With the development of new satellite payload technology, in order to improve the utilization of system resources, research is based on software-defined network (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) gateway architecture. Based on this architecture, the system realizes global resource management and overall data distribution, which can solve the problem of resource allocation and maximum/minimum rate guarantee between different VNO terminals under different beams, different gateways, and different satellites. For this, a global bandwidth management method can be used which is mainly a process of management to control the traffic on a communication link. The proposed global resource management and control method can be based on the rate guarantee value of the VNO/terminal configured in the system as the basic limiting condition and reallocate the rate guarantee value limiting parameter according to the resource application status of the online terminal. The method can maximize the resource utilization of the entire satellite communication system and satisfy the resource request of the user terminal as much as possible.

To provide a basic quantitative mathematical model for data analysis, decision-making support, and application of information systems oriented to emergency research, this paper established an information transmission response model for school students under such system mathematically based on actual school information transmission data during COVID-19 prevention. This paper proposes an emergency information management method—a two-step emergency information management method. It can be referenced for promotion of the development of IT-based school management, enhancement of IT application in school emergency information management, and improvement of the speed and accuracy of information transmission.

Successful implementations of machine learning (ML) and data science (DS) applications have enabled innovative business models and brought new opportunities for organizations. On the other hand, research studies report that organizations employing ML and DS solutions are at a high risk of failure and they can easily fall short of their objectives. One major factor is to adopt or tailor a project management method for the specific requirements of ML and DS applications. Therefore, agile project management (APM) may be proposed as a solution. However, there is significantly less study that explores ML and DS project management from an agile perspective. In this chapter, the authors discuss methods and challenges according to the background information and practice areas of ML, DS, and APM. This study can be viewed as an initial attempt to enhance these knowledge and practice domains in view of APM. Therefore, future research efforts will focus on the challenges as well as the experimental implementation of APM methods in real industrial case studies of ML and DS.

Diabetes patients are vulnerable to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. Therefore, challenges arise concerning how to manage nutrition support to strengthen the immune system in diabetes patients. The purpose of this paper is to review the roles of macronutrients and specific micronutrients such as vitamin D, B12, folate, selenium, and zinc in supporting the immune system and examine the nutritional management method of diabetes patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Evidence indicates that adequate amounts of protein, high omega-3 fatty acids, low refined sugars, high fiber content such as whole grains, and micronutrients including vitamin D, Bsub>12, folate, selenium, and zinc impact immune system function in diabetes patients. Consumption of a balanced diet with these nutrients is best to support the immune system in diabetes patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Liver disease andpregnancy usually aggravates each other. Its rather difficult to differentiate pregnant womens cholestasis from gestosis accompanied with chronic liver disease preceding pregnancy. 60 pregnant women were examined, the first group with cholestatic hepatosis, the second group with gestosis and liver disease. The practical aim o f the study was to choose righttactics o f pregnancy management, method and date o f confinement.Pregnant womens hepatosis turned out to be a complex concept: it may embrace different types o f pathological pregnancy under the single clinical diagnosis.
