The old pattern of practicum implementation has less impact on increasing students’ science process skills and critical thinking. Therefore, implementing practicum with a semi-research pattern has been carried out by involving the lecturer and laboratory assistant. The subjects of this research were 40 students in Universitas Negeri Medan. The method is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, action, reflection, and evaluation. Instrument’s research is the observation sheet and essay test. The results of descriptive data analysis show that implementing practicum with a semi-research pattern can improve students’ science process critical thinking skills, especially in planning experiments by 88.3% and critical thinking skills in evaluating by 82.3%.

The purpose of this research are to knowing the differences of critical thinking skills using interactive module photoelectric effects  with printed module, describe the improvement of students' critical thinking skills after the interactive module is applied, describe science process skills in students who use interactive module of photoelectric effects, and knowing student responses to the use interactive module of photoelectric effects. The study was conducted in Natar 1 Public High School, in the even semester 2018/2019 academic year with research design nonequivalent control group design. The research instrument used was a questionnaire (questionnaire), Student Worksheet (LKPD) along with observation sheets and test questions. Data collection techniques were carried out by test techniques, questionnaires and LKPD contents. The data analysis technique of critical thinking ability is done by normality test, homogeneity test and N-gain. The data analysis technique of science process skills is done by calculating the average grade of the class then adjusted to the index classification table of science processes. Hypothesis testing is done by Paired Sample T Test and Independent Sample T Test. The results of the study show that (1) the application of the photoelectric effect interactive module is able to improve students' critical thinking skills, this is seen from the N-gain value and paired sample t test results, 2) there are significant differences in critical thinking skills between students who use interactive modules with printed modules, this is seen from the differences in the n-gain values of both classes and the results of the independent sample t test, (3) the value of students' science process skills is 82.6 with a high category, and (4) students gave a positive response to the utilization of the photoelectric effect interactive module.

This study aims to determine the effect of practicum based direct learning models on science process skills and students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA 4 as the experimental class and XI IPA 3 as the control class. The research instrument used in the form of learning implementation observation sheets, observation sheets of science process skills and tests of students' critical thinking skills. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test. The results of the data analysis show that the implementation of learning in both classes reaches very good categories. Data analysis of students 'science process skills shows that students' science process skills differ. Students' critical thinking ability in the experimental class using practicum based direct learning models is higher than the control class. The average students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class reached 73.5 and control class 58.6. Hypothesis test analysis using t-test is known that tcount is greater than ttable (3.45 > 2.04), therefore the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the practicumbased direct learning model influences students 'critical thinking skills and students' average process science skills reach good categories.

Abstract:This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model Think Thalk Write on the ability of critical thinking among students of class X SMK SMTI Bandar Lampung. Research by the author is Quasi Experiment study. The study involved two groups of learners who totaled 31 students to a class experiment and 30 learners to grade control. The collection of data obtained using a test instrument. Shaped test instrument shaped essay test critical thinking skills. The results show that there are significant research critical thinking skills of learners after using cooperative learning model Think Talk Write. T test obtained tcoll > t table is 2.930 > 2.00 with a significance level of 5%. So H1 received, which indicates that there are significant cooperative learning model Think Talk Write mode on the ability of critical thinking among students of Class X. Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh  model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Thalk Write terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada peserta didik kelas X SMK SMTI Bandar Lampung.

This study aims to produce a science module based on mobile-collaborative-based science learning (m-CBSL) with the topic of temperature and heat and describe the resulting module's validity and practicality. The research design was Educational Design Research (EDR). The data collection techniques used were literature study, walkthrough, interview, and questionnaire. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire of validity and practicality. Data analysis techniques include descriptive data analysis, validation sheets, and questionnaires. Module validation sheets were given to 5 validators. In contrast, practicality sheets were given to 9 students of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Banjarmasin (small group) and 62 students and three science teachers at SMP Negeri 6 & 12 Banjarmasin field test. The validity questionnaire analysis results concluded that the validity of the module was 3.71 "very valid" categories. The practicality level based on the teacher's questionnaire scored 87.04 in the "very practical" category. The small group questionnaire scored 85.19 in the "very practical" category, and the field trial questionnaire scored 86.42 in the "very practical" category. It means that the m-CBSL based science module is valid and practical in the learning process to improve critical thinking skills and collaboration.

The purpose of research are 1). To know are differences in science process skills of students with the applied of inquiry training learning model and direct instruction learning models, 2). To know are differences in science process skills of students who has high critical thinking ability and the  critically low ability, 3). To know the interaction inquiry training learning model and critical thinking ability toward students science process skills. The samples in this research conducted by cluster random sampling and  as many as two class , the first class (X-I) as experiment applied Inquiry Training learning model and the second class (X-2) as control class applied Direct Intruction learning model. The instrument used in this research is tests science process skills and critical thinking skills in the form of description and observation sheets science process skills. From these results it can be concluded that: 1) there are differences in students science process skills with applied inquiry training model and direct intruction model, 2) science process skills of students with high critical thinking ability is better than the science process skills of students with the ability to think critically low, and 3) the interaction inquiry training learning model and critical thinking ability toward the science process skills.
