas which will be employed throughout the paper. Then, by using the Lyapunov functional method, M-matrix properties, nonnegative semimartingale convergence theorem and some inequality technique, sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the exponential stability of the system.

By using a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and the stochastic analysis technique, we investigate the problem of synchronization for discrete-time stochastic neural networks (DSNNs) with random delays. A control law is designed, and sufficient conditions are established that guarantee the synchronization of two identical DSNNs with random delays. Compared with the previous works, the time delay is assumed to be existent in a random fashion. The stochastic disturbances are described in terms of a Brownian motion and the time-varying delay is characterized by introducing a Bernoulli stochastic variable. Two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results. The main contribution of this paper is that the obtained results are dependent on not only the bound but also the distribution probability of the time delay. Moreover, our results provide a larger allowance variation range of the delay, and are less conservative than the traditional delay-independent ones.

The stability of neutral-type genetic regulatory networks with leakage delays is considered. Firstly, we describe the model of genetic regulatory network with neutral delays and leakage delays. Then some sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the asymptotic stability of the genetic regulatory network by the Lyapunov functional method. Further, the effect of leakage delay on stability is discussed. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the results.

This paper considers exponential stabilization for a class of coupled hybrid stochastic delayed bidirectional associative memory neural networks (HSD-BAM-NN) with reaction-diffusion terms. A periodically intermittent controller is proposed to exponentially stabilize such an unstable HSD-BAM-NN, and sufficient conditions of the closed-loop BAM-NN system with exponential stabilization are derived by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method, stochastic analysis techniques, and integral inequality property, which decide the basic parameters of the proposed controller. Furthermore, a framework to establish simulation algorithm with sampled states is presented to implement the stabilization controller. With a HSD-BAM-NN model of power synchronization in a photovoltaic (PV) array field, we illustrate numerical simulation results to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed controller.

Finite-time stability and finite-time boundedness of fractional order switched systems with [Formula: see text] are investigated in this paper. First of all, by employing the average dwell time technique and Lyapunov functional method, some sufficient conditions for finite-time stability and finite-time boundedness of fractional order switched systems are proposed. Furthermore, the state feedback controllers are constructed, and sufficient conditions are given to ensure that the corresponding closed-loop systems are finite-time stable and finite-time bounded. These conditions can be easily obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, two numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the results.
