Im Gegensatz zu neuesten Materialentwicklungen oder den Fortschritten der Gebäudeentwicklung in Hinblick auf Energieeffizienz und Bauphysik hinkt die Baustelle in der Umsetzung dem möglichen Produktionsfortschritt aus der Vorfertigung hinterher. Gebaut wird nach wie vor wie vor hundert Jahren. Ob dies kulturell bedingt ist oder der fehlende technologische Fortschritt von Teilprozessen als Vorbereitung der Automatisierung die Ursache für den rückständigen Bauprozess darstellt, wird am neugegründeten Lehrstuhl für Individualisierte Bauproduktion an der RWTH Aachen erforscht. Darüber hinaus entwickelt das interdisziplinäre Forscherteam neue Bauprozesse und Technologien, die mithilfe von Robotik und intuitiver Programmierung sowohl die Bauproduktion als auch die Baustelle in Zukunft ressourcenschonender, qualitativ hochwertiger und sicherer gestalten lässt.

Quality management in the project is of considerable importance from both an economic and a social point of view. The bridge construction project is located on the local road networks and focuses on many complex problems and issues that can be effectively solved by the quality management process. The research is to identify the best system for quality management in the bridge construction project. Quality Management plays an important role in the entire construction process. Total Quality Management, Quality Assurance and Quality Control ranked highest respectively as a part of quality management practices being followed in projects. Finding defects early will save you a lot of money, and you will see the project proceed as expected. The results of this study will document the early defects and solutions to it which help to improve the quality system of bridge construction projects. It focuses on providing a tool and idea to improve quality management for the construction. It also assists the contractor, consultancy and customer to understand best practices for the quality management system used in the bridge construction process.

Term quality can be defined as the implementation of specific requirements, having its source in the expectations and needs of customers, users of products or services and their buyers. In constructions sector quality is crucial at each and every phase of the process beginning with design ending with the use of the building. There exist many different methods and tools related to quality, Lean Management, Agility, which can enhance construction process. One of such methods is SWOT analysis that can be helpful in determining the current condition of the company performing it. Article presents brief description of the quality concept and introduction to the SWOT method. It is illustrated with the example of analysis performed in company from the construction sector related to design and production of wooden trusses showing which strategy would be most appropriate for the company to execute taking into account its current condition.

This article introduces the application of dry hanging method of stone material on the wall, elucidates dry hanging construction technology and construction process, gives a description of quality control key points of dry hanging method, analysis the common quality defects during construction and provides some corresponding prevention methods and amending measures to ensure the project quality and the decoration effect, which provides references to enhance construction quality management of stone material facing construction.
