The data were based on coverage of K4 pregnant women from 2015 to 2017, there are several publiic health centers with report trends visits to K4 pregnant women which tend to declined and less than the target of 98.45% that have been fixed in the Strategic Plan of Surabaya City Health Office. Three health center whose trend of data has decreased from 2014–2017 are Tembok Dukuh Health Center, Simokerto Health Center, and Menur Health Center. This is due to an error in the reporting mechanism both in data input, data processing, and output, it is necessary to develop an infoormation system for recording and reporting on maternal health services, especially for pregnant women and evaluating reports on K4 pregnant women's visits.

The efforts to reduce maternal and infant mortality can be done by increasing the coverage and quality of maternal and child health services. One effort is made to bring health services closer to the community through the pregnant mothers class program. Pregnant woman class is a study group of pregnant women with gestational age between 4 weeks to 36 weeks with a maximum number of 10 participants. In this class, pregnant women will learn together, discuss and exchange experiences on overal maternal and child health, facilitated by midwives or health workers by using the class package for pregnant women, namely flip chart, guidelines for implementing classes of pregnant women,  class facilitator’s handbook pregnant women, exercise books for pregnant women  and books on maternal and child health (MCH). Based on the results of community service activities with participants of 40 pregnant women there was an increase in correct answers to all participants after participating in class activities for snakes ladderss of pregnant women. From the pre-test result it turns out that most of the results obtained were less than 60. This shows that the knowledge ability of pregnant women is still lacking. However, after holding the snakes ladder pregnant class, there was an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women with an increase in the post-test score point in the range between 21-30 (47.5%).

The Covid-19 pandemic gave birth to a new civilization era where people were asked to adapt to this pandemic condition. This also applies to maternal and child health services, especially antenatal care. The highest cause of death in Indonesia in 2019 is due to bleeding, which can be influenced by low hemoglobin levels or what is commonly known as anemia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between first trimester visits and anemia screening in pregnant women. The research method used was cross sectional, using google form media to fill out questionnaires and screen shots of the MCH book. The statistical test in this study used Pearson. The results showed that there was no relationship between the first trimester visit and anemia screening, which was obtained by the Pearson statistical test value sig = 0.189> 0.05, which means that there was no relationship between the first trimester visit and the examination of hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. The conclusion that can be drawn is that even though we are now entering a new civilization era where there are several regions that implement Large-Scale Social Restrictions and which in Maternal and Child Health services, especially pregnancy examinations, can still be implemented, government policies in the new civilization era during the 1st trimester visit are focused on screening of maternal health conditions for complications in pregnancy, and especially regarding referrals if there are complications in her pregnancy and management of pregnant women with Covid-19, so that this can prevent transmission of Covid-19.

ABSTRACTStunting is a linear growth disorder considered as a serious health problem in Indonesia, where its prevalence is related to maternal and child health (MCH) services. This study aimed to compare the coverage of maternal and child health services between two surveys and analyze how they relate to the prevalence of stunting. The study used aggregate data from the 2013 and 2018 Basic Health Research Reports using a cross-sectional approach. The research sample spanned to 34 provinces in Indonesia. Stunting prevalence was taken as aggregate data from individuals based on height-for-age z-scores (HAZ). The independent variable was the achievement of MCH service indicators. Data analysis used variance measures, correlations, simple linear regression, and paired T-tests. The results found variations in the prevalence of stunting, with 25.4% in 2013 and 25.1% in 2018. There was a 7.4% decrease in severe stunting prevalence between 2013 and 2018, but the decrease was not significant (p = 0.506). The analysis results of the 2013 Basic Health Research showed that MCH service indicators related to stunting prevalence were coverage of antenatal care, iron consumption, delivery by health personnel, delivery in health facilities, postpartum maternal health services, low birth weight (LBW) prevalence, neonatal examination, complete immunization, health card ownership, and growth monitoring. The analysis results of the 2018 Basic Health Research showed that MCH indicators were related to the prevalence of antenatal care coverage, delivery by health personnel, and delivery in health facilities, postpartum maternal health services, LBW prevalence, neonatal examination, and complete immunization. There was a significant increase in the coverage of MCH services from 2013 and 2018 (p < 0.0001), except for the coverage of Fe tablet consumption, the prevalence of stunted birth babies, ownership of health cards, provision of vitamin A, and provision of colostrum. The better the coverage of MCH services, the lower the stunting prevalence. Efforts to improve the MCH service programs are required to reduce the prevalence of stunting for Indonesian children. Keywords: stunting, children under five years old, coverage of maternal and child health services
