Крымский полуостров - регион с разнообразными почвенными и климатическими условиями, является родиной более 70 сортов винограда. Сортимент винограда Крыма формировался на протяжении длительного времени в определённых условиях и обладает рядом ценных свойств и признаков. В статье приводится описание основных ампелографических и хозяйственно-биологических характеристик перспективного местного крымского столово-технического сорта среднепозднего периода созревания Солнечная Долина 58. Сорт пригоден для культивирования в юго-восточной прибрежной зоне Крыма при схеме посадки кустов 1,5 х 3,0 м и нагрузке 60 глазков на куст при обрезке 6-8 глазков. Хорошо растет и плодоносит на щебенистых почвах. Перспективен для приготовления красных столовых и десертных вин, и для потребления в свежем виде на месте. Сорт встречается только в коллекциях. The Crimean Peninsula as a region with a diversity of soil and climatic conditions is a home to more than 70 grape varieties. The assortment of grapes has been formed over a long period of time under certain conditions and has a number of valuable properties and traits. The article describes main ampelographic and economic-biological characteristics of the promising local Crimean table and wine grape variety ‘Solnechnaya Dolina 58’. The variety is suitable for cultivation in the south-eastern coastal zone of Crimea with bushes planting scheme of 1.5 x 3.0 m and a load of 60 eyes per bush when pruning 6-8 eyes. It grows well and fructifies on rank soils. It has good prospects for making red table and dessert wines, as well as for fresh consumption. The variety is met in collections only.

The chemical homeostasis of humans has changed due to global and local anthropogenic impacts on biogeochemical cycles. Their degree is mediated by natural geochemical character of local environments. The elemental composition of human hair and quantitative relation between elements is summary characteristic of biogeochemical environmental conditions. To determine the biogeochemical situation 78 inhabitants from different geographic regions across the Crimean peninsula, cities and rural areas were investigated through the analysis of 28 elements by neutron activation analysis and determination of mercury by atomic absorption spectroscopy. High variety of elemental composition in inhabitants’ hair on different types of territories in the Crimean peninsula was revealed. Comparison with different territories of Russian Federation and Belarus shows both common and specific features. On most part of Russian and the Crimean territories a deficiency of essential elements (Zn, Cu) in human hair is characteristic. At the same time there are significant differences in content of some essential elements (Ca, Fe) and other ones (Th, Ce, Au, U, Ag, Cs) even in the limited Crimean territory. It requires further investigation of factors, which determine the revealed variability.

Rendzic Leptosols are intrazonal soils formed on limestone bedrock. The specialty of these soils is that parent rock material is more influential in shaping soil characteristics than zonal factors such as climate, especially during soil formation. Unlike fast evolving Podzols due to their leaching regime, Leptosols do not undergo rapid development due to the nature of the limestone. Little is known how microbiome reflects this process, so we assessed microbiome composition of Rendzic Leptosols of different ages, arising from disruption and subsequent reclamation. The mountains and foothills that cover much of the Crimean Peninsula are ideal for this type of study, as the soils were formed on limestone and have been subjected to anthropogenic impacts through much of human history. Microbiomes of four soil sites forming a chronosequence, including different soil horizons, were studied using sequencing of 16S rRNA gene libraries and quantitative PCR. Dominant phyla for all soil sites were Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria, Acidobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Thaumarchaeota, Planctomycetes, Verrucomicrobia and Firmicutes. Alpha diversity was similar across sites and tended to be higher in topsoil. Beta diversity showed that microbiomes diverged according to the soil site and the soil horizon. The oldest and the youngest soils had the most similar microbiomes, which could have been caused by their geographic proximity. Oligotrophic bacteria from Chitinophagaceae, Blastocatellaceae and Rubrobacteriaceae dominated the microbiome of these soils. The microbiome of 700-year old soil was the most diverse. This soil was from the only study location with topsoil formed by plant litter, which provided additional nutrients and could have been the driving force of this differentiation. Consistent with this assumption, this soil was abundant in copiotrophic bacteria from Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria phyla. The microbiome of 50-year old Leptosol was more similar to the microbiome of benchmark soil than the microbiome of 700-year old soil, especially by weighted metrics. CCA analysis, in combination with PERMANOVA, linked differences in microbiomes to the joint change of all soil chemical parameters between soil horizons. Local factors, such as parent material and plant litter, more strongly influenced the microbiome composition in Rendzic Leptosols than soil age.

The situation in the ecology of the Crimean Peninsula in recent years was discussed in the article. The analysis of absolute and integrated indicators of the anthropogenic impact showed that the ecological situation remains difficult, and according to some indicators even continues to deteriorate. In summer 2018, the situation had worsened because of the large chemical release of titanium dioxide on the north of the Crimea from the holding pond of a large Russian plant that is situated near the town of Armyansk. This, in turn, led to the contamination of the large territory on the north of the peninsula. This fact indicates insufficient control by officials of the Republic of Crimea over the implementation of the RF laws for environmental protection by business owners of various forms of ownership, especially private ownership, the level of responsibility for the environment of which is very low.
