A cooperative is a governmental organization established to enhance economic growth and national unity. As the development of the law on cooperatives, the present and developing institutions similar to Savings and Loan Union is called Credit Union. A cooperative is very vulnerable to the risk of loss. Insecurity is possible because of the tendency of accounting fraud. Some things that can affect the tendency of accounting fraud are internal control, compliance compensation, and information asymmetry. This research aims to determine whether there is any influence of internal control system effectiveness, compensation compliance, and information asymmetry on the tendency of accounting fraud. The research uses the quantitative method, and the research subject is Sehati Credit Union. The research data consist of primary and secondary data, especially the purposive sampling data which are collected from 36 respondents. Whereas, the data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21 software for Windows. The research concludes that the effectiveness of internal control system has a partially positive significant influence on the tendency of accounting fraud, compensation compliance has a partially negative significant influence on the tendency of accounting fraud, and information asymmetry has a partially positive significant influence on the tendency of accounting fraud. It means that the effectiveness of the internal control system, compensation compliance, and the information asymmetry have significant influences on the tendency of accounting fraud. Theoretical basis The impact of corporate governance on internal controls and quality of financial disclosures. Research methodology Analysis of a real financial fraud event for a non-US multinational corporation. The case relies on accessing and analyzing annual reports for the firm, both before and after the fraud. Additional information on industry governance characteristics are provided in the case itself so that students can compare the firm to the industry. Case overview/synopsis This business case is centered on the analysis of Schneider Electric, a French multinational corporation, which had to restate their financial statements in 2011 because of accounting fraud. Following this event, Schneider undertook major changes in their board structure to improve internal control mechanisms. This pedagogical business case familiarizes students with international differences in ownership and board structure and emphasizes potential corporate governance changes after financial statement fraud. Complexity academic level Managerial finance, corporate finance, international finance, auditing. This case is more appropriate for upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses.

This research is carried out to prove factors of tendency of accounting fraud in companies empirically. Variable used in predicting the tendency of accounting fraud is profitability level, capital turnover, financial leverage, assets composition, and firm size tendency of accounting fraud. The population is companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange that are suspected to fraud the accounting during observation year 2013 2015. Samples are taken by using purposive sampling, there are 12 companies are proven to be done fraud accounting and 12 companies are not. Data is analysed by using logistic regression analysis and Hosmer and Lemeshow test to measure the model. The result shows that capital turnover and assets composition has significant influence on tendency of accounting fraud. Besides, profitability, financial leverage, and firm size has insignificant influence on tendency of accounting fraud variable. This research concluded that capital turnover and assets composition can be used as predictor of tendency of accounting fraud in a company.

<span lang="EN">This study aims to determine the effect of individual morality, information asymmetry, the effectiveness of internal control, and organizational justice on the tendency of accounting fraud on BUMD in Surakarta. The theories used in this study are the Triangle Fraud Theory, Agency Theory, and Moral Reasoning Theory. The population of this study is employees who work in the Regional Owned Enterprises in the Surakarta City area. This study sampled administrative staff at the BUMD Surakarta region. The sampling method in this study using purposive sampling method. The tests carried out include testing validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that information asymmetry, the effectiveness of internal controls, and organizational justice had a positive effect on fraudulent tendencies. While the variabels of individual morality negatively affect the tendency of fraud.</span>

In todays financial markets there is a great deal of pressure for corporations to meet investors earnings expectations. Failure to do so may result in the loss of millions of dollars in stock capitalization. As a result, an increasing number of corporate executives have succumbed to the temptation to manage their earnings in order to achieve targeted profits. The number of companies under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for possible accounting fraud related to earnings management has increased significantly in recent years. This article identifies and discusses four common areas of potential financial reporting abuse: restructuring costs, miscellaneous reserve accounts, materiality, and manipulation of revenue recognition. In addition, this paper discusses the vital role of accounting professionals as gatekeepers responsible for helping to maintain the viability of our financial markets.

<span class="fontstyle0">This research aimed to examine the influence of compliance on accounting rules, unethical behavior, compliance compensation, and organizational commitment on tendency of accounting fraud. Populations of this research are BUMN company in Jakarta city. The samples in this research are 85 official servants. The technical sampling of this research uses random sampling. Data of this research obtained from directors and accounting staff. Type of data used are primary data. Data collection method used is survey, using questionnaire. Analysis used multiple linear regression. The results indicated that there is the negative effect among compliance to accounting rules and compliance compensation on towards tendency of accounting fraud, there is the positive effect among unethical behavior towards tendency of accounting fraud, and there is no effect among organizational commitment towards tendency of accounting fraud in BUMN</span>
