The most common primary malignant cardiac tumor is the cardiac sarcoma, which is mesenchymal in origin. This case report describes a patient with hyperacute stroke caused by cardiac sarcoma who underwent rapid recanalization through mechanical aspiration thrombectomy with Penumbra catheter.

Schwann cell tumors are rare group of benign neoplasms that origin form peripheral nerves. 0,1%-1,5% develops in the larynx causing hoarseness, difficulty with swallowing and dyspnea. Treatment of the choice is surgical resection of the tumor during open type surgery or endoscopic procedure. Chosen surgical technique depends on tumor localization, size observed in clinical examination and imaging. Also, clinical manifestation of the disease is included in decision making process.

Purpose: Cardiac myxomas are common tumors of the heart with disproportionate impact on young patients, occasionally with dramatic systemic dissemination of tumor emboli with catastrophic multiorgan system ischemia. The coincident comorbidities can increase the risk of traditional treatments for tumor embolus in each region. Case report: A young patient with previously unknown cardiac myxoma presented with seizure and was found to have stress cardiomyopathy, multiple cerebral large vessel occlusions with acute ischemic stroke, bilateral lower extremity tumor emboli and rhabdomyolysis, and renal tumor embolus with acute tubular necrosis. We describe a multidisciplinary approach applying cerebrovascular stent retriever devices in tumor embolectomy of the renal artery of a young patient with systemic morbidity, preventing safe laparotomy for open surgical tumor embolectomy. Conclusion: We describe 2-month renal function outcomes and the considerations in applying a neuroendovascular mechanical thrombectomy device within the renal artery. This was a radiographically successful technique and her renal function appears to be improving at the 2-month follow-up, although this is complicated by other renal insults and support.

Abstract We describe a rare case of high-grade osteosarcoma with intravascular extension to the right atrium and right ventricle in a 23-year-old woman. Osteosarcomas rarely metastasize to the heart, and only a few cases have been reported in the literature thus far. Diagnoses in some of these cases were made during investigation for severe cardiac failure and in most of these cases at autopsy. We describe a unique case of intravascular extension of the tumor embolus in a cordlike fashion from the left femoral vein to the right side of the heart that morphologically resembled a chondrosarcoma.
