According to a press release emitted by INEGI on December 2nd, 2020, 93.2% of the companies in Mexico reported problems caused by the current pandemic, and more than a million businesses closed their doors permanently. In this context, the need to create technological tools that promote the development of activities of micro, small and medium businesses emerged. In this project, the development and creation of an application for a car wash business that allows clients and workers to book and manage appointments and the payment of services are presented. The development of this project was carried out with the framework SCRUM, using different tools for collaborative development such as ASP.Net for web applications, Visual Studio as Integrated Development Environment (IDE), a relational database system, and Model-View-Controller (MVC) as an architectural pattern. This module can be adapted to any kind of business with the same needs in the same field or other fields.

Measurement of height and weight, it is needed especially for school age 5-15 years old. From the results of monitoring height and weight measurements, we can monitor whether the child is underweight or overweight and obese. We can also monitor the growth of elementary school age children. The problem faced is that monitoring the growth of children in schools cannot be carried out effectively. This is because the process of measuring children's height and weight is done manually and of course it takes time for the process, besides that, data on student height and weight are also recorded still manually, so that data processing and utilization is not optimal. The purpose of making this Automatic Height and Weight Measurement Integrated Database System to process of measuring height and weight can be done effectively and efficiently, so it can produce integrated information in Database. The existence of an integrated database will make it easier for related parties to recap and archive children's data and store  history of children's growth as material for evaluating and monitoring child growth. The results of this evaluation can be used as a reference for follow-up to be conducted. The resulting output is information in the form of tables and graphs of children's growth. In this research using the prototyping method which aims to get an overview of the tool to be designed and built, then it will be evaluated by the user. The evaluated prototype will be used as a reference to make a tool  as the final product as the output of this research.

Although NoSQL databases do not require a schema a priori, being aware of the database schema is essential for activities like data integration, data validation, or data interoperability. This paper presents a process for the extraction of columnar NoSQL database schemas. We adopt JSON as a canonical format for data representation, and we validate the proposed process through a prototype tool that is able to extract schemas from the HBase columnar NoSQL database system. HBase was chosen as a case study because it is one of the most popular columnar NoSQL solutions. When compared to related work, we innovate by proposing a simple solution for the inference of column data types for columnar NoSQL databases that store only byte arrays as column values, and a resulting schema that follows the JSON Schema format.

The heart is a vital organ in the human body. Therefore, it is important in maintaining heart health. One of them is through heart rate-based training, which is keeping the heart rate within a specified range. One of its applications is cycling, but it is not uncommon for cyclists to exceed the maximum target when cycling, so that this violates the rules in training. The working principle of this tool is to activate an alarm warning if the user's heart rate exceeds the maximum target during training and activate the automatic brake when the user ignores the alarm warning. Training targets are obtained from the calculation of age, maximal heart rate (MHR), Rest Heart Rate (RHR), and training history. This study uses a grove heart rate sensor as a heart rate sensor with an Arduino MEGA microcontroller. The process of retrieving and storing data in the database is carried out by NodeMCU. DC 12V motor is used as a brake puller with the motor driver to control the direction and rotation of the motor.  Base on the test result, it is found that the participant’s heart rate data is stored in the database system, the alarm warning work (buzzer on)if the participant’s herat rate is above 135 bpm, and the brakes automatically work when the participant’s herat rate is above 135 bpm by changing the length of the brake rope from 15cm to 12 cm.

The use of computers to conduct examinations is more effective than traditional paper-based examinations in terms of immediate availability of results and long term cost effectiveness. This however is faced with identifying and authenticating the real identities of the examinees so as to reduce impersonation. The study examined the existing authentication method available on the Computer-based test system of Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, Nigeria and proposed the fingerprint biometric technique as an additional method to authenticate the examinees. The fingerprint biometric authentication was developed using FlexCode SDK and implemented on DigitalPersona 4500 fingerprint reader – the recommended scanner by JAMB for fingerprint enrollment. The system was developed using PHP scripting language on XAMPP local server and MySQL database system. The results obtained showed that there is no need for a middleware to link the authentication module with the CBT because of the Single Sign-On technique implemented. This result thus improved the level of authentication and access to the CBT. This will therefore reduce impersonation and increase the level of awareness of CBT by academic stakeholders.
