Kata Kunci: Sayur, Kripik Bayam, Gula Aren  ABSTRACTThe age of 5-10 years is the age of maximum growth. At this time children experience a period of growth and development that requires food consumption with balanced nutrition. The results of the 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) show that the proportion of fruit/vegetable consumption per day of the week in the population aged 5 years 5 portions in NTT Province is 7.61% and specifically in Manggarai Regency it is lower at 4.49%. These results differ greatly from the recommendations issued by WHO, that consumption of fruit and vegetables is 400 g (5 servings) per day for all age groups. The main problem experienced by children is their lack of interest in consuming vegetables. The purpose of making spinach chips mixed with palm sugar (Amaranthus Gengeticus Arenga Pinuata), is to produce an innovative snack made from spinach as an alternative for nutritional fulfillment in children. This activity was carried out in Wae Rii Subdistrict, Manggarai Regency, NTT in July 2021. As a result, 90% of children said these chips were delicious to eat and became an alternative nutritious snack for them. Keywords: Vegetables, Spinach Chips, Palm Sugar

In the state of Chiapas, Mexico, there are numerous rural communities located in isolated territories and away from important population centers. Families, in essence, have indigenous roots and low economic incomes and, because of this condition, their homes are precarious, unsafe and unhealthy, with many limitations to access basic water and sanitation services, as well as basic health services, recreation, education, communication, etc. This study analyzed the housing and habitat problem of the El Encanto community, located on the coast of Tapachula, Chiapas. As a result, structurally safe, economical and healthy housing proposals were developed, with water and sanitation services, functional spaces with sociocultural characteristics, typology and appropriate to environmental conditions, with the use of ecotechnologies and building materials of the place for the conservation of the environment and biodiversity, in addition, proposals for community equipment for habitat improvement were developed.

IntroductionHealth care for patients with chronic pathologies was scarce and limited worldwide during the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge for clinical and biomedical engineers is to develop a bridging system to maintain the basic health services for chronic pathologies. Populations living in low-income countries did not have access to basic health services during the pandemic and depended on the scarce resources of their emergency health system. There were also equity issues between urban and rural populations. In this context, telemedicine tools should be directed toward maintaining the basic health services for patients with chronic pathologies. This study evaluated the results of a telemedicine system in remote public hospitals in Paraguay to show how health care for patients with chronic pathologies has been maintained by providing access to tertiary level diagnostic services by specialists.MethodsThis descriptive study evaluated the results of using telemedicine between 2014 and 2020 for diagnosis in remote public hospitals to bridge the gap in providing basic health services for patients with chronic pathologies during the COVID-19 pandemic.ResultsA total of 620,289 telediagnoses were performed in 67 hospitals. The 399,806 electrocardiogram diagnoses performed in 61 hospitals were normal (62%) or showed unspecified arrhythmias (13%) and sinus bradycardia (10%). The 207,597 teletomography tests performed in 12 hospitals were performed on the head because of motorcycle accidents and cerebrovascular diseases (54%), on the chest (14%), and other anatomical regions. The 12,867 electroencephalograms performed in 19 hospitals were for the antecedents of seizure (54%), evolutionary controls (14%), and headache (12%). The 19 ultrasound studies corresponded to prenatal controls.ConclusionsAlthough the telemedicine tool implemented in public health to bridge the gap in basic health services for patients with chronic pathologies during the COVID-19 pandemic offered better equity in the provision of services in remote locations, a widespread use assessment should be undertaken before this tool is adopted.

PurposeThe present research aims to evaluate the quality of services provided by the Basic Health Units (UBS) of the Unified Health System (SUS) located in the city of Recife, in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil, using the Kano model integrated with the dimensions of quality proposed by the service quality (SERVQUAL) model.Design/methodology/approachThe research was classified as bibliographic, descriptive, quantitative and surveyable. A structured questionnaire based on the Kano Model integrated with the dimensions of quality proposed by the SERVQUAL model, applied online through Google Forms. The questionnaires were distributed on social networks, obtaining a non-probabilistic sample of 120 individuals, collected for convenience.FindingsThrough the analysis of the Kano Model, it was possible to observe that all the investigated attributes are classified as one-dimensional. Among the attributes that deserve to be highlighted are attributes “Clean and pleasant environment”, “Reliability and security of information”, “Knowledge of employees to perform services”, “Service performed in the promised time”, “Polite and kind staff in dealing with users” and “Effectiveness of the service provided” due to having the longest intervals when considering the satisfaction and dissatisfaction coefficients, above 1.575. These attributes must be considered as critical priorities when implementing improvements, since their presence considerably increases users' satisfaction, as well as their absence generates great dissatisfaction.Originality/valueThe research is original and justified by the potential use of a quality assessment tool in the public health service, especially primary care. It is noteworthy that there are few works that integrate the Kano and SERVQUAL models applied in the public health service and that this integration can contribute to the national and international literature, mainly in the identification and prioritization of areas for improvement.
