As human living environments face increasing challenges with resilience, the concept of nature-based solutions (NBS) was proposed in recent years as a way to promote sustainable living in urban environments. Urban forests and trees play important roles in urban ecosystems, while their potential as an NBS is promising. A bibliometric analysis was first conducted to explore the research pattern of NBS in urban environments. Studies of urban forest and tree-based green infrastructure in NBS research were further investigated using a systematic literature review method. The initial studies on NBS have increased since 2015 with 493 documents published from 142 sources in over 70 countries and regions. Keyword analysis showed green infrastructure had a rather high frequency of utility and received considerable attention. As for urban forests as nature-based solutions (UF-NBS) research, the most prominent study approaches used at different scales and the main benefits and typologies of urban forest studied in the articles were identified. UF-NBS research is still relatively scarce at present. Despite the role of urban forest and trees in addressing environmental challenges being well recognized, UF-NBS studies still need to be conducted in a more comprehensive context, taking social and economic aspects into account.

Bibliometric analysis related to cooperative learning methods is a new theme and has never been studied. The research pattern related to cooperative learning methods is still uncharted and it is not known how effective it is when analyzed from several previous studies. Cooperative learning chemistry concepts provide suitable solutions for improving activity of students and chemistry learning outcomes. This study aims to demonstrate an all-compassing bibliometric analysis in the terms and concepts of ‘cooperative learning’. The articles evaluated were identified through Google Scholar database as well as the perish or publish software. Furthermore, scimagojr.com (Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4) was adopted during scanning, and a total of 19 articles were analyzed from 7 reliable journals. This research using literature review method. The type of research used a bibliometric review in five measures method pioneered. These five steps describe the keyword of the search as cooperative learning chemistry, initial search results, improvement of these results, collection of initial data statistics and data analysis, as explained below. The results showed the practice of cooperative learning in chemistry is being widely accepted. However, there is a need for further research and Collaborations on inter-regional studies involving Asian scholars and developed nations in particular regions. The results showed that more than 75% of cooperative learning has a significant effect on learning outcomes. The learning model is an external factor that affects learning outcomes.

The goal of this study is to examine the views of academicians working in the preschool teaching department on the applicability of the distance education model in preschool education. The study was carried out in a ‘phenomenological’ pattern, which is a qualitative research pattern. The research group comprised eight academicians working in preschool teaching departments of state/foundation universities in Istanbul during the 2020–2021 academic period. The study results indicate that participants expressed more limitations than positive aspects of applying the distance education model in preschool education. It is observed that participants agree that children will face some limitations in socio-emotional development fields, but might be supported in the cognitive development field when the distance education model is applied in preschool education. It is also understood that participants do not have a common view on language development, motor development and self-care skills. Inner-service training for inexperienced teachers on distance education to inform them about distance education practices in preschool education is suggested.     Keywords: Preschool education, distance education, academician, child, opinions.

‘Service Quality’ and its influence in Library and Information Science discipline are spectacular when studied intensively. In this study, researchers adopted the Realist and Meta-narrative Evidence Syntheses: Evolving Standards review method and introduced a novel Initialization, Conceptualization, Actualisation) (ICA) framework for meta-narrative studies. This method would act as a boon particularly to the existing methods of conducting meta-narrative studies in social sciences in general and library sciences in particular. A total of 49 research articles were selected from Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases, covering a span of 5 years, that is, 2015–2019, published in the domain of library service quality. An extensive in-depth analysis of selected publications was carried out under seven categories (i.e. library, library services, quality, ServQUAL, LibQUAL+, user satisfaction and users’ expectations), which were generated using the VOS-Viewer software and ‘Review Tags’ (manually generated using OneNote). The seven categories further identify a total of 27 sub-categories. The quantitative findings revealed that all the 49 reviewed publications were published in 27 journals. All the journals have been indexed in the Scopus database, whereas 15 journals containing the remaining 22 publications are indexed in both WoS and Scopus databases. This study unfolds a transverse trend in library service quality. It would be beneficial for the library managers to sustain libraries’ service quality and set a benchmark in the said field.

The old pattern of practicum implementation has less impact on increasing students’ science process skills and critical thinking. Therefore, implementing practicum with a semi-research pattern has been carried out by involving the lecturer and laboratory assistant. The subjects of this research were 40 students in Universitas Negeri Medan. The method is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, action, reflection, and evaluation. Instrument’s research is the observation sheet and essay test. The results of descriptive data analysis show that implementing practicum with a semi-research pattern can improve students’ science process critical thinking skills, especially in planning experiments by 88.3% and critical thinking skills in evaluating by 82.3%.

Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), is a rare disorder during childhood, and it can trigger serious consequences in the future if not treated promptly. The existing diagnostic methods for this disorder are found in the English language only, which leads to difficulties in finding valid and agreed diagnostic methods by speech therapists to apply to the Spanish-speaking population. Hence, this study aims to provide the translation of an evaluation tool which is suitable for Spanishspeaking countries and that facilitates phonoaudiological work in the diagnosis. The method that will be used is that of translation-retranslation, to which the analysis of an expert opinion will be incorporated to give validity to the instrument. The results expose a wide acceptance of the instrument (94% of positive results) with substantial agreement among experts (IRR inter rater reliability), presented as agreement probability for the entire instrument of 0.57 (57%). In conclusion, this study provides a research pattern for AHI, to facilitate the early phonoaudiological evaluation of children, allowing the patients to access reliable care regarding to diagnosis.
