Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMP kelas VIII semester genap dengan model problem-based learning berorientasi pada prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan sikap percaya diri siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan model Plomp (penelitian awal, pengembangan, penilaian). Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Katolik Maria Goretti Ende. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi data kuantitatif berupa skor hasil penilaian menjadi data kualitatif berupa nilai standar skala lima. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika kelas VIII semester genap berupa RPP dan LKS. Dari hasil validasi ahli, skor penilaian guru, penilaian siswa, observasi keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, tes prestasi belajar, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan angket sikap percaya diri menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS adalah valid, praktis, dan efektif.Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, problem-based learning, prestasi belajar, pemecahan masalah, percaya diri Developing Mathematics Learning Kits Using the Problem-Based Learning Model for Grade VIII of JHS in the Even Semester AbstractThis study aimed to produce mathematics learning kits using the problem based learning model oriented to the learning achievement, problem solving skill, and self-confidence for Grade VIII students of the junior high school (JHS) in the even semester. This study was and development study used the development model by Plomp (preliminary study, development, evaluation). The research subjects were teachers and students of Grade VIII of Swasta Katolik Maria Goretti Ende. The analysis of the data was done by converting the quantitative data in the form scores as the results of the evaluation into qualitative data in the form of five-scale standard scores. This study produce mathematics learning kits in the form of lesson plans and student worksheets for Grade VIII students of the junior high school in the even semester. Of the results of expert validation, a teacher evaluation scores, a students evaluation scores, an observation for the implementation of learning activities, a learning achievement test, a problem solving skil test, and a self-confidence questionnaire show that lesson plans (RPP)  and student worksheets (LKS) is valid, practical, and effective. The learning independence of students is still low as the background of the implementation of this research. The purpose of this research is to describe the independence of students using Lesson study and Problem Based Learning models in mathematics learning. This type of research is descriptive research. The population is all students of class VIII of Junior High School Pertiwi 2 Padang in 2019/2020. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and determined class VIII-2. The research instruments were the learning independence questionnaire and the Lesson Study observation sheet. Analysis of learning independence data is described based on the results of the pretest and protest scores. The Lesson Study was carried out in 4 rounds using the Problem Based Learning model which included Plan, do, and See activities. The results showed that there was an increase in students' learning independence through the implementation of Lesson study with the Problem Based Learning model.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan representasi matematis dan Self Confindece siswa SMP melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang siswa kelas VII. Pengambilan siswa berdasarkan hasil tes dan konsultasi dengan guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data kemampuan representasi matematis selama proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL berupa hasil tes individu setiap pertemuan, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data Self Confidece siswa berupa angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model PBL dapat membantu menumbuhkan perkembangan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa terlihat dari hasil tes individu setiap pertemuan dan hasil wawancara semi terstruktur siswa. Meskipun siswa belum dapat memenuhi semua indikator yang diukur, namun terlihat sebahagian besar siswa telah dapat memenuhi sebahagian besar  indikator representasi matematis yaitu (1) menyajikan data atau informasi dari suatu masalah ke representasi gambar, diagram, grafik atau tabel, (2) menyelesaikan masalah yang melibatkan ekspresi matematis. Hanya satu indikator kemampuan representasi matematis yang tidak terpenuhi yaitu  menuliskan langkah-langkah penyelesaian masalah matematika. Kemampuan Self Confindece siswa mengalami perkembangan secara klasikal dan memiliki dampak positif terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran PBL sesuai dengan indikator Self Confindece. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang pentingnya melatih siswa menjawab soal non-routin melalui pembelajaran. Tantangan bagi guru untuk membiasakan siswa merepresentasi dan  melakukan langkah-langkah penyelesaian masalah secara sistematis serta memiliki kepercayaan diri dalam menjawab soal. Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan guru berpengaruh terhadap terbentuknya kebiasaan siswa. Data collection was performed using semi-structured tests and interviews.The instrument used to obtain mathematical representation ability data during the learning process by using the PBL learning model in the form of individual test results at each meeting, while the instrument used to obtain students' Self Confidence data in the form of a questionnaire.The results was  showed that learn with the PBL model can help students to grow the development of students 'mathematical representation abilities seen from the results of individual tests at each meeting and the results of students' semi-structured interviews. Although students have not been able to meet all the measured indicators, it appears that most students have been able to meet most of the mathematical representation indicators, namely (1) presenting data or information from a problem to the representation of images, diagrams, graphs or tables, (2) solving problems that involves mathematical expressions. Only one indicator of mathematical representation ability that is not fulfilled is to write steps to solve mathematical problems. The ability of Self Confindece students have developed classically and has a positive impact on the ability of students' mathematical representation of the PBL learning process in accordance with the Self Confindece indicator. This study provides an overview of the importance of training students to answer non-routin problems through learning. The challenge for the teacher is to get the students to represent and take steps to solve problems systematically and have confidence in answering questions. Problem solving ability is a skill that each student must have in mathematics learning. But the fact is, there were many students who are constrained when faced to solving mathematic problem. This situation happens due to the student�s habit to imitate the teacher�s answer that is given during the learning. When the student is given a different kind of problem, they were confused and not able to finish it. This papers discuss the results of problem-based learning to the problem-solving ability for the junior high school student. The study begins by designing problem-based learning devices, followed by applying of the device in learning process, then examined the impact on the problem solving ability of the junior high school student. The results showed that problem-based learning have a positive impact on the problem solving ability of junior high school student.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, (2) peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan (3) tanggapan siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja sebanyak 32 orang siswa.Data motivasi siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi, data prestasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes prestasi belajar, dan tanggapan siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan angket tanggapan siswa. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan dan rata-rata skor tanggapan siswa telah berada dalam katagori positif.Kata kunci:       Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Motivasi Belajar   Matematika, Prestasi Belajar Matematika AbstractThis study aims to find out: (1) an increase in mathematics learning motivation of VIII B class students of Singaraja 7 Junior High School through the application of problem-based learning models, (2) improvement of mathematics learning achievement of VIII B class students of Singaraja 7 Junior High School through the application of problem-based learning models, and ( 3) responses of students of class VIII B of SMPN 7 Singaraja to problem-based learning models. This research is a classroom action research which is carried out in three cycles with the research subjects being students of class VIII B of SMPN 7 Singaraja as many as 32 students. Student motivation data was collected using motivation questionnaire, student achievement data were collected using learning achievement tests, and student responses were collected using student response questionnaires. The data that has been collected is then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the motivation and achievement of students' mathematics learning had increased and the average response score of students had been in the positive category.Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Mathematics Learning Motivation, Mathematics Learning Achievement

Abstract. This research was conducted based on the lowed capacity draf knowled matematic the student in junior high school one Pasir Penyu. The purpose this research was to obtain draf knowled matematic the student of useing learning model problem solving. The research desain of use randomied subjects Posttest Only Control Group Desin. Data analisis technique in testing used t-tes. The results of analysis was gotteh thet tcount = 2,950 and ttable = 2,0003.
