<p>Motivated by the new notion of intuitionistic fuzzy normed ideal, we present and investigate some associated properties of intuitionistic fuzzy normed ideals. We describe the intrinsic product of any two intuitionistic fuzzy normed subsets and show that the intrinsic product of intuitionistic fuzzy normed ideals is a subset of the intersection of these ideals. We specify the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy normed prime ideal and intuitionistic fuzzy normed maximal ideal, we present the conditions under which a given intuitionistic fuzzy normed ideal is considered to be an intuitionistic fuzzy normed prime (maximal) ideal. In addition, the relation between the intuitionistic characteristic function and prime and maximal ideals is generalized. Finally, we characterize relevant properties of intuitionistic fuzzy normed prime ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy normed maximal ideals.</p>

George Klir and Bo Yuan named after Lotfi Zadeh the implication p→q=max(1−p,min(p,q)) (also Early Zadeh implication). In a series of papers, the author introduced two intuitionistic fuzzy forms of Zadeh’s implication and studied their basic properties. In the present paper, a new (third) intuitionistic fuzzy form of Zadeh’s implication is proposed and some of its properties are studied.

The concept of fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy sets (FNIFSs) is designed to effectively depict uncertain information in decision making problems which fundamental characteristic of the FNIFS is that the values of its membership function and non-membership function are depicted with triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs). The dual Hamy mean (DHM) operator gets good performance in the process of information aggregation due to its ability to capturing the interrelationships among aggregated values. In this paper, we used the dual Hamy mean (DHM) operator and dual weighted Hamy mean (WDHM) operator with fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (FNIFNs) to propose the fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy dual Hamy mean (FNIFDHM) operator and fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy weighted dual Hamy mean (FNIFWDHM) operator. Then the MADM methods are proposed along with these operators. In the end, we utilize an applicable example for computer network security evaluation to prove the proposed methods.

A convex subnearlattice of a nearlattice S containing a fixed element n?S is called an n-ideal. The n-ideal generated by a single element is called a principal n-ideal. The set of finitely generated principal n-ideals is denoted by Pn(S), which is a nearlattice. A distributive nearlattice S with 0 is called m-normal if its every prime ideal contains at most m number of minimal prime ideals. In this paper, we include several characterizations of those Pn(S) which form m-normal nearlattices. We also show that Pn(S) is m-normal if and only if for any m+1 distinct minimal prime n-ideals Po,P1,…., Pm of S, Po ? … ? Pm = S. In this chapter a new concept named Intuitionistic Fuzzy Multiset is introduced, which is an attempt to combine the two concepts: Intuitionistic Fuzzy sets and Fuzzy Multisets. The basic operations and their various properties are discussed. The authors discussed two significant applications of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Multisets. Most of human reasoning involves the use of variables whose values are fuzzy sets. This is the basis for the concept of a linguistic variable. But in some situations like decision making problems, the description by a linguistic variable in terms of membership function only is not adequate. There is chance of existing a non-null complement. There are situations that each element has different membership values. In such situations Intuitionistic Fuzzy Multisets is more adequate. Here the authors present Intuitionistic Fuzzy Multisets as a tool for reasoning such a situation through a medical diagnosis problem. As the second application, accuracy of Collaborative Robots using the concept of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Multiset is discussed.

The main goal of this paper is to introduce the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy normed rings and to establish basic properties related to it. We extend normed rings by incorporating the idea of intuitionistic fuzzy to normed rings, we develop a new structure of fuzzy rings which will be called an intuitionistic fuzzy normed ring. As an extension of intuitionistic fuzzy normed rings, we define the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy normed subrings and intuitionistic fuzzy normed ideals. Some essential operations specially subset, complement, union, intersection and several properties relating to the notion of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy normed rings are identified. Homomorphism and isomorphism of intuitionistic fuzzy normed subrings are characterized. We identify the image and the inverse image of intuitionistic fuzzy normed subrings under ring homomorphism and study their elementary properties. Some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy normed rings and relevant examples are presented.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of L-fuzzy semiprime ideal in a general poset. Characterizations of L-fuzzy semiprime ideals in posets as well as characterizations of an L-fuzzy semiprime ideal to be L-fuzzy prime ideal are obtained. Also, L-fuzzy prime ideals in a poset are characterized.

We investigate and propose two new Bonferroni means, that is, the optimized weighted BM (OWBM) and the generalized optimized weighted BM (GOWBM), whose characteristics are to reflect the preference and interrelationship of the aggregated arguments and can satisfy the basic properties of the aggregation techniques simultaneously. Further, we propose the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy optimized weighted Bonferroni mean (IIFOWBM) and the generalized interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy optimized weighted Bonferroni mean (GIIFOWBM) and detailed study of their desirable properties such as idempotency, monotonicity, transformation, and boundary. Finally, based on IIFOWBM and GIIFOWBM, we give an approach to group decision making under the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment and utilize a practical case involving the assessment of a set of agroecological regions in Hubei Province, China, to illustrate the developed methods.

This is the second of two papers based on Chapter V of the author's Ph.D. thesis [K1]. For acknowledgements please refer to [K3]. In this paper I apply some of the ideas and techniques introduced in [K3] to the study of a very specific example. I obtain an upper bound for the positive Deissler rank of an injective module over a commutative Noetherian ring in terms of Krull dimension. The problem of finding lower bounds is vastly more difficult and is not addressed here, although I make a few comments and a conjecture at the end.For notation, terminology and definitions, I refer the reader to [K3]. I also use material on ideals and injective modules from [N] and [Ma]. Deissler's rank was introduced in [D].For the most part, in this paper all modules are unitary left modules over a commutative Noetherian ring Λ but in §1 I begin with a few useful results on totally transcendental modules and the relation between Deissler's rank rk and rk+.Recall that if P is a prime ideal of Λ, then an ideal I of Λ is P-primary if I ⊂ P, λ ∈ P implies that λn ∈ I for some n and if λµ ∈ I, λ ∉ P, then µ ∈ I. The intersection of finitely many P-primary ideals is again P-primary, and any P-primary ideal can be written as the intersection of finitely many irreducible P-primary ideals since Λ is Noetherian. Every irreducible ideal is P-primary for some prime ideal P. In addition, it will be important to recall that if P and Q are prime ideals, I is P-primary, J is Q-primary, and J ⊃ I, then Q ⊃ P. (All of these results can be found in [N].)

For a field of definition [Formula: see text] of an abelian variety [Formula: see text] and prime ideal [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text] which is of a good reduction for [Formula: see text], the structure of [Formula: see text] as abelian group is: [Formula: see text] where [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see text]. We are interested in finding an asymptotic formula for the number of prime ideals [Formula: see text] with [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] has a good reduction at [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text]. We succeed in proving this under the assumption of the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis (GRH). Unconditionally, we achieve a short range asymptotic for abelian varieties of CM type, and the full cyclicity theorem for elliptic curves over a number field containing the CM field.
