Now a days, fire accidents are very common and sometimes it becomes very difficult for a fireman to save someone’s life. It is not possible to appoint a person to continuously observe for accidental fire where robot can do that. Therefore in such cases fire fighting robot comes in picture . Robot will detect fire remotely. These robots are mostly useful in industries where probability of accidental fire is more. The proposed vehicle is able to detect presence of fire and extinguishing it automatically by using gas sensor and temperature sensor. It contains gear motors and motor driver to control the movement of robot . Relay circuit is used to control the pump and when it will detect fire then it will communicate with microcontroller (Arduino UNO R3) through Bluetooth module. The proposed robot has a water jet spray which is capable of sprinkling water. The sprinkler can be move towards the required direction .At the time of moving towards the source of fire it may happen that it will come across some obstacles ,then it has obstacle avoiding capability. It will provide GUI for arduino operation using android. It detects obstacles using ultrasonic sensors upto range of 80 m. Communication between the mobile phone and robot will take place through Bluetooth ,which will have GUI to control the movement of robot . When mobile gets connected to Bluetooth firstly it will set module name, baud rate . It is feasible to implement Bluetooth communication between smartphones and microcontroller. Android controlled robot can be used easily in everyday life such as in homes, market ,companies etc. The development of apps for Android in Android SDK is easy and free of cost.

Fire accidents are undesirable event which emits heat, smoke or flame. Fire accident can cause a huge number of loss because of the danger and risk involved in rescuing victims out of the fire. In everyday life, it is not possible to always rely on human patrol for detecting and extinguishing fire at a fire accident scene. Fire fighting Robot is very effective in detecting fire accidents in industrial and residential areas where fire possibilities are high. In order to achieve this, this robot is used to detect a flame locate it and extinguishes the fire immediately before it leads to a dangerous accident. In case of risky situations, firefighting robot effectively find the fire and suppresses it. Effective monitoring, fire identification and extinguishing of fire are the problems to be solved. Our project is designed to solve those problems. Fireman can send commands to robot through raspberry pi module which is mounted on robot itself. Sprinkler start sprinkling water when it detects fire using sensor.

Khanina Rizki Sekar A, Subali, in paper Auto home security system using PIR sensor, temperature sensor, gas sensor connected with mobile phone based on microcontroller atmega162 and atmega8 with backup power explain that given the innumerable acts of criminality is happening around us, especially that threaten the security of residence so that the sense of security and peace becomes expensive. Along with the development of increasingly advanced technology make things easier including the automated home security systems are equipped with sensors, microcontrollers used as modem wavecom regulator as well as an information medium. Where in this system, every room in the house mounted sensor that functions to monitor the condition of the house. The sensor used is a PIR sensor for motion detection, temperature sensor to determine the room temperature and gas sensors to detect gas leaks. Results of the work detection sensor will be processed by a microcontroller ATmega8 then forwarded to the ATMega162 microcontroller via a serial port. Further information will be sent to the mobile phone via modem wavecom homeowners, so homeowners can know the condition of the house. The system is equipped with a battery backup, intended for home security control system to keep working in case of power outage suddenly. Keywords: PIR Sensor, Temperature Sensor, Gas Sensor, Microcontroller, Battery Backup

Fire accidents have been occurring frequently in these days, with or without the intervention of human. Whatever may be the reason it is one of the reason for huge blow to the mankind. Different losses would occur in the form of property, land, humans and animals too. Nature is also losing its environmental balance. Before the fire get widespread we have to inhibit it in initial stages. With the use of current technology we have developed a robot. In our paper, we will give the information about the design and construction of it. This fire fighting robot uses GSM technology. When the Robot detects fire, it gives message to the user by the use of GSM. A wireless smart camera which is fixed to it gives the video coverage of the surroundings. By the use of DTMF concept, we can control the movement of the robot in the direction we prefer. 8051 microcontroller is the main component of the project. It only sends and receives all major signals.

Introduction:With the constant improvement of technology in recent years, mobile dental photography is gaining more and more popularity. Mobile phones have almost completely replaced compact cameras in everyday life. Aim:The aim is to determine whether a mobile phone can be used to take standard pictures of patients in daily dental practice. Material and methods:A total of 330extraoral photographs were taken of 33 patients. 10 photos were taken of each of them (5 extraoral and 5 intraoral). From the five photos there were one taken with a DSLR camera and four with a mobile phone with different magnification x2, x3, x4 and x5 and respectively from different distances. Eleven linear parameters were measured and compared. Results: In the photos taken with a mobile phone there is a deformation of the image compared to the photos taken with a DSLR camera at all magnifications. The largest deformation is at twice the magnification. The image is close to the photos taken with a DSLR camera at four and five times the magnification. Conclusion:The mobile phone is applicable for the extraoral dental photography. At four times magnification(x4) and distance of 110 cm the deformation of the image is negligible and the quality of the photos is good. For the intraoral photos if there is a need for an image with the correct and as close as possible to the actual proportions of the teeth, the first choice is the DSLR camera.

Robot is a device, which performs human task or behave like a human-being. It needs expertise skills and complex programming to design. For designing a fire fighter robot, many sensors and motors were used. User firstly send robot to an affected area, to get live image of the field with the help of mobile camera via Wi-Fi using IP camera application to laptop. If any signs of fire shown in image, user direct robot in that particular direction for confirmation. Fire sensor and temperature sensor detects and measures the reading, after confirmation robot sprinkle water on affected field. During extinguish process if any obstacle comes in between the prototype and the affected area the ultrasonic sensor detects the obstacle, in response the robotic arm moves to pick and place that obstacle to another location for clearing the path. Meanwhile if any poisonous gas is present, the gas sensor detects and indicates by making alarm.
