Composite Flowable Fabricated (CFF) as Enddodontic Dental Post alternative. Composite Flowable Fabrcated (CFF). CFF is composite resin that viscous and plastic which used as material to enhance the retention and stability of post endodontic treatment and restoration materials. NiTi post is prefabricated post endodontic that the insertion needs luting material. This study was to explore, analyze, and compare CCF (plastic) and NiTi (rigid) post endodontic as alternative of post endodontic that is compatible. This study used element sample of maxillary incisive tooth. All of teeth sample was taken treatment that was appropriate with the groups. the procedure of CFF post group was to make application of flowable composite in root canal up to full that had been done taking of gutta percha as deep as 2/3 of root canal length and left 1/3 gutta percha in apical area. Flowable composite was cured by LEDfor 20 seconds. Treatment of NiTi post group was same with CCF post group, the different NiTi post was inserted using glass ionomer luting type 1. Furthermore all of tooth sample, prefabricated and fabricated, was tested by threebending point with ISO10477. The result showed that mean of NiTi post (stiffness= 115,30 N/mm; modulus elastisitas = 9,31 Gpa; flexural= 812 Gpa) was higher than CFF post (stiffness = 35 N/mm; modulus elastisitas = 3,45 Gpa; flexural= 475,8 GPa); and there was significant different between prefabricated (NiTi) dengan fabricated(CFF) post statistically. Although composite flowable can be used as alternative of post endodontic and needs further research that is suitable with standard of post materials.

Background: Posts that have been properly fitted can withstand torsion forces and so provide better retention. The push-out bonding strength of glass fiber posts to the root canal was evaluated using resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC) and flowable composite (FC). Method: Forty single-rooted maxillary central incisors were used in the study. The samples were randomly divided into two groups of 20 teeth each. The crown-down procedure was used to clean and shape the pulp area. A Tenax fiber trans Coltene whaletene post was used by both groups. The first group utilized FC (Filtek Z 350 3M ESPE) to coat the post, whereas the second group used RMGIC (Rely X 3M ESPE). The specimens were cross-sectioned after 24 h. Specimens were cross-sectioned four millimeters thick into coronal and middle parts using a sectioning machine, yielding 40 specimens per group. The strength of the bond between the luting cement and the posts was measured using push-out bond strength testing. We loaded the components at a cross speed of 0.5 mm/min on a universal testing machine until the bond failed. Results: The FC group had a 4.80 N push-out bond strength, whereas the RMGIC group had a 7.11 N push-out bond strength. Conclusion: FC’s mean push-out bond strength score is lower than RMGIC’s.

SUMMARY Purpose There is limited information in the literature regarding the effect of different endodontic sealers on the bond strength of fiber posts luted with core buildup materials. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of three different root canal sealers on the retentive strength of prefabricated fiber posts luted with a composite resin cement. Materials and Methods Fifty-four extracted single-rooted mandibular premolar teeth were prepared and randomly divided into three groups. The first two groups were obturated with gutta-percha and one of two eugenol-based root canal sealers (Endofil, Tubli-Seal). The third group (control) was obturated with gutta-percha and a resin-based root canal sealer (AH26). Prefabricated fiber posts were luted into the prepared post spaces with a composite resin cement (Multicore Flow). The pullout forces required for dislodgment of posts from their prepared post spaces were recorded. Data were collected and statistically analyzed. Results The AH26 group had significantly greater retentive strengths for the posts when compared with the Endofil and Tubli-Seal (eugenol-based sealers) groups (p<0.0001). There was no significant difference between the means of the retentive strengths for the Endofil and Tubli-Seal groups (p=0.745). Conclusion The chemical formulation of root canal sealers significantly affected the retentive strength for prefabricated fiber posts luted with a resin cement. Eugenol-based sealers significantly reduced the bond strength of prefabricated fiber posts luted with resin cement.

ABSTRACTIntroduction: Tooth discolouration post-endodontic treatment can be caused by root canal filling materials. The endodontic material left in the pulp chamber will infiltrate the dentinal tubules, thus causing staining. Intrinsic discolouration due to root canal filling is frequently seen in an endodontically-treated third cervical. Walking bleach is an internal bleaching technique used in post endodontic discolouration cases. The purpose of this case report was to describe the management of post-endodontic root canal discolouration with the walking bleach technique. Case report: A 20-year-old female patient came to Universitas Padjadjaran Dental Hospital (RSGM Unpad) with complaints that her maxillary anterior left teeth were brownish and disturbing her appearance. Clinical examination showed that tooth 21 had a mesiobuccal composite fill with intrinsic discolouration, in which the brownish colour was appearing predominantly in the cervical area. Vitality, percussion and palpation test results were negative. Radiological examination showed a radiopaque image resembling a root canal filling material from the pulp chamber to two-thirds of the root canal length. The diagnosis was previously treated tooth. Root canal re-treatment was carried out and followed by an internal bleaching procedure using the walking bleach technique. The gutta-percha was removed 3 mm below the orifice, and a glass ionomer cement barrier was made. 35% H2O2 paste was placed above the barrier and then covered with a glass ionomer spill. After one week of obtaining the appropriate colour, calcium hydroxide was applied to the pulp chamber. The tooth was restored with composite resin two weeks after. The application of 35% H2O2 paste using the walking bleach technique was proven to be able to restore the teeth colour. Conclusion: The walking bleach technique is one treatment option that can effectively treat intrinsic discolouration of non-vital teeth post-endodontic treatment. Keywords: Intrinsic discolouration, internal bleaching, walking bleach technique.
