AbstractThe paper is a continuation of the publication under the title “Acoustic diagnostics applications in the study of technical condition of combustion engine” and concerns the detailed description of decision support system for identifying technical condition (type of failure) of specified combustion engine. The input data were measured sound pressure levels of specific faults in comparison to the noise generated by undamaged motor. In the article, the whole procedure of decision method based on game graphs is described, as well as the interface of the program for direct usage.

Megasite Management Tool (MMT) is planning and evaluation software for contaminated sites. Using different statistical modules, MMT produces maps which help decision makers in rehabilitating contaminated sites. The input data used by MMT is of geographic nature and exists as shapefile and raster format. As MMT is built using simple windows forms application, the objective of the study was to find a way to visualize geographic data and to allow the user to edit its attribute information. Therefore, the application requirement was to find GIS libraries which offer capabilities such as (1) map viewer with navigation tools (2) library to read/write geographic data and (3) software which allows free distribution of the developed components. A research on these requirements led to the discovery of MapWindow ActiveX components which not only offered these capabilities but also provided free and open source licensing options for redistribution. Although considerable amount of reports and publications exist on MMT, the major contribution provided by MapWindow libraries have been under played. The current study emphasises upon the contribution and advantages MapWindow ActiveX provides for incorporating GIS functionality to an already existing application. Similar components for other languages have also been reviewed.

Decision makers require a versatile framework that responds and adjusts to the always changing business conditions. The personal information handling arrangement of an organization can offer the least help since it identified with exchanges. For this situation, the decision support system (DSS) joins human abilities with the abilities of PCs to give productive administration of information, announcing, investigation, displaying, and arranging issues. DSS provides a refinement between organized, semi-organized, and unstructured data. Specifically, a DSS lessens the amount of data to a ridiculous organized sum; because of this, choices are made to help the assembling procedure. The objective of these frameworks is to prevent issues inside the generation procedure. This chapter gives an outline of the state-of-the-art craftsmanship writing on DSS and portrays current methods of DSS-related applications inside assembling situations.

The article is devoted to the substantiation of the structure of the decision support system for the simplification of control procedures at road checkpoints across the state border. As a result of the research, the structure of the decision support system for simplification of control procedures at road checkpoints is proposed. The structure is based on the analysis of the border control process at road checkpoints and technological features of its simplification, analysis of decision support models for the organization and technology of border control simplification, as well as analysis of problematic aspects of their implementation and identification of possible solutions. The article substantiates that the basis of the database management system models of the studied decision support system should be a model for determining the need for simplification of border control at road checkpoints, a model for determining the duration of simplification of border control and a model for selecting appropriate control actions for individuals and vehicles. queues. The basis of the database management system of the studied decision support system should be databases relating to the situation at the checkpoint, which changes dynamically over time, the characteristics of the queue of vehicles, tactical and technical characteristics of those vehicles from which the queue may be formed. car checkpoint, departmental database "Gart - 1 P", a database concerning the rules of crossing the state border, a database of information signs of offenses at the state border and risk profiles.

Decision support system (SPK) as a system that can process input data into one information that can be used as a more accurate decision support for the school in recommending students who meet the categories or requirements in following the Job Training. The system that was built carried out the process of determining decision support based on the Vise Kriterijumska Optimizajica I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method which is able to simplify complex problems in determining feasible to follow the On The Job Trainings based on criteria using formulas whose results are right on target.

Decision Support System is a branch of artificial intelligence used to help make decisions in semi-structured cases, where it is not known exactly how decisions should be made. In this research, the design and making of decision support system that is used to help determine the nutritional status of children with weight input, age, height, head circumference, nutrition value of toddlers and the output of nutritional status of children under five and their handling. The problem of data uncertainty in decision support system is solved by using fuzzy mamdani method. The existence of data uncertainty in the process can occur because of the differences in existing calculations on the system. The process of determining the nutritional status of this decision support system is begun by entering the input data of toddlers, where the system will display some variables that have been made then start the calculation with the application. The end result of this research is decision support system to do nutritional handling in toddler along with their nutrition result. The calculations show the level of confidence in the system of nutritional status of the toddler and from the results of this study obtained the system accuracy of 83.33% of the 18 test data that has been tested is obtained. Therefore, it can be concluded that decision support system produces a good examination.  Keywords: Decision Support System, Fuzzy Mamdani, Underfive Nutrition
