This paper focuses on developing an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) wireless robot. It can sense the different parameters of the surroundings; transmit the data through a wireless medium and display data in LCD as well as on a Remote PC. It controls the direction of the robot from a remote location using wireless communication and thereby performing military surveillance and analysing the battlefield environment and challenges that the soldiers may potentially face. By using a Wi-Fi camera and many sensors the robot can help the soldiers in the war fields to examine various environmental conditions and challenges. The arduino and NRF (Nordic Radio Frequency) technologies are used to achieve the above tasks. The different sensors and the robotic arm are connected to the Arduino Uno which in turn is connected to the Nordic Radio Frequency module. Data transmission and receiving are done through Nordic Radio Frequency communication technology. The proposed model eliminates the limitations of the existing models and thus provides better assistance to the soldiers and enables them to handle their missions better.

With the development of the smart grid, residential electricity services have a higher bandwidth and frequency requirement to the power system communication , the existing power 230MHz narrow-band data transmission communication has been unable to meet the needs of the two-way interaction between the users and the smart grid. In terms of current communication technology in the power system, this paper introduces a wireless broadband radio frequency chip ,which supports 100MHz to 1.2GHz frequency range, and 5KHz to 2MHz tunable bandwidth. With the chip embedded in intelligent electricity interactive terminals, distribution monitoring terminals and other devices, it can achieve flexible and intelligent electricity services. This paper describes the architecture of the RF chip, and gives key technology solutions such as broadband matching, adjustable IF bandwidth of the channel, sums up the advantages of the chip, presents the application in the smart grid. The analysis finds that the chip has a variety of charateristics such as high integration, good redundancy, versatility, flexibility and so on, and can satisfy the growing application needs of power speacial network, and has an extremely promising market .

The main objective of this work is to develop a system consisting of Hardware and Software to drive Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). UGVs are robotic platforms that are used as an extension of human capability. This type of robot is generally capable of operating outdoors and over a wide variety of terrain, functioning in place of humans. So it can be used in national defense to perform reconnaissance and strike missions in urban environments, and by civilian teams to conduct search and rescue operations in hazardous terrain. The software system is used to control the UGV through computer from remote place by using satellite; the software gives it the waypoint/path-location. The robotic arm is used to carry spy weapons or to pick objects for the collection of data or to rescue with the help of its own color recognition system. The system is working efficiently as directed with acceptable precision.

Nowadays the world is very insecure due to various problems like terrorism , natural disasters , emergency health situations and surveillance. Valuable lives are being lost in various situation due to human negligence when carrying out rescue or emergency operations. Even though when our security forces are tireless working to save us everyday , we still have problem to entirely secure ourselves in different situation. To counter these issues we propose a project. Our project is a multi-role capable unmanned ground vehicle. It has three key aspects the modular design , robotic arm and surveillance The current types of unmanned ground vehicles are designed for doing only one specific task like handling a bomb or only carrying payloads but our unmanned ground vehicle is designed to undertake multiple tasks. When required the unmanned ground vehicle can be fitted with a robotic arm , metal detector or storage compartment for carrying supplies and even wireless camera for surveillance .The operations to be performed are done using two control methods RF control and through microcontroller chips. By implementing a mix of modular design, simple and cheap circuitry we can develop an effective and reliable multi-role capable unmanned ground vehicles.

This paper focuses on the design and control of unmanned ground vehicle for search and rescue missions which is controlled remotely. This robot is able to move on a variety of surfaces, also having capability of Picking and Placing of various objects and overcome the dangerous areas. The unmanned system is controlled wirelessly using Xbee wireless communication technology. A camera is attached on this mobile robot for live feedback purpose.  Many experiments are conducted to test the potential and performance of the robot.

On many occasions, the wired communications technologies can not meet the actual needs, such as in the operating in the wild or harsh environment. If using communication module built by radio frequency communication chip to achieve the data transmission of two regions of space, take MCU as a control component to achieve the freely data communication docking. This will be a good way to solve the wireless communications problems.
