Taiwan has suffered from widespread haze and poor air quality during recent years, and the control of indoor air quality has become an important topic. This study relies on Multi-Agent theory in which collected air quality was used in calculations and after agents make decisions in accordance with pre-written rules to construct and indoor air quality control system and conflict resolution mechanism, which will serve to maintain a healthy and comfortable indoor environment. As for implementation, the simulated system used the Arduino open source microcontroller system to collect air quality data and turn on building equipment in order to improve indoor air quality. This study also used the graphic control program LabVIEW to write a control program and user interface. The implementation verifies the feasibility of applying multi-agent theory to air quality control systems, and an Individual intelligent agent has the basic ability to resolve their own conflicts autonomously. However, when there are multiple factors and user status are simultaneously involved in the decision-making, it is difficult for the system to exhaust all conflict conditions, and when context control surpassing the restrictions of binary logic rule-based reasoning, it is necessary to change the algorithm and redesign the system.

Information increase rapidly in recent years which make the effective use of information is not that easy. Knowledge fusion can improve the semantic accuracy and specification of knowledge; it’s a useful way to make the mass disordered information integrated and easy to be recognized for users. The paper proposed a knowledge fusion system model based on ontology and multi-agent theory to meet with the user’ changing needs at any time.

This paper presents the disturbance observers-based distributed formation control for multiple quadrotor aircrafts with external disturbances and uncertain parameters using multi-agent theory and finite-time control method. Firstly, the finite-time disturbance observers are proposed to handle the external disturbances on the position-loop. Similarly, when there are both the uncertain parameters and external disturbances on the attitude-loop, the finite-time disturbance observers are designed to estimate the total lump disturbances. By skillfully using homogeneous system theory, Lyapunov theory, and multi-agent theory, the distributed formation control algorithms are developed. Finally, through simulations, the efficiency of the proposed method (including the convergence rate and disturbance rejection) is verified.

An intelligent reconfigurability model based on multi-agent theory was proposed in this paper to improve feasibility of automotive manufacturing system. Each production management department in automobile manufacturing enterprises was designed as an independent agent. The practicability and rationality of the manufacturing system model was simulated as communication and interactive between different agents in this multi-agent system through JAFMAS. The application of multi-agent model in the design of automobile manufacturing system can promote the reconfigurability and intelligent level of the system.

This paper presents an Ontology Model of necessities and decisions for a cooperative community of heterogeneous robotic agents. Based on an ant community, it defines the characteristics of a collaborative and cooperative community of robots, using multi agent theory where each robot shares information with others robots in the community, to accomplish a common objective.

With the development of intelligent fault diagnosis technology, research on the application of multi-Agent theory in the remote fault diagnosis system is increasing. With avionic devices as the application background, the modeling of the remote intelligent fault diagnosis system (RIFDS) based on multi-Agent theory is researched, including the frame model, logical model and soft architecture. The key problems that need to be resolved for the realization of the system are also discussed.
