During in-situ radiation damage experiments aiming on the investigation of vacancy-migration properties interstitial-type dislocation loops are used as probes monitoring the development of the point defect concentrations. The temperature dependence of the loop-growth rate v is analyzed in terms of reaction-rate theory yielding information on the vacancy migration enthalpy. The relation between v and the point-defect production rate P provides a critical test of such a treatment since it is sensitive to the defect reactions which are dominant. If mutual recombination of vacancies and interstitials is the dominant reaction, vαP0.5 holds. If, however, annihilation of the defects at unsaturable sinks determines the concentrations, a linear relationship vαP is expected.Detailed studies in pure bcc-metals yielded vαPx with 0.7≾×≾1.0 showing that besides recombination of vacancies and interstitials annihilation at sinks plays an important role in the concentration development which has properly to be incorporated into the rate equations.

The VoIP communication system at OMNI Hospital Alam Sutera uses the Elastix 2.5 server with the Centos 5.11 operating system. Elastix 2.5 by the developer has been declared End of Life. The server security system is a serious concern considering that VoIP servers can be accessed from the internet. Iptables and fail2ban applications are applications that are used to limit and counteract those who try to attack the VoIP server. One application that can be used as an open source VoIP server is the Issabel Application version 4.0. The migration process from Elastix 2.5 application to Issabel 4.0 by backing up all configurations in the Elastix 2.5 application through a web browser including the configuration of endpoints, fax, e-mail, asterisk. After the backup file is downloaded then upload the backup file to the Issabel 4.0 application then run the migration process. Adding a backup path as a failover connection is needed because the VoIP communication protocol between the OMNI Hospitals Group still uses one path so that when there is a problem in the connection path, the communication protocol will stop. The tunnel EoIP is a protocol used as a backup path between the OMNI Hospitals Group site.

Labor markets have the three R functions of recruiting workers, remunerating them to encourage them to perform their jobs satisfactorily, and retaining experienced and productive workers. Employers in one country and jobs in another complicate these three Rs, especially recruitment, which is why both employers and workers often turn to private recruiters to act as intermediaries between jobs and workers. Recruiters are most deeply involved in the second phase of the four-phase labor migration process—matching workers with jobs. Indeed, the fact that recruiters rarely visit the workplaces to which they send workers, and do not always expect to send more workers to particular employers, reduces their incentives to make good worker–job matches.

AbstractFrom the mechanical perspectives, the influence of point defects is generally considered at high temperature, especially when the creep deformation dominates. Here, we show the stress-induced reversible oxygen vacancy migration in CuO nanowires at room temperature, causing the unanticipated anelastic deformation. The anelastic strain is associated with the nucleation of oxygen-deficient CuOx phase, which gradually transforms back to CuO after stress releasing, leading to the gradual recovery of the nanowire shape. Detailed analysis reveals an oxygen deficient metastable CuOx phase that has been overlooked in the literatures. Both theoretical and experimental investigations faithfully predict the oxygen vacancy diffusion pathways in CuO. Our finding facilitates a better understanding of the complicated mechanical behaviors in materials, which could also be relevant across multiple scientific disciplines, such as high-temperature superconductivity and solid-state chemistry in Cu-O compounds, etc.

This study explores the role of China's rural local state-owned and urban state-owned units in its rural-urban migration process. Most studies on Chinese migration have focused on migrants moving from rural to urban areas through informal mechanisms outside of the state's control. They therefore treat the Chinese state as an obstructionist force and dismiss its facilitative role in the migration process. By documenting rural local states' “labor export” strategies and urban state units' employment of millions of peasants, this article provides a corrective to the existing literature.
