Manual material handling follows in nearly all working surroundings, although labors in agriculture fields, construction sites, restaurants, and hotels area are likely to be working with heavy jobs in terms of weight, currencies, Manual handling of the heavy load may turn in to a growing disorder due to the steady or increasing drop of the musculoskeletal system due to constant material lifting / handling events. It may also reason to acute trauma like bone fractures or skin cuts from accidents. One must begin to identify the correct process of methods to deal with each material to solve the problem. Adherence to standard procedures for long-term resolution of the long-term effects caused by incorrect manual material handling, is addressed through specially designed workouts after or before work and, ultimately, also automated technology Or involved in providing assistance through manual tools that assist the user in dealing with content. The proposed task is to conduct studies to identify process issues and future results and to provide solutions to the industry by means of analysis and following standard procedures. This paper mainly deals with issues directly or indirectly in many aspects and discusses solutions implemented to deal with manual content in various industry. The study concluded with a novel automation solution for rapid analysis of effects due to manual analysis that could take years to identify.

Bisphosphonates are potent anti-resorptive agents that have the potential to adversely affect bone healing in equine athletes, and normal bone adaption in young racehorses. A concern exists that bisphosphonate inhibition of normal bone metabolism could lead to increased bone fractures during high-intensity exercise. We found only a single report describing concentrations of tiludronate in the bone of horses, and no studies describing clodronate. Knowledge of the residence time in bone could allow for a better understanding of the long-term effects of these compounds. Our objectives were to develop a method for detection of bisphosphonates in bone and add to the limited information available regarding the disposition of these drugs in the bone of horses. Two horses received clodronate and 2 tiludronate disodium. Postmortem collection of bones and teeth occurred either 4 or 30 d post drug administration. Additionally, postmortem blood, synovial fluid, aqueous humor, and bone samples from racehorses with various histories of bisphosphonate administration were collected, and concentrations determined using the developed LC-MS/MS method. Bisphosphonates were detected in bones and teeth tested at 4 and 30 d. In a postmortem sample, clodronate was detected in bone from a horse with reported administration 18 mo prior; clodronate was not detected in other sample types collected from this horse. Bisphosphonates reside in bone for extended periods of time, which could lead to potential long-term effects, increasing the potential for bone fractures in young and/or athletic horses.

Introduction: Manual Material Handling tasks can cause fatigue in the short term and increase physical workload and musculoskeletal injuries in the long term. The present study was conducted to determine the amount of forces entered to the lower back in workers with manual material handling tasks.Methods: This descriptive-analytic study was conducted on 100 workers in food industries in Malard city in 2017. The Nordic questionnaire was used to determine the frequency of musculoskeletal disorders. The 3DSSPP was also applied to determine the amount of forces entered to the lower back of manual material handling tasks workers. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS (version 23)Results: we found that 24percent of workers had discomfort in at least one of their nine musculoskeletal muscles. The results of 3DSSPP showed that 30 and 34 percent of the compressive forces entered into L5/S1 and L4/L5 discs, respectively. In addition, the shearing force loaded on the L5/S1 disc was also found to be higher than the permissible limit eight percent of the participants. No significant relationship was found between the frequency of musculoskeletal disorders and the amount of compressive and shear forces entered to the lower back of workers.Conclusion: Based on NIOSH  recommended limits, the amount of compressive and shear forces entered to the lower back in 3DSSPP showed that in 30 percent of manual lifting load tasks, the risk of injury to the lower back was moderate and this risk was low in 70 percent of tasks.

Posture is a bigger concern than most think. With growing workload for school children, the weight of this issue is increasing every day. It can not only affect a child in the present but also have long-term effects on their body and render their spine vulnerable to injuries. Therefore the solutions can be either to decrease their workload, that is, decrease the weight of their backpack, or to constantly guide them to a better posture for the betterment of their spinal shape and thus their health. The aim of this paper is to find which part of the spine is affected the most by the heavy load and develop a prototype: a monitoring system that is effective in guiding a child to constantly keep their posture in check and is also simple enough to be worn every day.

The developing mammalian fetus is thought to be highly sensitive to ionizing radiation. However, dose, dose-rate relationships are not well established, especially the long term effects of protracted, low-dose exposure. A previous report (1) has indicated that bred beagle bitches exposed to daily doses of 5 to 35 R 60Co gamma rays throughout gestation can produce viable, seemingly normal offspring. Puppies irradiated in utero are distinguishable from controls only by their smaller size, dental abnormalities, and, in adulthood, by their inability to bear young.We report here our preliminary microscopic evaluation of ovarian pathology in young pups continuously irradiated throughout gestation at daily (22 h/day) dose rates of either 0.4, 1.0, 2.5, or 5.0 R/day of gamma rays from an attenuated 60Co source. Pups from non-irradiated bitches served as controls. Experimental animals were evaluated clinically and hematologically (control + 5.0 R/day pups) at regular intervals.

Previous short term toxicological studies of one to two weeks duration have demonstrated that MDL 19,660 (5-(4-chlorophenyl)-2,4-dihydro-2,4-dimethyl-3Hl, 2,4-triazole-3-thione), an antidepressant drug, causes a dose-related thrombocytopenia in dogs. Platelet counts started to decline after two days of dosing with 30 mg/kg/day and continued to decrease to their lowest levels by 5-7 days. The loss in platelets was primarily of the small discoid subpopulation. In vitro studies have also indicated that MDL 19,660: does not spontaneously aggregate canine platelets and has moderate antiaggregating properties by inhibiting ADP-induced aggregation. The objectives of the present investigation of MDL 19,660 were to evaluate ultrastructurally long term effects on platelet internal architecture and changes in subpopulations of platelets and megakaryocytes.Nine male and nine female beagle dogs were divided equally into three groups and were administered orally 0, 15, or 30 mg/kg/day of MDL 19,660 for three months. Compared to a control platelet range of 353,000- 452,000/μl, a doserelated thrombocytopenia reached a maximum severity of an average of 135,000/μl for the 15 mg/kg/day dogs after two weeks and 81,000/μl for the 30 mg/kg/day dogs after one week.

Background: Prostanoids are used in the treatment of Raynaud’s phenomenon and acral perfusion disorders secondary to collagenosis. In subjective terms, intravenous administration of these agents produces success in more than 50% of patients. The therapeutic outcome of clinical administration of alprostadil or iloprost may vary from individual to individual. Patients and methods: The following variables were analysed in a cross-over study in 27 patients with collagenosis and Raynaud’s phenomenon: plasma viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation (rheological variables), partial pressure of oxygen and laser Doppler flowmetry in the finger region, and lymphocyte phenotyping and interleukin (IL) determinations (immunological variables). Results: Laser Doppler flowmetry revealed significant differences between patients with secondary Raynaud’s phenomenon and a control group of 25 healthy subjects. Laser Doppler readings did not change significantly as a result of the treatments. Therapy with iloprost produced a reduction in IL-1beta, L-selectin (CD 62 L) and IL-6. Conclusion: The change in immunological variables due to iloprost may explain the long-term effects of prostaglandins in the treatment of Raynaud’s phenomenon. From our results it is not possible to infer any preference for iloprost or alprostadil.
