Abstract. Archaeological Information System: Network-based Data Resource for Recording Pottery and Ceramic Artifacts Data in Muarajambi Temples. Archaeological data recording activitystill faces many problems related to the accessibility and availability of an integrated data recording system. Database system is one of the many other solutions to solve the problem. Data management and database content-making have shown integration between two different knowledge that created an instrument for data recording based on network, which is a way to communicate where messages are delivered online. For users, this application can be a media for doing research. As for the filler, this database system becomes a data recording instrument which works effectively and efficiently. Forstudents, this database system can also help to increase the analysis ability. This activity focuses on making a network-based database system for pottery and ceramic artifacts from Muarajambi temples. Abstrak. Kegiatan perekaman data arkeologi sampai sekarang masih menjadi permasalahan tersendiri baik dari segi keterbukaan informasi maupun ketersediaan sarana perekaman data yang terintegrasi. Sistem pangkalan data merupakan salah satu pemecahan mengenai permasalahantersebut. Manajemen data dan pembuatan konten pangkalan data menunjukan integrasi dari dua ilmu yang berbeda sehingga dapat menghasilkan suatu instrumen perekaman data berbasis dalam jaringan (daring), yaitu suatu cara berkomunikasi yang penyampaian dan penerimaan pesan dilakukan dengan atau melalui jaringan internet. Untuk pengguna, aplikasi ini dapat berfungsi sebagai wadah untukmelakukan penjajakan dalam rangka melakukan penelitian. Untuk pengisi, pangkalan data ini merupakan salah satu instrumen perekaman data yang dapat menghemat waktu dan tenaga. Untuk mahasiswa, pangkalan data ini juga merupakan sarana pembelajaran untuk mempertajam kemampuananalisis. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada pembuatan sistem pangkalan data berbasis daring untuk temuantemuantembikar dan keramik yang ditemukan di Kawasan Percandian Muarajambi.

Lyon Playfair was a champion of scientific and technical education who was professor of chemistry at Edinburgh University before serving as a Liberal M.P., initially for a Scottish university seat, from 1868 to 1892. This article looks mainly at his role in debates on the Education Act of 1872 and the bills which preceded it. Playfair sought to define the democratic traditions of Scottish education, especially emphasising the legacy of John Knox, and to adapt them to the new national system. He idealised the direct connection between parish schools and universities, and the opportunities available to talented boys, using newly available statistics to support his case. He also contributed to the shaping of Scottish secondary education, and to establishing the modern idea of social mobility through educational merit. When the Scottish Office was established in 1885, Playfair opposed the devolution of education and this dissent led him to move to an English seat. His career has a wider interest for the history of Scottish politics in the age of Gladstone.

Abstract: The development of aromatic sensor array instrument for the detection of alcohol in perfume. The research was conducted by developing the sensor array using 8 sensors made of metal oxide semiconductor. The sensor types used in this study consisted of TGS 813, TGS 822, TGS 2600, TGS 826, TGS 2611, TGS 2620, TGS 2612 and TGS 2602. Response patterns of 8 sensors formed a sensor array pattern used to detect the aroma of 2 groups of samples perfume made from the essential oil of ginger. The first sample group is pure ginger atsiri oil without mixed alcohol. The second sample group was made from the ginger atsiri oil mixed with alcohol with a level of 0.02 M. The results of the data recording show that the developed instrument is able to dissect the first sample group with the second sample group. Data analysis using principal component analysis method (PCA shows that the instrument is able to distinguish the contaminated alcohol perfume group 0.2 M with the alcohol-free perfume group with 100% accuracy. The article substantiates the expediency of a holistic analysis of the problem of professional training of choreographers in the British experience and the need to extrapolate it to the plane of the national system of higher choreographic education. The purpose of the study is to identify the organizational and didactic foundations of choreographic education in the British experience and substantiate innovative ideas for its use in Ukraine. The article defines the criteria of comparison (regulatory, organizational, semantic, methodological and technological), comparative and pedagogical analysis of choreographers’ professional training in the British and Ukrainian experience, and also common and different trends. The article uses research methods: theoretical: analysis, synthesis and generalization of pedagogical literature; interpretation and comparison; scientific extrapolation; empirical: study of the British experience, observation, conversations with students and teachers in Great Britain and Ukraine. Result. Based on comparative and pedagogical analysis of professional training of choreographers in the British and Ukrainian experience revealed familiar and different trends. The criteria of comparison are determined: normative-legal, organizational, semantic, methodical and technological. Common approaches to choreographers’training are justified. On the generalization of the identified features the specific recommendations for the use of progressive ideas abroad in the Ukrainian system of choreographic education are substantiated.
