In the structure of the gross domestic product of the Russian Federation, industry accounts for about 36 %, including: manufacturing – 18 %, mining - 14.8 %, production and distribution of electricity, gas and water - 3.1%, etc. In fact, about 70 % of oil production in the country belongs to two federal districts: Ural (50 %) and Volga (19 %). Oil production in the Russian Federation for the period from 2010 to 2018 increased by 11%, exports increased by 5.5 %. About 47-49 % of the total volume of oil produced in the country is exported. The level of labor productivity in mining during the studied dynamics turned out to be three times higher than in manufacturing, and 3.5-5 times higher than in the distribution of electricity, gas and water. Currently, various methods of oil production are used, including: using methods of artificial stimulation of the reservoir (42.2 %), using water injection (34 %), using physicochemical methods, including gas (7.5 %) ), using hydrodynamic (7.3 %), thermal (0.7 %) and new methods (8.3 %). At the same time, oil production using the water injection method in the country decreased by 9.8 %, using artificial stimulation methods decreased by 3.8 %, and using hydrodynamic methods, oil production decreased by 1.2 %. In recent years, there has been a growing trend in the use of thermal (2.2 times), physicochemical (+ 27.8 %) and other new oil production methods (+ 32.3 %). The depth of oil refining in the Russian Federation increased from 71.2 % in 2010 to 82.2% in 2018. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that we included both economic and socially significant factors in our correlation and regression analysis. In addition, we found that the key factors influencing the formation of gross domestic product are the level of oil prices, export volumes and industrial production volumes.

Energy strategy of the Russian Federation until 2035 defines the goals, objectives, problems, and indicators of the development of the country fuel and energy complex in two stages: 2020–2024 and 2025–2035. It is focused on achieving two strategic priorities — sustainable social and economic development of the country and ensuring its national security and safety. The great importance is paid to the development of all major energy sectors: oil, gas, coal, petrochemical, electric power, nuclear, hydrogen. The key indicators of the development of energy sector are the following: the coefficients of reproduction and extraction of energy resources to increase in the gross domestic product, the growth in consumption of energy resources and ensure the life activities of the state. The achievement of the stated goals and indicators is linked to the strategy of the scientific and technological development in the main spheres of sustainment, increase in the level of state regulation, control and supervision over the implementation of the strategy in the field of industrial and energy safety. This will be facilitated by the long and significant experience of interaction between Rostechnadzor and the Russian Academy of Sciences. At the same time, the use of a risk-based approach gains key importance to substantiate, ensure and improve safety in the fuel and energy complex following the requirements of the federal legislation. The socio-economic efficiency of the implementation of the strategy is proposed to be quantified by the interrelated indicators of the growth rate of the gross domestic product and the increase in the level of safety. In this case, it is required to consider the emerging and acceptable risks determined through the likelihood of hazardous processes occurrence and damage from them at various stages of the country development. These approaches are reflected in the multivolume publication «Safety of Russia», summarizing the legal, socio-economic and scientific-technical aspects of safety and development of the country.

Substantiated the urgency of studying the influence of monetary circulation on the economic security of the state. The principles of the monetary policy of the Russian Federation are systematized. The factors influencing the level of security within the system of monetary circulation are identified. To assess the influence of the most significant factors of monetary circulation, a statistical model has been developed in the article, which makes it possible to determine the degree and direction of the impact of the fundamental monetary factors and the dynamics of gross domestic product. The forecast of the size of gross domestic product in the Russian Federation has been carried out.

Currently, the Russian Federation is a significant geopolitical and economic player in the modern global world, it has its own interests and traditional partnerships with most states, including business representatives of those countries that are trying to restrain its development through restrictions and partial isolation from global development opportunities . Despite the sanctions and the unfavorable world market conditions, the Russian economy showed high plasticity, stability and adaptability to external changes, which was reflected in the positive dynamics of foreign trade growth in the existing conditions. Therefore, the purpose of this article was to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics of official statistics on economic growth and foreign trade in the Russian Federation for the period 2013-2018. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were solved: 1) an analysis of the dynamics of the gross domestic product of the Russian Federation for the period 2013-2018; 2) the role of foreign trade in the gross domestic product of the country is estimated through the calculation of foreign economic quotas; 3) analyzed the dynamics of foreign trade, imports and exports of the Russian Federation; 4) revealed the shares of product groups in the structure of exports and imports, as well as the most significant counterparties of the Russian Federation. The hypothesis of the study was the thesis of the interdependence of the volume of economic growth and foreign economic activity, including taking into account changes in foreign economic conditions. The article provides a retrospective analysis of the dynamics of economic growth in terms of nominal value and purchasing power parity, as well as the dynamics of foreign trade of the Russian Federation for the period 2013-2018. A preliminary forecast of foreign trade volumes for 2019 is given. The calculation of foreign economic, export and import quotas for the same period. The Russian specifics of the dynamics and structure of export supplies and import flows, as well as the structure of both imports and exports by counteragent countries and enlarged groups of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity, are examined. For the period under review, the nominal GDP fell by 28.8%, while in terms of purchasing power parity, the Russian economy grew by 5.7% over the same period. At the same time, the largest drawdown in the economy occurred in the middle of the period; in recent years, the situation in the economy has improved. The role of foreign trade in the formation of GDP during the period was relatively stable, with the exception of 2018, when the foreign trade quota sharply increased (as well as export and import). The dynamics of foreign trade and export quotas in the Russian Federation are almost identical, while imports depend on export earnings. For the study period, foreign trade turnover of the Russian Federation decreased by 18.4%, export volumes decreased by 14.8%, import purchases decreased by 24.5%. The main problem of the economy and foreign economic activity remains its dependence on the export of mineral products.

Companies engaged in the production and distribution of electricity have a significant impact on the financial and economic development of the Russian Federation. In turn, the basis for the functioning of electric power companies are fixed assets, which include transmission devices, the main part of which is power transmission lines, as well as machinery and equipment, including transformer substations, RP, etc. Providing companies with the necessary amount of fixed assets, their full and effective use is one of the most important factors in the growth of the volume of electricity produced and transmitted. The key indicator that reflects the state of fixed assets of companies is the degree of their depreciation. In the article, the authors assess the dynamics of depreciation of fixed assets of companies engaged in the production and distribution of electricity. The authors formed a group of indicators-factors that can influence the state of fixed assets of companies in the field of electricity production and distribution. Through the use of multi-factor correlation and regression analysis, a significant factor has been identified that affects the state of fixed assets of companies engaged in the production and distribution of electricity. Correlation and regression analysis revealed that the degree of depreciation of fixed assets of companies in the field of production and distribution of electricity significantly affects the profitability of their sales.
