The internet is the main source of news for Brazilians, the smartphone is the preferred device to reach them and social media have overtaken television as the hegemonic journalistic medium. Fragmented journalism in cyberspace demands new narratives, new media formats, production and distribution processes. Algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) systems already perform many tasks, the profession reshapes itself and the teaching of digital journalism needs to keep up with the transformations. This article proposes multifaceted applied research as a way to develop narratives, apparatuses, production management systems and didactics capable of keeping up with technological evolutions and train journalists capable of researching and working in mutant environments.

The purpose of the paper is to determine the impact of innovative technologies of artificial intelligence on the modernization of logistics infrastructure, the formation of new forms of logistics networks of Industry 4.0. Methodology. The survey is based on a study of the main trends in the field of logistics infrastructure development, analysis of the latest forms and methods of using artificial intelligence technologies in various fields. The study considers the forecasts of IDC “IDC Future Scape: Worldwide Digital Transformation 2021” and contains an assessment of the volume and effectiveness of investment in this area. The results of the survey showed that in addition to the radical transformation of the logistics network itself, the use of artificial intelligence technologies will lead to qualitative changes in the labor market. There is still the tendency to reduce the need for logisticians performing operational functions – automation of warehousing operations, unmanned stackers, and transporters instead of loaders and pickers will accelerate. Practical implications. The use of artificial intelligence technologies allows companies today to generate significant competitive advantages on this basis. However, soon this will not be an advantage, an indisputable condition for the company’s operation in the market of logistics services in general. Value/originality. The authors have highlighted the minimum quality and competencies required in the future, the presence of which in the company’s resource base will allow to use all the advantages of implementing innovative forms of piece intelligence - multi-competent knowledge in the areas of IT technologies, procurement and warehouse, transport, production and distribution logistics, mathematical analysis, and production management processes based on artificial intelligence.

One of the conditions for the future development of companies is the identification and use of digital capabilities. In recent years, the environment in which we live and work has changed radically. If the emergence of the Internet was revolutionary in the way we communicate and obtain information, currently the availability and mobility of technologies affects consumers' habits and promotes the transformation of classic business models. Aim of the study: to explore and learn about the development trends of digital marketing. Applied research methods: monographic descriptive method, analysis, synthesis, statistical method. The study based on scientific publications, statistics and other sources of information. The role played by representations in the lives of cities endows the study of their production and distribution in various media with importance. Today, the Internet, that amorphous network linking much of the world, is a powerful new media for the imagination of city spaces and hence in need of investigation. In this article, I focus on the online encyclopaedia Wikipedia, one of the most popular websites on the Internet. My aim is to explore the representations of two of the largest sub-Saharan African cities, Lagos and Kinshasa, in their respective Wikipedia articles. Wikipedia has been described as the encyclopaedia anyone can edit, suggesting that it is open to multiple perspectives on any particular topic. Given the history of how Africa in general has been either marginalized or conjured as an exotic or miserable “other” by much media work this potential for wider range of representations should not be overlooked. Does Wikipedia live up to its reputation in the case of Kinshasa and Lagos?

TV series are one of the very few ‘traditional’ media formats that continue to thrive in the current media landscape. In Europe, the format of TV series (i.e. serial audio-visual fictional narratives) has been surging for some time in terms of numbers of suppliers and consumers, as well as in shares of distributors’ offerings and consumers’ media use. Homegrown high-end original productions have become ‘calling cards’ for suppliers active in the European market(s). Subscription-based, pay-per-view, and advertising-based networks, as well as public service suppliers order and finance serial fiction. International players like Netflix, HBO, Sky, and Amazon invest in original (co-) productions in many countries. From a media economic perspective, the market entry of more and more ‘big tech’ and conglomerate players into the production and distribution of TV series is another indicator of the importance of the product TV series. The success of the format warrants extensive investigation. Nevertheless, compared to, e.g., cinema, ‘new’ media, and political communication, the attention of scholars in communication/media science and other disciplines still seems surprisingly modest, particularly in Europe. Some noteworthy European works on fictional TV series are Schlütz (2016), Redvall (2013), Gormász (2015), and the scientific journal Series – International Journal of TV Serial Narratives (series.unibo.it). Ursula Ganz’s work Signs of Time was accepted as a habilitation thesis in 2009, and an adapted form was published in 2018. The thesis thus represents somewhat of a European premiere in discussing in great detail and depth what the term ‘(audiovisual) cumulative narrative’ entails and how the central feature of accumulation impacts the analysis of narrative as communication and reflective stance.
