A series of some N-[(E)-phenylmethylidene]benzenesulfonamide derivatives have been synthesised using solid SiO2-H3PO4 catalyst under solvent free conditions in microwave irradiation. The synthesised E-N-benzene sulfonilimines purities have been verified by their physical constants and spectroscopic data. The spectral frequencies are correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis the effect of substituents on the group frequencies will be discussed.

A series of titled compounds were prepared and analyzed their purities by literature method. The infrared and NMR spectral group frequencies of the compounds were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R constants using single and multi linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis, the effect of substituents on the above spectral frequencies was discussed.

Some substituted 1-thiocarbomyl pyrazolines including 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamides using solvent-free preheated fly-ash catalyzed cyclization between chalcones and thiosemicarbazide microwave irradiation. The yields of these thiocarbomyl pyrazolines are more than 80%. The purities of these synthesised pyrazoline derivatives are checked by their physical constants and spectral data earlier reported in the literature. The spectral data of these 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamides had been correlated, using single and multi-linear regression analysis.

A series containing eleven benzofuranyl flavonols have been prepared by cyclization of 3-hydroxybenzofuranyl chalcones with 30% hydrogen peroxide in the presence of sodium bicarbonate. The synthesized flavonols were characterized by their physical constants, analytical and spectroscopic data. The infrared spectral νOH, CO stretches(cm-1), NMR chemical shifts of OH, CO(δ, ppm) of these flavonols were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using single and multi linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analyses, the effects of substituents on the above group frequencies were discussed.

A series of aryl imines have been synthesized by Fly-ash: PTS catalyzed microwave assisted oxidative coupling of amines and aldehydes under solvent-free conditions. The yield of the imines has been found to be more than 90%. The purity of all imines has been checked using their physical constants and spectral data as published earlier in literature. The UV λmaxC=N(nm), infrared νC=N(cm-1), NMR δ(ppm) of CH=N and C=N spectral data have been correlated with Hammett substituent constants and F and R parameters using single and multi-linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis, the effect of substituents on the above spectral data has been studied. The antimicrobial activities of all imines have been studied using Bauer-Kirby method.

About ten titled compounds were prepared by microwave assisted silica-phosphoric acid catalysed cyclization of substituted styryl 4-biphenyl ketones and urea under solvent-free conditions. The infrared frequencies (ν, cm-1) of NH2, C=N, COC stretches, NMR spectral chemical shifts (δ, ppm) of NH2, H4-6, C=N, and C4-6 were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using single and multi-regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis, the effect of substituents on the infrared frequencies (ν, cm-1) and NMR chemical shifts (δ, ppm) has been studied.

Adequate work facilities with suitable conditions that are well maintained and will help smooth the work process in an organization. This study aims to determine the use of work facilities, on the performance of employees in the section of the Regional Financial Management Agency Secretariat of South Sulawesi Province. Therefore, to achieve these objectives researchers used data collection techniques with observation, questionnaires, and documentation with a population of 35 people. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis using percentages and for inferential statistical analysis techniques using data normality tests, product moment correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the work facilities in the section of the South Sulawesi Provincial Financial Management Agency Secretariat are in a good category, in terms of indicators: machinery and equipment, infrastructure, work equipment, land, and buildings. For the quality of employee performance in the section of the South Sulawesi Provincial Financial Management Agency Secretariat in a good category, which is viewed from: quality, quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, and independence. Based on the product moment correlation test analysis, there is a positive and significant influence on the use of work facilities on the performance of employees in the section of the Regional Financial Management Agency of South Sulawesi Province at 17.00%, stated to be accepted with a moderate level of influence. From the results of simple linear regression analysis shows that there is an influence of work facilities on employee performance in the section of the Regional Financial Management Agency Secretariat of South Sulawesi Province.

Some (E)-2-(substituted benzylideneamino)-N-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-hexahydro-2H-cyclopenta[b]thiophene-3-carboxamide derivatives have been synthesized by SiO2:H3PO4 catalyzed solvent-free condensation of 2-amino-N-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-hexahydro-2H-cyclopenta [b]thiophene-3-carboxamide and various substituted benzaldehydes in microwave irradiation. The yield of the imine-carboximido derivatives has been found to be more than 85 %. The purity of all imine-carboximido derivatives has been checked using their physical constants and spectral data. The spectral data of the imine-carboximido derivatives such as infrared ν (cm-1) of CO, NH, C-N, C-Cl, C-F, C=N, and the NMR chemical shifts (δ, ppm) of NH, CH, CO and C=N have been correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters. From the results of statistical analysis, the effects of substituent on the above spectral group absorptions have been discussed.

The selection of statistical analysis techniques to be used must be adjusted to the data. Data in the form of time cycle or point position to the angle of possibility is no longer suitable to be analyzed using classical linear statistic method because the direction and the angle influence the position between one data with other data. This paper aims to examine the comparison of Linear Regression Analysis with Circular Regression Analysis. The writing method used is literature review using simulation data. Simulation of data and analysis is done with the help of R program. The results showed that circular data is better in Circular Regression Analysis than Classical Linear Regression Analysis, so the conclusion is Selection of statistical analysis techniques to be used must be adjusted with the data that already held. This study aims to determine the effect of anxiety disorders on student learning outcomes in accounting subjects class XI at SMK Negeri 1 Makassar. This study uses questionnaires and documentation in collecting data. This study uses descriptive percentage analysis, and statistical analysis for statistical analysis of data. Statistical analysis of data includes Simple Linear Regression Analysis, and t-test. The results showed that anxiety disorders on student learning outcomes in class XI accounting subjects at SMK 1 Makassar through nine indicators namely: tense, confused, worried, difficult to concentrate, unable to sleep, heart palpitations, excessive cold sweat, frequent trembling, and Mules' stomach has a negative and significant effect. This means that if students experience anxiety disorders it will reduce student learning outcomes.
