Designing a Performance Management System (PMS) is anintegral part of management control systems. This paper presents ahybrid framework for the design of a PMS for the Indonesiancontext, and the tailor-made design is expected to overcome theshortcomings of earlier models. The present hybrid PMS modelseeks to improve the earlier research models using the followingnovel approaches: (1) implementation of a Knowledge-Based (KB)expert system, (2) Gauging Absences of Prerequisite (GAP) analysis, and (3) Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology in anintegrated KBPMS. The paper shows that the present hybrid (KB-AHP-GAP) approach to developing a PMS model is a realisticmethodology. The combination of the KB-AHP-GAP approachallows detailed benchmarking of the PMS existing in an Indonesiancompany. Furthermore, this approach can assist in identifying andprioritising the key decisions that need to be executed to overcomethe existing PMS shortcomings.symbiotic strategic alliances. Con-versely, affiliate firms prefer competitive strategic alliances withcompetitors when they are not dependent on the parent firm.

This paper explores how companies are focusing to evaluate the performance management system that attempts to promote sustainable development and its competitive position, or even have a sustainable competitive advantage. Under the influence of control variables such as the environment, the social responsibility, the strategy and the stakeholders, we conceptualize a performance management system (PMS) able to reach these goals. We take a case study approach using questionnaire survey sent to 306 Tunisian industrial companies, supported by exploratory and confirmatory analysis. The results of the principal component factor analysis evidenced by Cronbach's alpha and KMO and the structural equations with indices of structural have devoted a good quality of adjustment. These results show the existence of a significant and positive relationship between the variables. This confirms that performance management system (PMS) influenced by the dimensions of social responsibility, environment, strategy and stakeholder interests had a positive impact on the integrated ecological business models (IEBM) and the environmental Management Control Systems (EMCS).

Findings: The results show that there are 30 points knowledges with 3 critical knowledges in the Department of Production. Research limitations/implications: The study focused only on E-Print product, especially for Department of Production. Practical implications: Knowledge is one of intangible assets in a company. PT.
