Fusion technique is a technique to fuse two or more plastic plies by heating them. It is easily done because the equipment need is very easy to find. With fusion technique the plastic waste can be turned into durable and waterproof material. In this research, a card wallet is made out of the recycle material. Carry goods is a commodity that is continuously needed by market. The research used material driven design process, in which tries to explore the recycle material both in technical and experiential qualities. Aside from material exploration, this research also studiesabout user perception regarding this material, this study is needed to remove the waste stigma. From the study founded thatemotional and performative are affecting each other. The three traits that user about plastic fusing material are pattern, contras color and transparency. The results are design recommendation on how to design using this new material and functional products like wallet designed with different style that express the material uniqueness.

Given recent consumer and market interest in more sustainable products and business practices, researchers conducted a nationwide survey of greenhouse and nursery crop growers to determine the current state of the industry in terms of sustainability. Growers were asked about the importance of sustainability, their views of state environmental regulations, sustainable practices in place and ones they would like to implement in the next 1 to 3 years, and interest in sustainable certification. None of the grower respondents in this survey were certified sustainable, but at least one fourth (25.8%) were interested in certification. More than half of the respondents currently recycle plastic pots, use controlled-release fertilizers, and composted plant waste. However, only 12% of growers want to use biodegradable plant containers or implement water conservation measures into their production system within the next 1 to 3 years. Grower respondents felt the biggest obstacle toward implementation was the sustainable production practice would not be compatible with their existing system of production.

The issue of solid waste management through recycling programs in Malaysia have long been discussed in the mainstream media. However, the issue is still not taken seriously since until today the recycling rate is still low about 11 percent compared to developed countries, which already exceeds 70 percent. The situation is alarming because of its implications on the health and size of landfill is increasingly limited. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the level of customer awareness campaign supermarkets to recycle through the reward system through the use of automatic machines discharge bottle called Deposited Recycle Machine (ReDMac). Data were collected through a questionnaire and interviews. A number of respondents involved were 362 people and they were randomly selected from five different locations. The study found that 73.2% of respondents were aware of the recycling campaign held out of which 59.7% were admitted to participate in the recycling campaign, while 77.1% of respondents agreed with the reward system to encourage consumers to practice recycling. This study convinced that the best alternative is to recycle plastic bottle through the use ReDMac, as a new way to educate the society to love environmental.
