Mobility is a critical element of quality of life. This is as true for the elderly population as for the larger population. The elderly often have limited physical abilities and financial constraints that might reduce their mobility. Helping the growing elderly population to maintain decent mobility is a critical challenge for transportation planning and policy. For this, the factors that influence the mobility of the elderly population (elderly mobility) must be understood. Only a few systematic studies, however, have been published. Descriptive statistics of the potentially influential factors make it difficult to assess their effects on elderly mobility. The transportation mobility of retired people age 65 years or older in the Puget Sound region of Washington State was analyzed by using a structural equation model. The statistical significance and relative effects of various personal and household characteristics and urban form on elderly mobility were tested. The structural equation model finds statistically significant relationships between age, gender, transportation disability, possession of a driver's license, and education level and elderly mobility. Among these variables, age and education level show the strongest effects. Urban form, however, seems to be insignificant.

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dasar teori model konseptual resolusi kepemimpinan dan konflik, mengamati pengaruhnya untuk kepuasan kerja, komitmen dan efektivitas organisasi. Penelitian ini melakukan tes empiris mengenai hubungan antara variabel-variabel, yaitu gaya kepemimpinan adaptif, resolusi konflik, kepuasan kerja, komitmen afektif dan efektivitas organisasi. Penelitian ini mengembangkan model teoritis empiris sebagai dasar untuk menguji dan menganalisis konflik substantif dan gaya kepemimpinan adaptif integratif dan juga implikasinya terhadap otonomi tugas, kerja sama tim, kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi dan efektivitas program studi di universitas. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah program studi utama dan atau departemen dari PTS di Kota Semarang. Path Analysis dengan Structural Equation Model digunakan untuk menganalisa dan menguji hipotesis. Penelitian ini telah mengungkapkan temuan baru, yaitu kemampuan gaya kepemimpinan adaptif integratif menjadi mediasi antara hubungan kepuasan kerja dan efektifitas organisasi.</p><p><br />The objective of the research is to develop a conceptual model of the basic theory of resolution leadership and conflict, to observe the influence of job satisfaction, commitment and organizational effectiveness. It is an empirical study to test the relationship of the variables such as adaptive leadership style, conflict resolution, job satisfaction, affective commitment and organizational effectiveness. The study develops an empirical theoretical model as a basis to test and analyze the substantive conflict and integrative adaptive leadership style and also the implications for task autonomy, teamwork, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and study programs effectiveness at the university. The samples of the<br />study are the main study programs or departments at private universities in Semarang. The data were analyzed by Path Analysis with Structural Equation Model to analyze and test the hypothesis. The result of the study shows the new finding; it is the ability of integrative adaptive leadership style becomes the mediation between job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.</p>

Abstract This paper is a review of the model to investigate the effect of safety and security, financial benefit, social status, and lifestyle facilities on residential purchase and residential satisfaction. The future research will survey residents in private cities in Indonesia and Malaysia. For Indonesia, samples will be taken in South Tangerang, specifically in Bintaro Jaya, BSD City, and Summerecon. For Malaysia, samples will be taken among residents of private cities in Malaysia. The analysis will employ the use of structural equation model using SPSS and Amos software. The accepted hypotheses are expected be result of this study. Safety and security, financial benefit, social status, and lifestyle facilities determine the residential purchase and residential satisfaction. The originality of the research is the study investigate comparative study of the model testing in two countries, Indonesia and Malaysia.

<p class="Style20"><em>The research objective is to examine the effect of budget participation on managerial performance and motivation as intervening variable. These respondents involve managers those participate in preparing budget in public manufacturing firms. Data were collected by using random sampling method and analyzed by structural equation model. This research finds that budget participation has positive and significant effect on motivation and managerial performance. Meanwhile motivation has positive and significant effect on managerial performance. This research has limitations. First, the sample of this research is managers that participate in preparing budget. Second, data were analyzed by using path analysis that has limitation. So, future research suggests by using simultaneous equation to eliminate errors. This model is called structural equation model.</em></p>

This study analyzes and examines the influence of capital structure and operational risk on profitability of insurance companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used in this research is quantitative method using Generalized Least Square and Structural Equation Model which implicate factor-analysis and path analysis. This research sample consists of 8 insurance companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2009-2019. The study leads to three findings. First, capital structure has negative and significant influence on profitability in insurance companies. Second, capital structure has positive and significance on operational risk. Third, operational risk has profitability and insignificant influence on profitability.AbstrakPenelitian ini menganalisis dan menguji pengaruh struktur modal dan risiko operasional terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan asuransi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengolahan data Generalized Least Squares dan menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan melibatkan factor-analysis dan path-analysis. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah sembilan perusahaan asuransi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2009-2019. Terdapat tiga penemuan dari penelitian ini. Pertama, struktur modal memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan asuransi, namun tidak signifikan. Kedua, adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan dari struktur modal terhadap risiko operasional. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh positif dari risiko operasional terhadap profitabilitas namun tidak signifikan.Kata kunci: asuransi, Bursa Efek Indonesia, profitabilitas, risiko operasional

Kinerja merupakan suatu proses manajemen yang dirancang untuk menghubungkan tujuan organisasi dengan tujuan individu sedemikian rupa, sehingga baik tujuan individu maupun tujuan korporasi dapat bertemu. Ukuran dari kinerja perusahaan sangatlah bermacam-macam dan berbeda-beda dari satu industri ke industri lainnya tergantung pada aktivitas pokok perusahaan seperti produksi, keuangan, pemasaran, sumber daya manusia, jasa dan banyak lagi kegiatan usaha lainnya. Pada penelitian ini, jenis industri yang akan diteliti bergerak di bidang jasa perbankan. Kinerja keuangan adalah salah satu tolak ukur dalam menilai suatu bank dan kondisi keuangan yang bagus cenderung menarik perhatian investor. Dalam hubungannya dengan kinerja, laporan keuangan sering dijadikan dasar untuk penilaian kinerja bank karena dapat menunjukkan posisi keuangan dan juga indikator kinerja. Berdasarkan data kinerja dan rasio keuangan perbankan nasional pada tahun 2013 – 2017, dapat dilihat bahwa tren kinerja perbankan cenderung fluktuatif dari tahun ke tahun. Salah satu penyebab turunnya kinerja dan rasio keuangan adalah penerapan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) yang kurang baik. Permasalahan mengenai kinerja perbankan selaras dengan data statistik GCG yang dikeluarkan oleh LPPI pada tahun 2018, dimana rata-rata peringkat GCG untuk Bank Umum Kategori Usaha (BUKU) 1 dan 2 berada di atas standar standar industri perbankan. Selama ini, penerapan GCG dilakukan pada tingkat corporate dan kurang optimalnya implementasi GCG yang dilakukan di tingkat unit bisnis maupun tingkat operasional / fungsional. Pemodelan dari kerangka penelitian dirancang dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktural atau Structural Equation Model (SEM) yang merupakan pendekatan terintegrasi antara Analisis Faktor, Model Struktural dan Path Analysis. Berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi pada industri perbankan di Indonesia, maka kerangka pemikiran penelitian yang akan ditelaah adalah mengetahui gambaran keberlanjutan kinerja pada industri perbankan di Indonesia yang merupakan dampak dari penerapan GCG yang didukung oleh budaya perusahaan.
