The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of psychological well-being and role stress on auditor performance, with spiritual intelligence serving as a moderating variable. The data collection for this study was obtained from a questionnaire and was collected at the Bali Province Public Accountant Office. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling method with 54 auditors from the Bali Province Public Accountants as respondents. In this study, the interaction test MRA was used to analyze data. According to the findings of the study, psychological well-being has a positive effect on auditor performance. This research also shows that role stress can impair auditor performance. Auditors' spiritual intelligence has the potential to strengthen the relationship between psychological well-being and auditor performance. On the other hand, spiritual intelligence mitigates the impact of role stress on auditor performance. Keywords: Psychological Well-Being; Stress; Auditor Performance; Spiritual Intelligence.

The school counselor’s role is increasingly challenging with various demands of students’ problems and the issue of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic also affect students’ psychosocial and mental well-being. Therefore, school counselors need to equip themselves with high psychological well-being as a self-care factor to deal with burnout, instability, and work stress. This study aims to develop Psychological Well-Being Model among school counsellors. A total of 330 secondary school counsellors from four districts in Selangor were selected as the respondents using the group random sampling method. Data were collected through translated questionnaire instruments, namely Self Compassion Scale, Counselling Self Estimate Inventory, The Assessing Emotions Scale, Spiritual Involvement and Beliefs Scale Revised, and Psychological Well Being-Ryff. Confirmation Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) show that there is a significant positive relationship between self-compassion, counselling self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and the school counsellor’s psychological well-being. The findings also showed that self-compassion, counselling self-efficacy, emotional and spiritual intelligence affected 76.5% (R2 = 0.765) of variance in psychological well-being. This study is one of the earliest in presenting the school counsellor’s psychological well-being model who can contribute to Malaysian education. The implications of this study suggest that the elements of self-compassion, counselling self-efficacy, emotional and spiritual intelligence, and psychological well-being should be applied in the curriculum at the counsellor training level in university so that counsellors have adequate preparation in providing effective services in schools. The Ministry of Education Malaysia, on the other hand, needs to cultivate psychological well-being interventions regularly so that counsellors can always manage various students’ issues in schools as well as maintaining psychological well-being in terms of personnel and professionals.

Suicide behavior is one of a worrisome issue not only in Malaysia but all over the world. The World Population Review and Statista in 2019 reported suicide case in Malaysia was 5.5 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2016 and showed an increasing pattern for the past three years(WHO,2018) revealed that most of the suicide cases lead to mortality came from the age of 15 to 29 years old. The current study aims to explore the suicidal ideation issue of emerging adults between the age of 18 to 25 years old. During this period, they may face many challenges such as searching for self-identity, instabilities of life, and sudden loss of life direction due to no or few obligation and commitment to others, which may have an impact towards their psychological health (Eccles, Templeton, Barber, & Stone, 2003). Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify the relationship between psychological well-being and spiritual intelligence and suicidal ideation among emerging adults in Malaysia. A total of 304 samples were recruited, but only 271 samples had completed the questionnaires, which was collected through the online and paper-and-pencil method. The Scale of Suicidal Ideation (SSI), Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale-42 items, and Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory-24 items were used to measure all variables in this study. Data collected was calculated using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software version 25.0. Results of the Pearson correlation showed that there was a significant negative correlation between psychological well-being and suicidal ideation while a significant positive correlation between spiritual intelligence and suicidal ideation. Results of multiple linear regression found out psychological well-being, and spiritual intelligence statistically predicted suicidal ideation. Spiritual intelligence is the best predictor of suicidal ideation. Implications and limitations of this study were discussed, and recommendations for future studies were made.
