Generally, along with the rapid economic development in our country, the requirement of mineral resource is gradually increasing. Compared with the traditional metallurgy, the biohydrometallurgy has the merit of light damage of environment, low cost, and a few investments, and then it can treat with very low-grade ores even industrial disposals. Since the discovery of scattered elemental tellurium deposit in China, the development and utilization of this unique independent tellurium ores were studied. In this paper, firstly, the progresses on tellurium recovery process from the unique tellurium ores were summarized, and then, the experimental results on bioleaching in our lab were presented.

Nowadays, the integration of world economic development determines the increasingly close cooperation between countries. The international river has become a hot area of economic development. How to rationally develop and utilize the international river and make it healthy and sustainable development is an important problem facing all countries. China is rich in cross-border river water resources. With the increasingly obvious economic status of cross-border river water resources, how to use cross-border river is an urgent problem. Combined with the distribution characteristics of cross-border rivers in China, this paper discusses the strategic significance of cross-border river development and utilization for national development, combs the current situation of cross-border river development and utilization, and puts forward corresponding measures for cross-border river development strategy, which has reference value for solving the problems caused by cross-border river development.

Canals and water raceways played an important role in the history and economic development of New Jer-sey. Much of the early settlement and industrial activity centered on areas with water transportation and water power. But many of these canals and raceways have been forgotten and lost. A small percentage still exist as abandoned waterways. A smaller percentage are still in use, for either their original purpose or for recreation. A new survey of the current and historic canals and water raceways of New Jersey found 171 of them. The locations are available in a GIS shapefile that indicates their current status (active or abandoned) and condition (wet or dry). The shapefile also shows the locations of locks and inclined planes on the Mor-ris Canal and the Delaware & Raritan Canal. The number of mapped historical water raceways in an area directly correlated to the interest and activity of local historians. Undoubtedly many more water raceways remain to be rediscovered. This report will be updated by the New Jersey Geological Survey as additional canals and water raceways are identified and reliably located.

In the process of urban construction in several thousand years, Chinese insisted on the principle of "man and nature co-existing in harmony", however, in recent years, due to blind pursuit of economic development, this principle was fading out. Taking advantage of urban resources without planning was confronting the city with an unprecedented crisis. This article reveals the problems in the guiding ideology of current urban planning and construction, and points out that we have to return to nature of urban planning and construction from the guiding ideology to realize rational development and utilization.

The Quebec towns of Sherbrooke and Sorel both offered certain attractions for economic development in 1840. Sorel was located at the junction of two major rivers, while Sherbrooke offered considerable water power to industry. Nevertheless, between 1840 and 1914 Sherbrooke grew much more rapidly than Sorel. The nature of land ownership was an important factor in differentiating the experiences of the two towns. Sorel's most valuable lands were tied up by a succession of government agencies, while the best lands in Sherbrooke were owned by a private land company eager to encourage development.

The development period between 2007 and 2013 had a historical significance for Hungary as the funds that were provided by the European Union and were supplemented by the domestic and public sectors naturally offered great possibilities for the country’s sub-statistical regions and regions to inspire their development and innovation. In order to use these funds efficiently it is essential to incorporate the developments into the area’s capabilities, to harmonize them and to increase the role of the sub-statistical regions and regions. This study ranks the sub-regions of the Southern Great Plain Region in terms of their economic characteristics and identifies the most disadvantageous ones. Using as an example a specific sub-region it determines the local effects of EU payments with the application of different statistical methods.
